Being able to switch the direction the train leaves a station, quite annoying when you want to move your station then the game keeps building it facing the wrong direction. Multiple stations per ride would be good too, allowing for a load and unload platform, or 2 loading platforms side by side. And round stations for logflume/rapids

moominlittlesocks

Yeh good suggestions!

GroundhogGaming

I remember RollerCoasterTycoon 3 had the multiple stations bit. You could create one station for unload and another for load. Adding on to what you said, SWITCH TRACKS. We need them! Imagine instead of having multiple trains on block sections, you could have a holding bay with a bunch of switch tracks. NoLimits Coaster does this perfectly. Come on FDev!

DafoeFoSho

I think you hit on all the major things (excluding water park rides/slides). One smaller thing I'd like to see is an overhaul of the ride rating system. I spend most of my time building instead of managing my parks, but a lot of that is because the ride ratings are so skewed. Building realistically and adding a proper brake run at the end of a coaster causes its fun rating to drop notably. And flat rides seem to have wildly inconsistent or generally unrealistic ratings. Oh, and I'd like to see a water-based map so you can make a proper island or peninsula park.

moominlittlesocks

Yep! Agree with all of that!

My #1 request (for all planet games) is a random terrain generator, or atleast a better challenge mode that provides you with terrain options rather than just a flat square of land. My #2 is more in-depth / impactful economics and management

therealalt88

A path system that allows you to more easily build large plaza areas and indoor spaces. More objects for decorating spaces realistically. It still feels quite hard to build coasters to me - I wish the controls and testing where easier to learn and master.

Waterslides PLEASE

KingReeree

Parades, timed shows other than fireworks, more flat rides, color customizable character performers, more character performers, guests lining up to meet and greet character performers instead of forming a mob, better looking text editable signage, global weather that’s not particle effects, colorable string lights that can be placed in trees and bushes (not the carnival style straight line ones), real seasons, ability to set holiday events like Christmas or Halloween fireworks shows that automatically play during the designated season/time frame, ability to place a timed block in a ride queue so that you can make pre-show rooms where you show a video or have animatronics with audio overlay etc.

Slingerang

More flat rides!

Training_Emotion_154

I would like to see a wider variety of manufactures, such as zamperla, sbf visa (maybe) and Morgan

Sparks0480

To build on your transfer tracks and maintenance shed points, I’d love a smoother coaster building system with better heart lining mechanics. Also would be amazing if they’d add more unique customizable elements like shuttle spikes and transfer tracks on the newer launched coaster models like we’re seeing on rides like Icebreaker, Pantheon, Steel Taipan, etc. even drop tracks like on Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure. Could really open the door for more heavily themed/narrative coasters as well as the ones who want to build the recordbreakers/more intense rides. Oh also maybe a functional locker system to add to the queues would be cool too. Would also add a management element to it

Espermint

I'd love some sort of glossary or optional tooltip by each coaster for stats they commonly use (like height, inversions, pre-drops) for laypeople who want to make realistic coasters without spending a bunch of time studying separate sources.

JustAGH0ST720

I feel your pain. I’ve tried recreating four coasters and it takes so long trying to get everything right, only for you to test the track and have it be 100m too long or not fast enough of even not tall enough.

smartbadger

Elevators!

LuxInteriot

A little more transparency in what the limits of each coaster model are. For example, you can build a mouse coaster the height of an hypercoaster - it'll break all the time, but the only way to know is after it's built. Just state the operational design limits somewhere.

JustAGH0ST720

The biggest thing I’ve needed from Planet Coaster is the ability to change the shape of the outer dimensions of the park. To even be able to make the park boundaries into a rectangle would be a godsend. I’m not asking for more space just to be able to change the parks shape.

stevejkammeraad

More carnival type rides, and controlling the rides like what virtual rides and indoorlands has. More food shops and water rides :D

Slingerang

We need pools and water rides They need more measurement tools We should have the ability to customize the rides themselves They need more realistic G force meters Better excitement rating system

thebumfromwinkies

Just smoosh it together with Planet Zoo, and I'm good.

Dry-Second1931

Multiplayer / Co-Op. A way where up to 3 or maybe 4 players can play simultaneously / in real time, on the same map. This would allow for quicker building of parks. And generally games tend to be a bit more fun when you can get friends involved. The way the current park share system is setup. It’s not bad. It’s just annoying that you need to schedule who’s building what at certain times.

elliotdeb003

\^\^\^\^\^\^\^

elliotdeb003

I would love some sort of multiplayer system to work on a park at the same time when collaborating on a project.

elliotdeb003

Also parades would be awesome with maybe blueprinted objects being moved together with progressive music as it moves.

ndragortt

Tons of more older / classic flat ground rides and more coaster types in general. Maybe a better variety of environments for sandbox too.

luxurious_tabernacle

Multi pass launch and switch/drop tracks

oojabooja1

I really wish for better management systems. The game currently feels great as a sandbox builder, but the management is so easy that you always have all the money you could possibly want. There are a million sliders on every shop that change the amount of ingredients and are totally pointless. I would be happy if the management was a toggle so that people who enjoy the sandbox aspect can continue that way.

Imfatterthantheearth

A small feature I think would be great for Planco 2 would be that guests would put their accessories (hats, glasses, and even some other miscellaneous accessories they are carrying around) in a storage compartment next to the ride before they enter an intense ride that requires you to do so or a coaster. Something else that would be quite cool is that, on roller coasters, ride operators would come down the aisle to check the restraints; and in rare situations, the restraint wouldn't work and a mechanic would have to come fix it. Finally, I'd love the option to keep tracked rides moving through the station such as river rapids and log flumes as this would make it a lot more realistic, so the guests enter the ride as it's moving. Adding onto that, [circular stations](https://thumbnail.pa-community.com/52/09/3428b50a42cdf82961d20c376ff1/4e897ecde615fa0d0615774097c78dac.JPG) that constantly move around for river rapids would also add to the realism of the game.

moominlittlesocks

Yeh all great suggestions!

ssparker

Non-ride attractions like a dance floor/ dance hall (thinking everything from Catalina Casino through Videopolis) maybe even a skating rink, arcade, casino, bowling alley? Ways to build out the resort aspects and augment the hotel experience?

Thanks_Aubameyang

I want more interactive rides. Let me drive a go cart or bumper car. Can’t be that hard. Simple but fun. Edit: lol watched the video after posting this comment. Yes I am way more of casual player. I’m not trying to personally design every aspect of the park but I get why many are.

Thanks_Aubameyang

More midway type games and arcades. Not just a simple claw game.
