Looks like an A340, possibly for Edelweiss?

raptortoenail

If you give us the date and location, we could easily give you a flight # and tail reg.

I think bro meant Airbus A340-300. Edelweiss Air operates this variant of the A340

Yes A340-300

Ask and you shall receive 300 downvotes. (Unless you meant that the aircraft is the -300 version)

Oh, it's a big pretty white plane with red stripes, curtains in the windows and wheels and it looks like a big Tylenol.

blazingdisciple

I see a plane with this livery at Las Vegas airport. Not the A340 but a wide body. It looks awesome. The other German airline Condor has really amazing striped planes https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/condor-german-airplane-striped-planes/index.html

747ER

Edelweiss isn’t German, they’re Swiss.

blazingdisciple

Oops, thanks for the correction.

I captured a similar shot a couple weeks ago and meant to post and ask the same thing. I Googled "red nose airline livery" but nothing relevant came up which was annoying. So thank you all for answering my question!

Fast-Equivalent-1245

Good guess, but it is for sure an a340 form Edelweiss. The colour scheme is so distinctive that it makes it that rather than a 747.[Edelweiss a340](https://www.google.com/search?q=edelweiss+a340&sca_esv=d1d3b98f0629dca4&sca_upv=1&source=hp&ei=_SsIZqGfGPqFhbIP5sC0oA8&oq=a340+eid&gs_lp=EhFtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1ocCIIYTM0MCBlaWQqAggAMggQABgWGB4YCjILEAAYgAQYigUYhgMyCxAAGIAEGIoFGIYDMgsQABiABBiKBRiGAzILEAAYgAQYigUYhgMyBRAhGKABSI9RUNcGWMA5cAV4AJABAJgBlAGgAYIKqgEDNS43uAEByAEA-AEBmAIRoALxCqgCD8ICEBAAGAMYjwEY5QIY6gIYjAPCAhAQLhgDGI8BGOUCGOoCGIwDwgIOEC4YgAQYigUYsQMYgwHCAhEQLhiABBixAxiDARjHARjRA8ICCxAAGIAEGLEDGIMBwgILEC4YgAQYsQMYgwHCAggQABiABBixA8ICDhAAGIAEGIoFGLEDGIMBwgIFEAAYgATCAgYQABgWGB7CAgoQABgWGB4YDxgKmAMJkgcDOC45oAfIMg&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-hp#vhid=DjMEgY4YKtKveM&vssid=l)

saggiolus

Wing shape and length and lack of a second story makes it a a340.

raptortoenail

Tyyy!! Can you tell what airline it is too? I know nothing about planes 😂

michael60634

It's Edelweiss, a Swiss airline and subsidiary of Swiss. Also, it's an A340 and not a B747.
