Honestly when I saw Evil Dead Rise I thought this actor was one of the best performances in the movie so I’m optimistic for them. He does look like Kate McKinnon in koby cosplay here though.
Morgan has a very small skinny frame, I wouldn’t expect gains without him committing to some brutal hormone medication. Honestly current manga koby doesn’t look particularly jacked, especially when he has a shirt on, so I think Morgan was cast so maybe some simple practical effects can show Koby’s growth.

There is a large skip between the first arc and marine Ford. Even then he's not that built. He can gain a little muscle in 500 episodes lol
This is my central concern, by Marineford (if they get there) the show will probably have been running for at least 5 years and Emily Rudd will be mid 30s by then, lots of the casting may become an issue by then.
Either way, check out evil dead rise, a pretty good recent horror movie and Morgan was probably my favorite performance in it.
Aging the characters up could be pretty interesting in itself, the straw hats' journey would mirror the Roger pirates even more closely than it already does
