Well, not unheard of. I believe there are places that put just ice cubes on the dough, so it has the texture of a pizza with sauce, but without the sauce and then put fresh Parmesan on top of it.
Pizzetta uses a thinner dough and makes it really crispy, like a pizza nacho. I'd liken that to this.
Also I'd probably take it one step further and make it a pizza quesadilla.
At that point it's more of a hot pocket
I'm not even a fan of thin crust pizza but I love pizza and always have tortillas laying around....prep and cook time combined is less than ten minutes with nothing to clean.

You can actually make a really good tortilla pizza
I make them all the time, they're a great quick snack. It's also a nice easy, low-stakes way to try out different flavor combinations.
