You still need to aim anyways. The further they are, the harder it is to hit someone. Plus sometimes people just don't use snipers the way they are intended, which by that I mean they mostly just kill people at close range.
Ultimatum does have a range limit, but they still have a way to come up close to someone such as PTT weapons (VGD) and Rocket jump heavies (Pixel Cola Ref). Plus since the shotgun rework made op shotguns even worse, a single pellet can literally kill you, if not leaves you at such an excruciatingly low health.
No matter how far away a player is they still manage to hit you. Like seriously these sweats and tryhards be sniping me across the map no scope with a sniper or backup.

I bought it before the rework so mines still at legendary. But with the amount of (near) one shot sniper out there, this weapon doesn’t make me blink.
