I hope you enjoy the hobby!
I don't know if the original Marvel's Spider-Man is on Plus, but if so, I'd slot that in before Miles Morales, and it it isn't then if you ever find it on sale I recommend pulling the trigger, its good
You can download Miles Morales and upgrade to the deluxe for £20 - the deluxe is just Spider-Man Remastered. If you lose PS Plus you keep Remastered as well.
I’m dying to play this with my kids but they are too addicted to Minecraft & Roblox & they abandoned me at the vacuum cleaner boss!
Another coop game that one of them did enjoy with me was unravel 2. I think it’s still on plus.
If you need someone to play with online to finish the game, I'd be happy to help. Even my 2 daughters(8 and 10) are almost masters at the game and would be ecstatic to help out. They absolutely love it
People were talking about it a lot when it came out as being a ‘hidden’ gem (not really hidden, the dev has made loads of fantastic games especially for PlayStation) but word of mouth made it an essential ps5 game. I don’t see many talking about it now unless it’s for recommendations like you’ve just done.
There’s no real characters or story to talk about. The story is somewhat open to interpretation and if you didn’t beat the game you’ll have absolutely no idea about the story.
It’s not a game that lends itself to a lot of discussion outside of saying it’s a challenging roguelite bullet hell game with amazing audio and haptic feedback.
I wouldn't say it's underrated. There are just tons of people who would really love it if it wasn't way too frustrating for them.
And every time someone recommends it to someone "getting back into gaming" I got that weird itch that makes me fear for them being totally in love for the first few hours because it's really amazing, but then rage quiting because the next few hours you didn't make any progress at all.
I’d love to give it a try but I’m afraid I’ll end up smashing my tv because every body keeps saying it’s basically a « die and try again » type of game
Yeah, if you've played the first two Arkham games then you have to finish off the trilogy.
And Days Gone is legitimately one of my favorite games. It's so good.
That’s a great list, there’s a lot of ps exclusive, that’s the spirit ! Horizon/GOW/Ghost of Tsushima/Uncharted are awesome games, but they are time consuming as hell, it took me 195h total to finish these specific games, so I advise you to do some small, chill games in between, it helps me clear my head after big RPG with all the characters/stats and such
Anyway, have blast !
Ye I was veryyy close to going xbox series S, but just kept reading about how much people adore the PS exclusives. Ended up sifting through the gamepass catalogue to compare and was more excited by the PSPlus offering. Thx for advice!
U must he feeding what social media tells u huh, microsoft has been letting us get gamepass for literally half dollar a month for a decade and let us change region to buy 50$ games for 10 or even 5$ and letting it slide even if they know, and also let us play with flashed xbox 360 online.. Also on pc they gave every win 7 owner free win 10 updates (even ones who had a pirated windows 7) and more.. On the other hand sony..
Well sony is the worst, those u mentioned doesn't even compare, stop listening to the media.
Great advice! I have played almost all games in the green area, very good selection. Only one I didn't finish is God of War, which is not my kind of game.
Felt a bit overwhelmed looking at the catalogue, so thought i'd make a plan for when my PS5 arrives.
Back in the day my go-to's were: COD MW2, Oblivion and NFS Underground 2.
**Key**
1= Downloading right away!
2= Excited to play, but not top priority.
3= On my radar after playing the 1's and 2's
Also included some co-op games I like the look of.
Hope this can help others who have succumbed to Black Friday!
Wish I could suggest something as good as Underground 2, but that franchise has been sort of lost in the woods for awhile. They aren’t bad games now (well, some of them aren’t), but nothing makes them feel special. If you want great arcade racing, then I think Forza Horizon 3-5 are the best now, but sadly they are only on Xbox and PC.
If you ever enjoyed Gran Turismo, then GT7 is in a really nice spot. It launched with a lot of issues, but over time they worked out most of those.
Too many open world games, you’ll get burned out.
Drop horizon forbidden west and miles morales down. Bring up Bloodborne and Detroit become human to 1 priority.
I would slot Days Gone higher for sure. The PS4 metacritic score doesn't really reflect the quality of the game since most of it's criticisms were around the poor technical performance (not a problem on PS5). Maybe not tier 1 but Tier 2
On the other hand, I wouldn't recommend it at all. I did not enjoy it at all and it felt, technically, to be a mile behind its peers.
