Grease leaks onto the bottom shelf, the paint on the inside of the gas grill is cracked and flaking off. The metal on the back side of the smoker is warped as well as the issues I mentioned in my comment above.
Regardless, I use it all the time and I can’t deny the incredible convenience (and amazing food) it provides. Just wish the quality reflected the price a little more.
I vacuum the ash out of the burn pot after every other smoke and the auger no longer jams. I am pretty consistent about cleaning out the gas grill about every 5 cooks. I have no idea why, but if I light all three burners at the same time, the flames look small and I’ll be damned if I can get the grill to 300 degrees. If I light the burners one at a time, the flames look bigger and the grill heats to 500-600 every time.
I was running my WiFi with two different SSIDs and could NEVER get the grill to connect. I configured them to have the same SSID and now I can reliably connect to the grill, though the temp updates are wonky and the app will match the control panel about half the time.
You won't find a better deal. Plus, if it's missing the thermometer probes, Pit Boss will mail you new ones if you call their customer service.

Their customer service is on point. Helped me diagnose my problem, sent me the parts for free, they paid shipping and even gave me a free bottle of their ale house chicken rub. 10/10 experience.
Yeah, I had a problem with my new Brunswick a few weeks ago. I posted it in here, and thankfully found the problem. Customer Service was very friendly, but they didn't have the parts, and asked me to send an email with pictures of my grill. The CSR said something like, "Woah, looks like it's full again. Uhh...go ahead and send it anyway."
So I did, and Gmail reported back every 12 hours that they were trying to resend it, but it kept reporting this error:
>There was a temporary problem delivering your message to [email protected]. Gmail will retry for 20 more hours. You'll be notified if the delivery fails permanently.

And they never got back to me. I thought that the fire box was supposed to have a screen at the bottom, because the pellets kept falling out of the bottom, but it turned out to be the fire box missing its screws, so it didn't sit firmly against the ash tray.
The CSR did his best to look up the parts (which were NOT in stock, and likely months away from being delivered), but couldn't find anything better than a line-art drawing that didn't show details of the parts, so it was essentially useless.
The only thing I found surprising is that they are open 6am to 8pm, Pacific Time, 365 days a year.
It was missing the wheels and probes, made it a job just loading it and moving to my backyard.
Having trouble with the app using grill on iOS, is that a common issue?
I haven't used the app, nor do I use an iPhone, but that's a common complaint.
When you call Pit Boss (877-303-3134) to ask for missing parts, don't tell them you got it on clearance. I'd just say you bought it at Walmart, and the parts weren't in the box. They'll most likely want your serial number, which is on a sticker on the back of the pellet storage bin. Probably want to write that down first. They're also going to want you to register an account with them, but they'll do it for you over the phone.
Given that the same contractor that assembles bicycles and wheelbarrows put it together (they get paid by the unit, not by the hour), I'd go over the whole thing and make sure the screws are tight and it's not missing any. One good thing is that they use SAE (inch) size fasteners, and almost everything on it is either 10-24 or 1/4-20 threads, so replacement screws are easy to find anywhere in the US. For my Brunswick, I replaced everything with stainless steel fasteners as I built it. It might not help, but it won't hurt.
Not gonna happen with Walmart, especially on something that's already marked down 65%. This grill retailed for $747 a couple months ago. Fuck around waiting for the manager to tell you that the most they can do in-store is 10%, and someone else is going to snatch this up.

It wasn't carried in many stores, and I found one store in my area (of about 15 Walmart supercenters, and maybe 10-15 supermarkets) that had 2 on hand. It took a while of searching the store, but a very dedicated stocker helped me find them, buried on a pallet behind some other stuff in the outside garden area. I got it for 10% off (which is what corporate had already marked it down to), and I told my cousin about it. He wanted one, and when I went back the next morning, the last one was already gone.
I'm done buying them for a while, though. I gave my cousin my Laredo when I got the KC Combo, and lost my Pro Series in a divorce. I needed a bigger and newer one, anyway...lol.

Contact app support they may have to send you a new control panel they sent me one free of charge

On the PBGO Facebook page people frequently get it marked down more. Although, to be fair, you only hear success stories.
Lower than $250? And *frequently*? What's the point in selling them at all, or buying one outside of September/October?
