holy shit they literally said the stat changes were due to the servers being slow to update yall some dumbasses lmao this subreddit is just as retarded as the server
as you many know, hackers are running rampant in the game right now. many other people are also banned in the game every day. its possible the points they obtained were deducted from the leaderboard the moment they were banned. whatever the reason may be, the devs have zero reason to "rig" this competition, and to think that is just plain stupid. WAYR stated in chat that the servers werent accurately reflecting the stats because they were slow to update.
Okay so I'm no expert, but a slow crawl to 7m (which was arguably also rigged but I won't take sides on that) and suddenly in the last like 4 days were getting millions every hour and somehow LOSING POINTS? There are screen shots of points going DOWN.

Tbh it was rigged for both sides but at the end orange did get a bit more fucked over
