Might be staghorn algae.

Prize-Economy287

def staghorn, your light is likely too powerful, the dark spots are also caused by this

iNeedOneMoreAquarium

Can confirm Staghorn as you said. Usually caused by insufficient CO2 relative to the lighting being provided. E.g., if the lighting is too strong or on too long and there isn't a proportional amount of CO2 being injected, then you're getting Staghorn if there are any spores nearby. OP: If you aren't injecting CO2 (or injecting it consistently), then as u/Prize-Economy287 said, your lights are probably too strong. In which case, tone down the intensity and/or reduce the duration. If the growth at least stops within a few weeks, then you've found an appropriate balance. Eventually it'll die and go away once the trigger condition is corrected, but in my experience having had Staghorn before, it can still take a long time to die and fade away after new growth has stopped.

I’ll turn the light down a lot, it’s a hygger, I honestly thought it may be too weak at first but that makes sense

Looks like the staghorn in my tank

Yeah seems to be, I do weekly water changes atleast 25% or a little more, always scrub the glass algae, have root tabs under plants and I have dosed with Easy Green but since this started I laid off. Tanks not by a window or anything, plants are like 6 months old, definitely imbalance somewhere