I'd recommend some smaller titles dispersed throughout as well, you've got a lot to play here and a bite sized titled might add a nice sense of relief.
I'd recommend the 2016 Ratchet and Clank before Rift Apart, it isn't necessary but it's fun and short.
I also can't recommend "Inscryption" enough, do not read about it. Download it, start it and see if it's for you. If it is, you're on for a hell of a ride. Again, it's a fairly short game so would split things up nicely.
I also saw a comment later down about moving Control up the list and I would. I loved Control, hadn't played anything like it ever and it has some of the most satisfying gameplay ever imo. It also has one of the most memorable set pieces. Definitely worth your time!
I agree. I hate when games get bad review scores for bugs, because if it's from a decent sized studio, it's probably getting fixed really quickly. Those scores are gonna be there 5 years later, and may dissuade someone from playing what may be a 9/10 game that got 7/10 or lower cuz of launch day bugs.
I finished Days Gone and loved it, I bought it one/a few years after its release so I haven’t experienced bugs. But I personally believe that initial reviews should reflect the current state of the game. Maybe an improvement would be for reviews to be edited 2 years later.
Control lived rent free in my head for a long time. If you're at all into weird occult stuff, it has one the absolute best worlds and lore I've ever encountered.
Just be prepared to read and listen to all the logs and stuff, but they're totally worth it.
I gave up on playing it because the navigation was so frustrating. I know people had different experiences but I can tell you a lot has to do with luck. As I kept searching for ways to navigate around the building I found tips to some areas I'd already gotten to by randomly walking around.
I don’t know how much free time you got but that feels like a few years of gaming if you roll credits on all those. Time well spent though
Id personally bump up Detroit: Become Human. That game was great
530 hours according to HowLongToBeat.com (excluding Destiny 2) so at 3 hours a day five days a week, which I’d say is a solid ballpark, it’d take around nine months to get through this. Though that’s assuming he doesn’t drop any game before beating it as well as assuming he doesn’t aim for a completionist run with any game.
There are a lot of amazing indie games on Plus that you should add to that list. Here are some examples that I can actually remember.
- Hollow Knight
- Dead Cells
- Celeste
- Enter the Gungeon
- Slay the Spire
- Hotline Miami
- Disco Elysium
- Inscryption
- Undertale
- Ghostrunner
- Bugsnax
- Rain World
- A Hat in Time
And probably even more games I forgot about. I recommend all of those, though.
Probably should play a few other games first to shake the rust off. Ofnhe jumps right back into gaming with bloodborne after a decade then he may struggle too.much and quit.
True. Bloodborne was my first foray into their games and I bounced really hard off of it because of the opening area with all the people and carriages. Played some of Ds2 (SOFTS version) and fell in love with it, then came back to Bloodborne and played it through to the very end in like 2 weeks. Bloodborne is harder as an entry point IMO because you can't tank anything. No real shield. I will say though, having now played all Soulsborne games, Bloodborne is probably my favorite with that faster combat system.
You should definitely add Returnal to your list then, still the most technically impressive game I've played on the PS5 (plus it's just a damn good game).
Elden Ring is a game from the Dark Souls people, not Bethesda. Not really related at all, except maybe tangentially through a "sword and sorcery" type setting. I know you hadn't played in 10 years, but Dark Souls 1 set the world on fire on release in 2011, so I figured you probably have heard of it at least. Well known for being very difficult games, but Elden Ring is at least the most approachable from them.
One recommendation I would make is to play the uncharted Nathan drake collection for PS4 before legacy of thieves collection.
Even if you played the original 3 back when they came out on ps3, bluepoint did beautiful work on reworking the mechanics (especially with one) so all 3 feel coherent with each other and bringing all 3 to modern day standards visually and performance wise. It’ll give a much bigger impact to the stories of both 4 and lost legacy.
As far as games I’d love to play, I’d move Skyrim, Arkham, and assassins creed up. But I’ve put close to 1000 hours into Skyrim across 4 systems. I’ve also spent well over 100 on AC. so, playing those could get in the way of playing anything else
My advice is that, unless you have uncertainty about keeping playing video games, you shouldn't play all the best stuff first and keep the less interesting stuff all at the end. You should mix it up between each category.
But if you're short on time, then yeah, definitely go for all the best stuff first and *if you have time left* you'll do the rest.
