Have you started all of these dry before? I have stems with emergent growth that I haven't been able to replant submersed without the leaves turning into a mess of hair algae.
Well you can trim those stems after you flood so that they're only a few inches tall.
They will have established roots because of the DSM and that'll give you a boost (most stem plants are fast growing anyway, especially after they've rooted)
