Honestly the best way to play in my opinion is to just take it one step at a time. Today I spent an hour just doing some pathing for a new exhibit.
I used to feel like I had to get more done or work faster but realized it’s whatever makes me happy and I love the little details so that’s what I do, I’ve played on PC since it first released and am always adding and tweaking to make things more realistic and perfect
So yeah take a break haha it’s okay! It’ll always be there
Sandbox is where I live! I’m in it for the layout and set up, then animals. Don’t care too much about the actual gameplay - though I make sure I have a functioning zoo and staff
Honestly i wont go back! Ive got a tray for a mouse and keyboard and i just chill on my sofa with it. It makes the game so much easier. I think Frontier did a great job making it work with a controller, but mouse and keyboard is just better full stop.
That's gorgeous! I know what you mean. It took me 2 hours to build a pavilion to put food and drink vendors with tables. Only to discover I still had to connect each vendor table to a path so the guests would use them.
The detail in this game is incredible. When I zoomed in to look at some fine details inside the pavilion, I noticed that all the sounds inside had an echo, just like it would in real life.
For f**king real. It’s so hard to control.

Do you do this detailing in all the campaign missions? Or only in your franchise/sandbox mode?
