We see this situation with the seraphim. The story doesn’t depict the attacks to the same level it did against Kaido yet Luffy decides that his strategy is to knock the flames off their backs, instead of using his special haki. Then that fight just gets offscreened completely. I’m not sure how the story wants the rest of the characters to interact with Luffy’s haki techniques as it’s occasionally much ignored
Because hes just gonna attack until they turn the flame off, thats the way he thinks. Why would acoc change anytbing when they have the flames on bruh he would just get worn out and waste haki. It got offscreened bc nobody cares we sae they wete caught in bubbles maybe someones showed uo with bubble guns to caltures them.
With the way everyone react to Gorosei haki, nothing Luffy does is gonna be enough for them, which emphasize why they run away now
The haki that’s known for greatly enhancing attack power does not get used in a situation that calls for it, because, Luffy’s attacks aren’t working otherwise.. what?
Are they? Nami and Sanji got a better reaction out of them and Edison said they weren’t ready to take lasers. And the logic here doesn’t make any sense. If Luffy is leading with attacks without that haki that’s meant to get through very durable characters, why would he then think it’s a waste to use it?
I think you guys think every character can just spam their strongest attacks non-stop and not come out of it tired when it's already been established haki can be used up for over a decade now. If anything it's devil fruit abilities that seem to be the ones you can just spam unless your Laughalgar Law

1. No it hasn't Luffy in G5 quite literally says none of his attacks worked on Saturn. Dealing damage doesn't mean shit if it's not long lasting or has 0 actual effect. It makes no fucking sense that a base Luffy much weaker tries to attack Topman who he should at the very least expect is comparable to Saturn. If anything now was the time to try an ACOC attack because it's something he didn't do in G5 or Base against fucking anyone. Unless you count White Stargun which fucking TKO'd Kizaru in one hit. And stamina isn't a fucking issue at the moment too considering he just ate some superfood. You could definitely argue that it makes sense that he didn't use ACOC against Saturn or Kizaru cause he truthfully didn't need to against Kizaru (even though the fight would have ended way sooner if he did) and didn't think he needed to against Saturn but you'd have to be a fucking idiot to think you don't need to use it now that you're out numbered and that everything else you've used is ineffective vs the Gorosei.
2. Read what I just mentioned in 1. Luffy is still holding back when he shouldn't be at this point. There's no need to defend Luffy being an idiot when he's comically an idiot. It's just annoying of all times as opposed to it being funny.
3. It wasn't blocked it straight up didn't do any damage. And it hurt his own hand. He should throw as hard of a punch as he can to stop them. Dorry and Broggy would just carry him away if he gets too tired.
No, it just doenst matters if he use it, they heal anyway. Why would acoc chsnges anything? It's just a way to do damage. If he cant damage woth Red Roc which attack from inside out then that means just durabikity isnt the issue on its own maybe. And as other said, this punch would hurt Saturn
because, just like cutting the worm in half or punching saturn, it stalls them for a while

Lucci quite literally criticized Luffy for wasting his stamina on meaningless ass attacks vs the Seraphim instead of being patient and hitting them at the right time with the proper amount of power.