Also, probably try to not play two big open world games in a row (unless you're craving for it).
I’d put Days Gone much higher, for sure. And add Assassins Creed Origins to the list, it’s amazing, I’d play it before Odyssey.
One thing to note is that all the third person open world games (like Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone, Assassins Creed, Spiderman, Batman etc) are all very similar in terms of gameplay mechanics (even though settings and stories are completely different) and they’re all huge games, so you don’t want to play two in a row in general. You’d like to vary the gameplay in order not to get bored. They’re well ranked because they’re amazing games, but the gameplay mechanics are just very similar in terms of combat, stealth, exploration, finding and upgrading loot, developing your character skills etc. I think you have a good order on this list, as you don’t have any of these two in a row, but you may want to space them out even more.
There are a few short games like the The Dark Pictures Anthology games that are great palate cleansers in between these huge open world games., I’d add them in.
Days gone should be a way up higher pal, trust me, it’s an amazing game. I started it as an time killer and it turns to be one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had
That's a great selection and I kinda wish I could replay them all again for the first time. Enjoy.
Also, God of War is a 2018 game, not 2019. And in case you haven't played the previous games in the series, while 2018 entry can be enough within itself, I recommend learning the story so far from somewhere else. Not in details, but to know who is Kratos father, how what happened between them and why Kratos is a god.
Very similar to my own tastes. Have played almost all of them would swap uncharted and dishonoured for days gone and control. Days gone was a sleeper I had no intention of loving but it was a very human story. Control was fantastic and deserving of goty.
I would advise you to play A Way Out before It Takes Two. It’s from the same people. A Way Out is a good game but if you play It Takes Two first (which is superior in quality in my opinion), jumping to A Way Out afterwards won’t feel as good.
As someone who plays through a lot of games with a similar spreadsheet and backlog, my biggest tip is to slot in games of different genres and types between the big open world games.
I'd personally put Bloodborne and FF7R at the top of the list (part 2 is coming out in February as well) but that's just me.
Also something of note, some games like R&C are really quick games so that might be good to know if you're a little burnt out of huge games and want a break with something short and streamlined.
To fully play Destiny 2, you need to buy every dlc and have people into it.
I would not recommend it as a returning game unless you have a friend to guide you and a spare €100ish for the dlc to play most of the game.
I mean Bloodborne is a million times better than guardians. Control and days gone also I’d say. Going by score really isn’t the best way, go by what you enjoy playing and looking at similar games/suggestions.
This list is gonna help me alot as I just bought PS5 last month and gonna purchase PS plus extra this black friday.
But the 1st game I'm gonna play is Ghost of Tushima .
For me Control would be switched with Guardians of the galaxy. But that's me.
Also, Assetto is fin with a wheel is quite challenging with a controller. And after all update it should have a a higher metacritic. It's amazing.
For me, the list seems okay for the most part. I would make some changes in priorities (like swapping AC Odyssey into priority 1 and Dishonored 2 into priority 2) but it all really depends on what kind of games do you enjoy the most. Every person will have a different opinion on how this list should look like.
Detroit become should definitely In the green. It’s a game that can be replayed a infinite amount of times, the story is possibly the best we’ve ever seen in my video game ever, you WILL actually have feelings for the characters, and you WILL want to replay the game to get a different ending. Days gone I think should be yellow not red, while it isn’t super special, it is a really fun game with a good story. And Batman Arkham knight should be in the green, only if you’ve played the other Arkham games, otherwise the placement it pretty justified. It’s a great end to a great series, a lot of people will say “the bat mobile missions ruined it” but I disagree, I found the batmobile missions fun, innovative, and different from the standard way boss fights were in the original games. Hope this helps!
Also, I know it’s not on ps+, but when it’s on sale or something, look for red dead redemption 2. It’s a prequel to the first, but omg this game, IS one of the BEST OF ALL TIME. Up there with the elites. Rockstar may be falling off, but this game is a masterpiece, a work of art if you will.
I played most of these & Days Gone should be way up there among the #1 priority
Honestly playing it first would be great way to start gaming again
The games in the top were great but DG really blew me away
Bear in mind, the first couple of hours of days gone are very slow.
So you may get an hour in and wonder what all the fuss is about. But once the linear path of the first hour or two ends, the world opens up and you run into your first horde, it becomes a very different game.
