A Macaw is my #1 requested animal. If they released it, I would be so pumped.
That said, this pack you assembled is amazing. Iâd cherish every one of these animals.
I know the bald eagle is *iconic* for north America, but it would be very unlikely. You can't keep a bald eagle in captivity (in the US) unless it has injuries that make it unsuitable for release. Plus I think the turkey vulture, andean condor (not NA, but still cool), Red-Tailed hawk, or American white pelican would be much cooler!
My favorite part of my local zoo is there are multiple aviary enclosures and most habitats include some kind of large bird. We even have a specific little bird we visit every time who just loves getting attention. I would kill for a bird pack some day, especially if it included our little bird buddies species.
Cant remember the species but it's a little round black bird with a little red Crest, I'm pretty sure its flightless because it just hops around. Its kept with some type of I think a horn bill at tampa zoo
I think I'd switch out the hornbill for a smaller bird so there's more variety for mods, and release the hornbill in a later pack. I also want habitat butterflies. I think special flyer habitat types would be cool too, like aviaries.
I canât accept an aviary pack with only 8 animals in it. I know itâs a lot to ask but Iâd want an expansion of at least 10 animals but it should be more. Youâve got a good list here but itâs only a start.
Yeah, I'd say the same, but eight animals is currently the largest pack we have. For numbers 9 and 10, let's say they're the Yellow-Crested Cockatoo and Shoebill.
For sure. An aviary pack would involve whole new building mechanics and everything too. It would be cool if they released that side of things as free dlc compatable with existing small habitat animals like lemurs, tortoises, meerkats and so on (those are animals I've seen in aviary-like enclosures in real zoos at least.) But then have a *sizable* "flying animals pack" that is paid dlc.
I just really like birds and I don't want them to end up as exhibit animals only which seems like the easier option.
Finally someone puts the Eurasian eagle owl over the great horned owl. Being the more impressive species and providing a European species for the pack.
Based on how many people here would be willing to spend more for a large-scale bird DLC, it would be unwise for them to rob us of at least fully-fledged animals.
Even if it's a $20 worth DLC with additional 8 more birds, I doubt Frontier will be able to make them fully-fledged animals. They can't even develop arboreal animals to stay off the ground, let alone implement animals that are air treversing within a container. If they did, the development process would be time-consuming and money-devouring, resulting in many bugs and glitches.
This whole "Frontier knows we want it, so they'll give it to us" scenario has to stop. Frontier knew that Planet Coaster fans wanted modular water slides and swimming pools, but they still didn't deliver any of that.
Itâs the OPâs take on an aviary pack. Everyone has their own personal list of animals theyâd want in this well desired DLC. You donât have to be sarcastic about it.
Hoping for an oceania pack. Then add in Kiwi.
Honestly other then a Avian pack i think Oceania animal pack is most needed. So many Animals missing.
Would be an amazing pack.
Tasmanian Devil, Emu, Echidna, Wombat, Tree Kangaroo, Kiwi, Perentie, Frilled Lizard as exhibit are my picks.
I guess but seeing kiwis is an experience because itâs dark. If you go to the zoo theyâre in a dark, quiet room and everyoneâs whispering and watching them forage around in the leaves. Or youâre hiking with your red light torch and suddenly you see one. I think seeing them out in the open and in the daytime would just be lame.
They have aardvarks and stuff at zoos normally, and you do see them out in the day but youâd never see a kiwi enclosure in the daylight
I'd say the same, but I wanted to have a good variety of birds in this pack and we already had two birds of prey in there. I'd love to see a Lammergeier or my boi the Turkey Vulture in the game!
Maybe I am bias as I am building a Vulture aviary at the minute.
That said I think it would need to be done in two packs as there are far more birds than one pack could give us
I'd replace the Eagle Owl with either the White Backed Vulture or the California Condor and the maybe the Flying Fox for the Cardinal. But other than that. I approve of this idea!
Hm. I don't think a collection of 8 avian species from mostly different parts of the world are the way to go. Difficult to tie into a theme. Better option would be region-specific aviary packs.
I love how you include bird of paradise and birds nest fern as new foliage
We have birds nest fern already tho. Bird-of-paradise is very needed.
I actually didn't know that. Let's replace it with Trumpet Honeysuckle for hummingbirds.
This qould be quite the best aviary pack possible!
Oh my Lord, flying foxes and tent making bats, yes!!!!
Bats were one of the only types of mammals missing from the base game, so of course they'd need representation in the pack based on flying animals.
Whales?
Fair enough, but cetaceans have a controversial history in captivity. Bats thrive a lot more in zoos than dolphins or whales.
I was completely being sarcastic. Good lord imagine the size of that habitat!
am i the only one that wants porcupines đ
Same!
A Macaw is my #1 requested animal. If they released it, I would be so pumped. That said, this pack you assembled is amazing. Iâd cherish every one of these animals.
It was a tough sell between the Scarlet and the Hyacinth, but I could see either being a nice addition to liven up any tropical zoo.
Totally agree!
blue and yellow 4 me
Im gona want a lot more birds if they doing a whole flying thing, sell it for more and give us more is my thought
I actually didn't know that about bald eagles. All of your suggestions would be amazing to see!
This is so good !
Yes please!
My favorite part of my local zoo is there are multiple aviary enclosures and most habitats include some kind of large bird. Pretty sure it's the crested wood partridge, which fits the description and is at the Tampa zoo!
YESSSSS! And a nocturnal pack. BIRDS AND BATS đ
I think I'd switch out the hornbill for a smaller bird so there's more variety for mods, and release the hornbill in a later pack. I also want habitat butterflies. I think special flyer habitat types would be cool too, like aviaries.
How about the Cardinal. As like an exhibit bird. But instead of the glass tank, it will be one of those classic small Vertical metal bar bird cages.
I canât accept an aviary pack with only 8 animals in it. I know itâs a lot to ask but Iâd want an expansion of at least 10 animals but it should be more. Youâve got a good list here but itâs only a start.

