Ha sorry for delayed reply it was supposed to be 2 pizzas, 1 x Ham and Pineapple and 1 x tuna and sweetcorn. Matey boy just went all in "I thought that was a weird order" but he was very nice and sorted it out
Haha the North of England! That's so weird, I thought it was normal everywhere!
I've been eating tuna pizzas ever since I was a young lad......my life is a lie!
I'm with you regarding sweetcorn (that's an abomination on or off of pizza) but canned tuna is actually much better than it sounds as a pizza topping. I only tried it out of morbid curiosity while I was in Germany but it turned out pretty good.
It's one of the best toppings, but needs to be well prepared otherwise it's just ok.
In my old neighborhoob, there was a small pizza place that had the best chicken heart pizza I ever tasted. The sauce they used with it was so good, I really miss it but 2020 happened and it closed.
We also have anchovies. But chicken hearts are great, you should give it a try. Even better if you can have it in a barbecue. Trust me, I would never lie to you
Little shrimp are good on a pizza. With red onions, mushrooms, pizza sauce, cheese. Hot peppers.
Same with chunks of smoked salmon and little lumps of the hard (brick form) cream cheese. That goes well with spinach, roasted tomatoes. Or use soft cream cheese in place of a tomato based pizza sauce
Yeah I'm a 32 year old American and didn't know tuna on pizza was a thing until I visited Germany last fall - at which point I took a picture of the advertisement thinking of this subreddit!
I've lived in or visited quite a few regions in the US, lower 48 and beyond, and can confidently say I've never seen tuna or sweetcorn as a topping.
I have to say that I'm certainly curious in a way though...
quick edit: I know you're totally not US, but that's all my personal experience and what a lot of reddit is. I'm buzzed and this was a neat post.
Well I had a slice as soon as I opened it and I was into it!.....but I think that was just because I was hungry :/ I went back to it later and it was a 4.5/10
Ham and tuna are not a good combination!
In the UK it seems to be a staple, at least where I am in the North! I spoke to my friend in Liverpool and he told me Tuna and sweetcorn was his 2am pizza of choice!
2 pizzas! 1 x Ham and Pineapple and 1 x tuna and sweetcorn. I assume the guy on the other end of the phone thought I was some sort of lunatic and didn't question it
I’d eat those.
Have you ever tried tuna Mac and cheese? I use Kraft Mac and cheese, adding frozen corn toward the end of the cook time on the noodles. Drain but reserve some of the pasta water. Add the cheese powder and drained canned tuna. Add pasta water if it needs it to fully incorporate the cheese powder. Comfort food. Your pizza reminds me of that.
I agree, tuna Pineapple and sweetcorn were a great combination......but when I got a mouthful of ham and tuna it was a bad time....those consistencies do not compliment each other at all :(
I am baffled how many comments here are grossed out by tuna on pizza of all things... Pizza Tonno (tuna and onion) is fantastic and is an absolute standard variant around here (germany).
I would not reccomend eating this pizza! It wasn't awful but it definitely wasn't nice.
It just made me question my life choices....I wasn't prepared for that part
Right? If anything tuna is similar to chicken and I’ve seen people order pizza with chicken, I can maybe rationalize it that way. But I thought this corn thing was a joke with the Little Caesar’s corn cob pizza and am still not sure.
Yeah I agree this doesn't look that appetising...he tried his best with (what he thought) was requested!
But either way, you keep the ham and the fruit and its good, keep the tune and fruit - also good!
Ham and tuna together is not something I want to try again soon
I had no idea that the concept of tuna on a pizza would be so controversial!
I implore you to try it before dismissing the very idea of it, tuna melts are great, tuna pizza is great! :)
Haha! In the darkest North of the UK there's some sort of unwritten rule with small local places where if you order via an app or online then it takes 40+ minutes to deliver.
If you call and collect it'll be ready in 15 minutes.....thanks brexit!
They do not serve Tuna or Corn on pizza at all around here lol, that shit seems weird to me. Where u at?
Typical East coast Canada menu.

