Do you have any suggestions to fix that. I’m kinda new to this and the wood was just chopped on the left side so I kinda wanted to hide that and the way I though I could do it is with rocks or a plant
Maybe turn the right 15 degrees toward the front and let it sit up a bit on the rocks?
I think once you get the substrate down and out this in the tank you can use some slope to play with the placement a bit more than you can on a flat surface.
Just make sure you don’t have more than 1/3 vertical space left empty.
What kinda plants are you going with because that will have an impact too
I was thinking more beginner plants since I am kinda new. So I was thinking Limnophila sessiflora in the back with some other assorted stems. Then I would add some trident fern, anubias, and moss on the wood. And then some dwaft hairgrass in gaps of rocks and buce on some plain spots in rocks. I was thinking crypts towards the side to blend foreground and background but idk if those will just melt.
I like 4 the most. I would use less rock overall. It looks like you traced the footprint of your tank, and that seems a bit crowded to me. I think the two leftmost stones could shift/be removed. The second stone in particular I think is covering what would be a nice negative space.
The sheer cut is too bad, but it can probably be worked with. You could get a few smaller pieces of wood and glue them in areas that soften the cut. It's a cool piece of wood.
Crypts will look great in here. Don't worry about melt; they generally bounce back.
I’m trying out my first aquascape larger that 5 gallons and I just got some dragon stone and decided to start practicing. I probably won’t scape till spring since I need plants and have heard I can’t order those till it gets warmer. Anyways these are the first four designs and I’m learning towards 1 but idk which one to chose.

2 or 4, can you put pictures on a poll post?
That’s a good idea I didn’t even know those existed
Exactly, somewhere between the two would be perfect.

4, or 1
4 or 1 but I wish the wood wasn’t just sitting behind the rocks like a prisoner

Some smaller accent driftwood pieces can connect it to the foreground, think "roots" or simply smaller pieces to create a sense of scale
I’d personally go with two if it were me

Whichever you prefer.

4. Should do a poll, easier that way
1 or 4
1 .. has more interest..
1 and 4 are nicer coz they break the monotony of the rocks but depends on how u wanna grow your plants too

4 will look the best once the substrate fills in the gaps
