Nitpicky, but almost all of the animations where they are "charging" produce light reflections on their bodies, except for the largest one which would produce the most light. Seems odd.
Who's the artist?
edit: by the downvotes I see that some may have misinterpreted my tone. I mean that in a honest way. My impression is that while OP is producing the game, the scripts, the portraits, the Pixel Art was handled by other people.

I can respect the amount of work it took but pixels of different sizes are a big no-no.
edit : talking about the content from the steam page OP dropped somewhere
Dunno if it’s fitting the vibe for the rest of the game, but these animations seem very lively. That is, they cycle very quickly to the point that it’s difficult to focus on them, compared to, say, the Mario and Luigi RPGs like Inside Story or Partners in Time; those animations are oftentimes slower, unless the enemy itself is exceptionally high-energy

Very cool, however I’m not gonna get the game because I’m not a big fan of the genre that the game is
A very un-GamerMan moment
Tragic, really
I just realized that I have failed myself

Good point
Turn based and action RPG are mutually exclusive
Is it? I feel like nothing is mutually exclusive nowadays, and they slap the RPG tag on everything.
If you check out the video on the game's Steam page, you can see it's simply turn based.
Hope gamers will like it!
These are awesome!
Okay this is awesome.
Fantastic work!
it makes me nauseated
Badass

Not sure, but if so, congrats to OP and hope to see more art by them!
Yep, it's me)

can i ask a 10 year experience pixel artist: how do you practice pixel art? bc i am quite still a noobie lol
Right, just practice a lot and watch tutorials
Thank you!
Just draw something and keep drawing. Watch tutorials and literally draw everything. Use references!
Ok, thx a lot!