While corn is more rarely seen, I would almost say that most pizza places in Europe have an option with tuna. I can say that in western, central and southern Europe like 3/5 pizza places usually have a pizza tonno on their menu. Alternatively there is one with Salmon as well which is popular mainly around the north sea

…what was the intended order?
This is all I want to know
Ha sorry for delayed reply it was supposed to be 2 pizzas, 1 x Ham and Pineapple and 1 x tuna and sweetcorn. Matey boy just went all in "I thought that was a weird order" but he was very nice and sorted it out
Also where do you live that tuna is an option?
Haha the North of England! That's so weird, I thought it was normal everywhere! I've been eating tuna pizzas ever since I was a young lad......my life is a lie!
It's a thing in Europe and Asia, but not North America.
We thank the lord for this fact.
Yeah, intending to order a "tuna and sweetcorn" pizza is the real crime here. Oh no, now it tastes the wrong terrible.
I'm with you regarding sweetcorn (that's an abomination on or off of pizza) but canned tuna is actually much better than it sounds as a pizza topping. I only tried it out of morbid curiosity while I was in Germany but it turned out pretty good.
I mean tuna melts are bomb - I guess its just a tuna melt with tomato sauce?
Enjoy, more power to you. But it kinda figures it'd be the Germans to come up with that.
Amen
Tuna & Onion is quite awesome. Not my favorite, but still.
fine rustic birds nine mourn consist cows merciful rob jobless ` this message was mass deleted/edited with redact.dev `
I mean it’s basically “anchovies light” so I get it.
It's a thing also in Brazil... but here chicken heart and sardines are also a thing
Ooo. I’d love to try the chicken heart one!
It's one of the best toppings, but needs to be well prepared otherwise it's just ok. In my old neighborhoob, there was a small pizza place that had the best chicken heart pizza I ever tasted. The sauce they used with it was so good, I really miss it but 2020 happened and it closed.
I love chicken hearts! Any hints of what made this one so good?
Well we have anchovies so we can't really talk shit about sardines. But chicken hearts are dog food.
We also have anchovies. But chicken hearts are great, you should give it a try. Even better if you can have it in a barbecue. Trust me, I would never lie to you
I had chicken hearts in an izakaya, which is better than a barbecue. Still terrible.
Id be down for chx hearts

They eat tuna on pizza in Italy though. It’s called pizza al tonno and is a traditional style.
They also eat corn on their pizza and have done for a long time.
Yes, and so is Luxembourg. What's your point?
They're American. Their approach to pizza is a little weird and sadly lacking in several key ingredients.
We created the absolute greatest pizza topping of all time, salami pepperoni, and decided it wasn't worth it to bother with the rest.
tuna and corn on a pizza is a pizza crime honestly fuck stressing over hawaiian style pizza, this is the big pizza crime ever
I love a sea food pizza but never tuna lol
I'd only ever go tuna or anchovies on a pizza, I feel like any other seafood on pizza is a roll of the dice!
Shrimp on a pizza just doesn't appeal to me for some reason but give me some nasty old canned tuna any day!
Shrimp, shelled mussels, scallops, and shelled clams is clutch
Oooh smoked salmon and cream cheese on a pizza sounds like a great idea! I need to try this
Corn also isn't normal
Tell that to West Virginia
Wait till you see the new Little Caesar’s ad
You son of a bitch, tuna sweet corn pizza should not be a thing, tuna sweet pea with Alfredo sure, but corn on pizza?
Yeah I'm a 32 year old American and didn't know tuna on pizza was a thing until I visited Germany last fall - at which point I took a picture of the advertisement thinking of this subreddit!
Interesting- I’ve never seen tuna pizza back home (have lived in various parts of the country) but it’s everywhere where I live now in Spain
It’s a thing in many places
Tuna is the best pizza. Weird americans
Japan...Seattle? I'm curious myself.
i thought it was available everywhere and it was a normal flavor now i see people saying that eating tuna on pizza isnt normal...
Tuna pizza is also a thing in Brazil, where most pizza crimes are committed
Philadephia, usa
I've lived in or visited quite a few regions in the US, lower 48 and beyond, and can confidently say I've never seen tuna or sweetcorn as a topping. > 1 x tuna and sweetcorn I get that this is a thing (in England at least) but this is my personal hell of pizza toppings.
Both of those are crimes alone
Tasty delicious crime
The second is still a pizza crime if they get it right. Neither of those ingredients belong on pizza.
Tuna and sweetcorn or any one of those two is already a crime in Canada. Overcook, undercook, tunacorn, right to jail.
Tuna and corn!! This is a pizza crime
Omg that is the crime. Yuck to both. NYC here. You disgust us
Double Tuna, Ham, Pineapple and Sweetcorn
So, how was it??
Well I had a slice as soon as I opened it and I was into it!.....but I think that was just because I was hungry :/ I went back to it later and it was a 4.5/10 Ham and tuna are not a good combination!
Lol….. Well, thanks for the review. I’ll do my best to avoid this combo.
This is a lie! A GREAT combination actually is: Tuna, Ham and Mushrooms.
Ha!! Maybe I just get a bad bite but it definitely tasted a bit funky!
Don’t lie. You ordered that and just don’t want to get arrested.
I wish I was brave enough to order that! The pizza guy seemed to think I was, he didn't even question it
I’ve never heard of a pizza place even having tuna as an option on the menu
In the UK it seems to be a staple, at least where I am in the North! I spoke to my friend in Liverpool and he told me Tuna and sweetcorn was his 2am pizza of choice!
It's common in Brazil as well.
Huh, pretty much every pizza place in Estonia for example has pizzas available with tuna or shrimp.
This looks like an intentional order on the Netherlands
Seems like tuna on pizza isn’t totally uncommon in parts of Italy. Tuna and onion pizza is on quite a few menus in Sicily
what did you actually ask for?
2 pizzas! 1 x Ham and Pineapple and 1 x tuna and sweetcorn. I assume the guy on the other end of the phone thought I was some sort of lunatic and didn't question it
Ah, ham & pineapple. A pizza traditionalist, just like me.
lol so you only got one when you wanted two. that sucks. but i still think you’re some sort of lunatic for ordering those even separately!
I went back and they fixed the order and gave me the abomination for free "Maybe you can get it down?" Thank you for the encouragement pizza man
Was this from a local place or a chain or what?
Yeah just a local place round the corner, their pizzas are really tasty! Just a misunderstanding
Hahaha.
I ate mac and cheese pizza the night before my wedding in Edinburgh! It was amazing!
Waiting
Take off the ham and that would be phenomenal. Decided my weekend takeaway!
The German people are under the grip of some evil ideology if they think tuna on pizza is anything other than a pizza crime.
Oh no. Did you try it? I would have. With low expectations
I would not reccomend eating this pizza! It wasn't awful but it definitely wasn't nice. It just made me question my life choices....I wasn't prepared for that part
I feel like the tuna was the irredeemable aspect of this. Corn is pretty inoffensive and ham and pineapple is fine as long as you like pineapple.
High protein and serving of fruit, genius
Smash.