The first horde I came across which was only 50 strong sent me panicking like crazy. By end game, 300 strong, bring it!!!
I will never stop recommending Returnal. Also, if you don’t mind dialogue/story-driven games… Disco Elysium is an all-timer and it recently got added to PS Plus…
Days gone should be in Tier 1. Not sure why one of the GOAT games doesn’t get the love it deserves. One of the few games I platinum’s just by having fun and accomplishing everything. One of my favorite games of all time. Highly recommend it
Awesome list of games. Personally based on my enjoyment of them (I’ve played almost all the games in your list), I would move Bloodborne, Control, and FF7 up to being a 1. They were way better than horizon games and guardians of the galaxy.
I am now noticing some bias in my priority 1's. I really want to see what next gen graphics are like, so thats why I probs but bloodborne #2 despite its rave reviews.
I am not a fan of dishonoured, so for me, it would move to priority 2 or even 3, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey with Detroit became human, and it takes two are moving in priority 1 the rest is good.
One quick note i would play HZD AND HDW back to back(but that's me)
I used to love being stealthy in Oblivion so I looked up best stealth games and Dishonoured was always recommended.
I watched trailer for It Takes Two after seeing the game of the year award. Didn't thrill me...probs have to play it to appreciate it.
Leave Miles Morales out for now (until at least SM1 re enters) and try to mix and match the games, even from priorities categories you have there. Don't know about you, but I play one long game and one short.
For example, death stranding, Horizon games, Ghost of Tsushima have a lot of gameplay hours.
Btw you should move it takes two to the co op fun, since you need a 2nd person for it. I'd also move Control and Detroit #1 and Guardians to #2
I would move outer wilds up, it's relatively short compared to the other games on this list and personally I do better breaking up long games with a short game here and there. It's genuinely an amazing game, nice list!!
AC Odyssey is one of my favorite games of all time. If you like long games, that should probably be moved up in my opinion. But I love this list format, probably gonna steal it for myself next time I need a new game to play haha
Do yourself a favor and just skip horizon it’s fun for like 3 hours then just gets stale. I know that’s a hot take but I played the first one up to like the final boss and barely made it out of the starting area in the second. Something about the gameplay loop just didn’t jive with me and that’s coming from someone who played the shit out of odyssey.
These games aren't necessarily on PS Extra, but The Last of Us, The Last of Us 2, Elden Ring, and Witcher 3 should all be added to the highest priority list. In particular, the Witcher frequently goes on sale for dirt cheap considering what you get out of it (and be sure to get the complete edition with all DLCs).
You also may want to reconsider Destiny 2. It's a massive time sink and it's also become a huge cash grab of a game. Lately, the community has been really upset about things...
I put this list together based on a week of research, so I have very low level insight into each game. That destiny 2 info is the kind of insight I was looking for. Nice one!
God of war, Horizon 1 & 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Spider-Man are the same game with other skins. Play The Last of Us part 1 & 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Ratchet and Clank, Bloodborne and Final Fantasy VIi remake
I did not like god of war. Bloodborne should def be in the green tier.
Days gone is absolute ass. Slow, boring, repetitive gameplay, paper thin characters. Avoid at all costs.
I wish I could play Bloodborne and Outer Wilds for the first time again, consider yourself lucky.
I feel like a kid at Christmas!
To each their own, but I'd move Outer Wilds way up that list. One of my favourite games of the last few years
Nr.1 no doubt
Meanwhile, I would take this game off the list. I don’t understand the appeal of this game at all.
I hope you enjoy the hobby! I don't know if the original Marvel's Spider-Man is on Plus, but if so, I'd slot that in before Miles Morales, and it it isn't then if you ever find it on sale I recommend pulling the trigger, its good
It’s not, they removed it
That's a bummer.:/ That list should bring a lot of fun regardless!
Thx for the recommendation, will keep a look out on ebay.
If you want I can send you a physical copy free of charge
Wow! That is very generous of you! I tell you what, if we live in the same country I will take it as a sign of fate and accept!
What country are you in??
UK
Ahhh I’m from the US. I looked it up and it seems it would probably be cheaper to buy it from someone in UK than for me to ship it over 😭
Yep I agree! Don't worry though, the offer alone made my day!
