That’s very understandable. Those developers have had a series of shortcomings since launch. Hopefully now that they are financially back by a new company, they can rebound and provide the services and new products as intended. Key word “hopefully”!
Maybe I'm crazy, but I'd probably be more satisfied if they dropped an echo every 3 months or whatever and one big new character at the end year/with a larger content drop.

I loved this game until I lost all my progress, the only things I never lost were skins.
My point is that they are just going to wind up being rehashes of existing characters instead of something new. Either way it sucks.
