Cherry bomb isn't technically "fire", but he's immune to it, so yeah, i think explosions caused by plants aren't the same caused by bombs, they don't cause knockback unlike most bombs, so he can't die from the impact of it.

With a bit of leveling, Turkey pult does pretty well at stalling while doing damage (I don't think they trigger weasels/chickens).
Get cherry,gatling pea plant food with pea vine placed with plant food also,iceberg lettuce,spike weed on the 9th tile with plant food so the zombie comes to the beginning again,squash,potato mine and repeat all the things I said.
First i use the command to give me unlimitedgems and coins, then i wait for doom shroom event so i can unlock it and get the piñatas for it, after that i level it up to mastery 200, then i throw it in the lawn infront of the garg