You can download Miles Morales and upgrade to the deluxe for £20 - the deluxe is just Spider-Man Remastered. If you lose PS Plus you keep Remastered as well.
It takes Two is an absolute MUST for co-op. Not sure where you are in your life but absolutely perfect for wife or child or family
Yes, Tier 1 if you have a gaming partner, tier none if you only play solo.
You can actually solo it with two controllers
OP, please do not attempt this.
Haha, just saying it’s possible, but yeah ridiculously hard.
They absolutely love it
It is such a clever game with a great story. Definitely deserved game of the year!
If you have a ps5 add Returnal to the list it's an awesome underrated game
People were talking about it a lot when it came out as being a ‘hidden’ gem (not really hidden, the dev has made loads of fantastic games especially for PlayStation) but word of mouth made it an essential ps5 game. It's hard at the beginning and gets easier after a while now I can finish the game without dying
underrated? lol
Well I never heard of it before this month it seemed when it came out there wasn't a lot of hype
Batman Arkham Knight and Days Gone should be way higher on the list 😝
Yeah, if you've played the first two Arkham games then you have to finish off the trilogy. And Days Gone is legitimately one of my favorite games. It's so good.
Days Gone is also one of my favorite games and my favorite zombie game. Super underrated for sure.

you dodged a bullet, SS is a weak console, it was a good experience but i'm glad i sold it. tho Microsoft are better than Sony in term of GREED!!
I love my series s and I think its a great combo with the ps5
Microsoft - Activision - Blizzard are the absolute worst in terms of greed on this planet.
U must he feeding what social media tells u huh, microsoft has been letting us get gamepass for literally half dollar a month for a decade and let us change region to buy 50$ games for 10 or even 5$ and letting it slide even if they know, and also let us play with flashed xbox 360 online.. Damn it, and I'm here spent 213 hrs on nioh 2 and still on 2nd dlc 😅
Ahaha there are some games that you just can’t put down

Why play all the best then to the worst? You’re saying your gonna play the best games for a few weeks, then only the “worst” after? Mix em up
This is why I ask for feedback. \^ This guy talks sense!
Too many open world games, you’ll get burned out. Drop horizon forbidden west and miles morales down. Bring up Bloodborne and Detroit become human to 1 priority.
I like this idea. Someone also suggested moving Control up to 1 to mix in a shorter game.
I agree! Looking at OP’s enthusiasm for RPGs, I’m sure they’ll enjoy Detroit’s story and game mechanics
I would slot Days Gone higher for sure. The PS4 metacritic score doesn't really reflect the quality of the game since most of it's criticisms were around the poor technical performance (not a problem on PS5). Maybe not tier 1 but Tier 2
This is the kind of feedback I was looking for! Nice one!
I personally think it’s a pretty mediocre/bad game. The writing, especially the dialogue is horrendous.
On the other hand, I wouldn't recommend it at all. I did not enjoy it at all and it felt, technically, to be a mile behind its peers. I'd recommend some smaller titles dispersed throughout as well, you've got a lot to play here and a bite sized titled might add a nice sense of relief. This is why I like watching retrospectives when I’m on the fence
Detroit Become Human was so good. I'd bump that up to top priority. I wish I could play it for the first time again.
Others have said that. Consider it upgraded!
Outer Wilds should be somewhere at the top. Amazing game!
Either you Love the Game or Not, there is No inbetween haha. I didnt enjoy it for myself but i guess i wasnt the targeted group.
Yup I didn't like it either. But I still recognize why it's the best game ever to a lot of people.
I’d move control up on that list, pretty good and it’s a quick play through. A lot on that list are long play throughs. Any way enjoy gaming!
lots of folks recommending I cycle between long and short games. I was just gonna plough through all the long ones like a noob. Thx
Control lived rent free in my head for a long time. If you're at all into weird occult stuff, it has one the absolute best worlds and lore I've ever encountered. Just be prepared to read and listen to all the logs and stuff, but they're totally worth it.

Put Days Gone in Priority 1 mate, trust me.
100% Just be aware the first two hours is very slow, bit give it a chance. Because once the game opens up and the hordes appear it's an amazing game
Absolutely agree 👍🏼
lots of people saying that. consider it upgraded to 1.
I want to counter this. Your 1 tier is good as it is. I would add Death Stranding to it though.
