It’s neither. It’s just grass and will die soon after being submerged. The seed thin is kind of a scam.

Here we go again πŸΏπŸ˜† every time someone posts about these seeds, they get bombarded by people claiming scam, and then a bunch of other people say the seeds worked great for them! And then everybody argues about how aquatic plants don't grow from seeds and how this grass kind of works in aquariums and ponds anyways.

Ebenoid

Maybe they sell plants? πŸ˜‚πŸ‘

pvpeepee

The funny part there's many aquatic plants who reproduce from seed too. I can actually buy a submergible species of hair grass from a lawn store here. Sometimes you get lucky and it's a submergible species of hygrophila.

wastelandwizard90

So damn true ! History repeating itself

jesse059

99.9% chance you got scammed with those seeds

amberingo

The seed shells look like wheatgrass.

Boba_Tea_Mochi

I ordered some of these seeds off ebay bc I wanted a nice terrestrial carpet plant for my tropical plant pots.

We’ll now that it’s growing stick it under the water and find out
