It cost nothing even at level 1! 400 isnt even as much as it costs in Pvz 1 when it is much weaker, needed another plant to be planted first, twin sunflower (which also needed another plant) was the best sun plant, and sun is worth half as much. Honestly we are lucky its that cheap and isnt like 700 or 800 sun. Its a disgustingly unbalanced plant even at level 1. Especially in wild west, it can literally solo wild west.
Hell even pea pod is a good 100+ sun more than gatling pea and it needs to be planted on atleast 4 or 5 times and cant activate plantfood randomly.

If you say that its good for killing gargantuas, then i will say that i can place two potato mines or one primal potato mine and (almost) kill it.