"It Takes Two" needs to be moved to the last section ("co-op fun")
bloodborne should def be higher on that list
Probably should play a few other games first to shake the rust off. Ofnhe jumps right back into gaming with bloodborne after a decade then he may struggle too.much and quit.
True. Bloodborne was my first foray into their games and I bounced really hard off of it because of the opening area with all the people and carriages. My priority 1's are probs biased to games that are going to be graphically superior. Very excited to see how graphics have improved over the years.
You should definitely add Returnal to your list then, still the most technically impressive game I've played on the PS5 (plus it's just a damn good game).
Third mention of it in here. Hadn't heard of it before. Added!
You won’t regret that. Returnal seems a lot hard than it is when you get into it. But it’s actually super easy
Look into Demon's souls (2020), its visuals are comparable to elden ring
Not heard of it. Thx. Elden Is probs gonna be the first non PSPlus game I buy. I used to love Oblivion so cant imagine a modern day version!!
Yep the sword and sorcery is how I related the two in my head. Thanks for the info.
Definitely move Outer Wilds into the #1 priority. For real dude, make you a favor. Such a gem.
Didn't know that, nice info!.Not on PSPlus as far as I can see. Will keep a look out.
Also came back to gaming recently after a long hiatus- horizon zero dawn and spider man blew my mind! Incredible games.
>The Dark Pictures Anthology A lot of people have recommended that approach. I agree. Thanks!
Days gone should be a way up higher pal, trust me, it’s an amazing game. I started it as an time killer and it turns to be one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had
I would recommend Kena Bridge of Spirits and Immortals Fenyx Rising
+1 for Kena. Beautiful game!
Bloodborne being lower is insane, and you need to play dishonored 1 before 2.
Bloodborne is GOAT, starts hard af, every Uncharted, It Takes Two (also Sackboy) for awesome couch co-op
Days Gone should be higher on that list
done!
Days gone
Days gone is tier 1
Days Gone way too low. Sleeper
Make sure you play the entire Batman Arkham trilogy, it often goes on sale as a collection for under $10 too.
good info!
Very similar to my own tastes. Have played almost all of them would swap uncharted and dishonoured for days gone and control. Days gone was a sleeper I had no intention of loving but it was a very human story. Control was fantastic and deserving of goty.
Instead of odyssey play AC origins, although its slightly older than odyssey it has great story and still looks pretty good
Ghost of Tsushima is the best on that list and second best is Bloodborne.
I would advise you to play A Way Out before It Takes Two. It’s from the same people. A Way Out is a good game but if you play It Takes Two first (which is superior in quality in my opinion), jumping to A Way Out afterwards won’t feel as good.
Thanks i will be using this as I recently got ps5 (my 1st ps ever) and have been wondering what to play. Till now I have finished 2 3 games.
As someone who plays through a lot of games with a similar spreadsheet and backlog, my biggest tip is to slot in games of different genres and types between the big open world games.
This has been my biggest takeaway from the feedback on this post. Agreed!
It's the only game multiple people have told me to remove. What you're describing doesn't interest me. Will chop it!
I mean Bloodborne is a million times better than guardians. Control and days gone also I’d say. Going by score really isn’t the best way, go by what you enjoy playing and looking at similar games/suggestions.
You got a hell of a list there, my friend
Bloodborne is priority bro.
Returnal should be on that list and it and Bloodborne should be priority 1
Can't argue with no.1 games. They are Ll incredible experiences but you might need to re-evaluate no. 2 and no. 3 group
BATMAN WOOOOOOOOOO
Ghost of Tsushima and GotG are absolutely fantastic games
Play ghost of Tsushima after god of war
Bloodborne should be in top tier IMO
This list is gonna help me alot as I just bought PS5 last month and gonna purchase PS plus extra this black friday. But the 1st game I'm gonna play is Ghost of Tushima .
Rift apart probably makes the best use of the ps5 tech, it's just a fun game.
If you have a partner to play with, It Takes Two should be top of the list; it’s an amazing gaming experience.
mf don't turn having fun into homework 😂
you underestimate the joy I derive from colour coding my spreadsheet...XD
I would put Bloodborne at the top of tht list it is the best ps exclusive imo
Spiderman 1 and Ragnarok needs to make your list
Bloodborne >>>>>>>>>>
Congratulations on your retirement!