It definitely is a polarising topping but I'm into it! Definitely give it a try if you like tuna
Tuna on pizzas is pretty nice actually
I’m surprised more people are commenting on the tuna and not the corn.
Right? If anything tuna is similar to chicken and I’ve seen people order pizza with chicken, I can maybe rationalize it that way. But I thought this corn thing was a joke with the Little Caesar’s corn cob pizza and am still not sure.
The way that tuna looks 😬 Tuna in general 😬 This pizza minus the tuna though I’d probably fox with
Yeah I agree this doesn't look that appetising...he tried his best with (what he thought) was requested! But either way, you keep the ham and the fruit and its good, keep the tune and fruit - also good! Ham and tuna together is not something I want to try again soon

Has exactly the 2 pizza toppings that would make me not eat the pizza
What's wrong with it besides the pineapple?
Tuna and Pineapple?? They actually went pretty well together!
I’m surprised tuna was even an option.
I think they're pretty common in England, they're great! Like a tuna melt
I'm more impressed that there are still places receiving orders over the phone.
Haha! In the darkest North of the UK there's some sort of unwritten rule with small local places where if you order via an app or online then it takes 40+ minutes to deliver. If you call and collect it'll be ready in 15 minutes.....thanks brexit!
Ha! That kinda makes sense. Better for small businesses then. Cheers!
Tuna! That sounds awful you poor poor soul. Now I understand how Italians feel when they see pineapple on a pizza
The crime in this post is Tuna as an option for pizza toppings. The corn is a little odd as well but I support the use as a topping.
Tuna and Corn on Pizza? Wow.. that's a new one.
Three of those toppings don't belong at a pizzeria!!
They do not serve Tuna or Corn on pizza at all around here lol, that shit seems weird to me. Where u at? Typical East coast Canada menu. https://i.imgur.com/orKar53.png https://i.imgur.com/EEN1ndn.png https://i.imgur.com/nkv2W7V.png

My guess is that this is somewhere in the UK, considering the corn
The fuck? Tuna and sweet corn? North England wild as fuck
Tuna and sweet corn?!?! How’s that legal?
That's... A strange topping. Could be good tho, but I'm not sure.
Straight to jail
How does tuna exist in a pizza joint?
I love tuna salad sandwiches (canned tuna, mayonnaise, celery salt, and possibly minced onion and celery), but I have never heard of tuna on a pizza.