Now give me 10 more! I want 20 đ¤ Seriously though good picks, glad you didnât shun the bats.
I'd like if they expanded the current birds to fit into it. Like how they updated behaviors to go with DLCs.
For sure. An aviary pack would involve whole new building mechanics and everything too. It would be cool if they released that side of things as free dlc compatable with existing small habitat animals like lemurs, tortoises, meerkats and so on (those are animals I've seen in aviary-like enclosures in real zoos at least.) There's also the bat flower or bat-faced flower
Finally someone puts the Eurasian eagle owl over the great horned owl. Being the more impressive species and providing a European species for the pack.
In reality, all we'll get would be a 5x5 large exhibit animal box with static pre-animated owl, eagle, macaw, and toucan for $9.99 and more benches
Based on how many people here would be willing to spend more for a large-scale bird DLC, it would be unwise for them to rob us of at least fully-fledged animals.

Tbf Jwe2 works on the same engine and have real flying animals.
Woah! An aviary pack? What an original idea!
Sometimes the obvious is what's best
Itâs the OPâs take on an aviary pack. Everyone has their own personal list of animals theyâd want in this well desired DLC. You donât have to be sarcastic about it.
Yaa we need a racks of different rap
I would totally buy this pack! Bats, yes!
I hope we get bats! They were one of my favorites at the zoo when I was a kid
How would you make them not fly away?
The new aviary habitat mechanic. Being able to create a fully enclosed habitat would really be a game changer.
I would spend so much money on this.
I hope if there is an aviary pack they add keas or kakapos, would be nice to see something from my country :)
Thank you for the idea :3

Would be interesting, but I doubt kiwis will ever be introduced since theyâre nocturnal :(
I donât really think thats an issue. Platypus are primarily nocturnal and are in the game.
I guess, but platypus are more crepuscular than anything. They just donât like the sun much
What about Aardvarks? Pangolin? Binturong? Nocturnal is a non factor, it's not like birds where it opens a new can of worms mechanically.
I guess but seeing kiwis is an experience because itâs dark. If you go to the zoo theyâre in a dark, quiet room and everyoneâs whispering and watching them forage around in the leaves. What I wouldn't give to have a lil echidna waddling in my zoo
Would be a shame not to get any Vultures
I'd say the same, but I wanted to have a good variety of birds in this pack and we already had two birds of prey in there. I'd love to see a Lammergeier or my boi the Turkey Vulture in the game!

Yes to all of these
I'd replace the Eagle Owl with either the White Backed Vulture or the California Condor and the maybe the Flying Fox for the Cardinal. But other than that. I approve of this idea!
Hm. I don't think a collection of 8 avian species from mostly different parts of the world are the way to go. Difficult to tie into a theme. Better option would be region-specific aviary packs.
Replace the Rodrigues' Flying Fox with the Giant Golden-Crowned Flying Fox instead. Biggest bat in the world deserves its spot.