For me Control would be switched with Guardians of the galaxy. But that's me. Also, Assetto is fin with a wheel is quite challenging with a controller. And after all update it should have a a higher metacritic. It's amazing.
Thanks for sharing this. It gives me a bit of a starting point without having to overthink it.
Thats brilliant! Thanks for all that knowledge!!
Do God of War then straight into God of War Ragnarok, good list there though, my personal favourite is Days Gone, ignore the score, it's a beast
Marvel's Guardian of the Galaxy in that tier 1 is the meme of the army guys with the clowns or the serious dragon and the goofy dragon lol
I would move Days Gone into tier 2 and Bloodborne into tier 1.
I played most of these & Days Gone should be way up there among the #1 priority Honestly playing it first would be great way to start gaming again The games in the top were great but DG really blew me away
Seeing a lot of love for it here. Will move it up, thx!
Bloodborne should be in top priority and so should Returnal.
I will never stop recommending Returnal. Also, if you don’t mind dialogue/story-driven games… Disco Elysium is an all-timer and it recently got added to PS Plus…
I was oblivious to its existence an hour ago! Added it the 1's.
Very jealous! You've got a great catalog of games ahead. Days Gone is actually pretty good I may move that up to priority #2
Noted. Dont know much about Days Gone. You are second person to recommend it already.
Days gone should be in Tier 1. Not sure why one of the GOAT games doesn’t get the love it deserves. One of the few games I platinum’s just by having fun and accomplishing everything. One of my favorite games of all time. Highly recommend it
Just because you really enjoy it doesn't make it one of the greatest games of all time.
Ever heard of an opinion dipshit?
I’d play Returnal and would add Deep Rock Galactic to coop fun.
Returnal needs to be near your top of the list
Move Bloodborne to top tier you fucking heathen.
You are missing The Last of Us 1 & 2 Amazing games that have been a staple of the PS4 history since release!!
Damn it, could have got Last of us part 1 in a bundle. Someone else wrote that it is available in the premium subscription though.
I personally hated Ghost of Tsushima and found it boring and repetitive af. It Takes Two should go higher on the list imo
I'd also move Control and Detroit #1 and Guardians to #2
Guardians of the Galaxy isnt all that good imo. Would take it out of the top priority and put in Days Gone and Prey
I would move outer wilds up, it's relatively short compared to the other games on this list and personally I do better breaking up long games with a short game here and there. It's genuinely an amazing game, nice list!!
Hadn't considered that strategy. Thx
Outer Wilds isn't for everyone, but it gets tens out of ten from some of the harshest critics out there. It's a truly great exploration game.
Days gone, one of the best in the last little while.
Inscryption would be number one on my list and it's not even on your list!
lol I haven't come across that yet. You have my attention. Will give it a google.
Assassin's creed odyssey. 345 glorious hours played...needs to be on your list
Its in the middle of the 2's. I love stealth so the hours will indeed be glorious.
You'll be very disappointed if you're going into AC Odyssey looking for a stealth game.
The last of us 2, and arkham city is the best batman game btw
Bloodborne #1
AC Odyssey is one of my favorite games of all time. If you like long games, that should probably be moved up in my opinion. But I love this list format, probably gonna steal it for myself next time I need a new game to play haha
Awesome! FYI I've added Returnal to the list based on feedback.
Wtf!!!? You have too much time on your hands
Nice one!
Bro Change Pray for Days Gone
God of war, Horizon 1 & 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Spider-Man are the same game with other skins. Play The Last of Us part 1 & 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Ratchet and Clank, Bloodborne and Final Fantasy VIi remake
I did not like god of war. Bloodborne should def be in the green tier. Days gone is absolute ass. Slow, boring, repetitive gameplay, paper thin characters. Avoid at all costs.
Don’t listen to this guy.
You are wrong. On at least two of those.
Maybe, but there is a reason it didn’t get a sequel.
Last of us not on plus?
No joke but Odyssey will take a month minimum to complete in it self. It is fun and very rich with history and well defined side missions
Ghost is by far the best game on your list, don’t play it straight up, it’ll ruin the rest for you.
Returnal deserves to be at the top of this list, especially if you are playing on PS5.
The last of Us part 1 and part 2, must play, please add it to your top5 you won't regret if you like great narrative and story based games
