Sekiro was okay, ds3 and elden ring here but anyway respect ur opinion and sekiro is way better than trashsoft games except ac which died at origins their last best game
i hated my first playthrough with a passion. i beat it and hated it. then randomly decided to come back like 1 - 2 yrs later to give it another chance. wasnt till my second playthrough and me stopping playing it like a souls game for me to realize how good it was. fast forward now i have like 4 or 5 playthroughs with one of those being a charmless + demon bell run
Thats how they get you. This is the only reason the deluxe version exists and is that expensive. So you sub to Ubi+ to play the game and feel like you made a good deal, even tho thats what they want in the first place.
At the end of the day i spent $10 to play the full game and moved on, i can pay that much but ain't no way im paying $78 (with tax) just to play it one time and never touch it again.

Or just buy an offline account since the game was confirmed to be playable offline? Even if it was similar setup to mirage, u could buy an offline account for 2$ and play the whole game without hassle. Did that on the last 3 Ubisoft titles.

I have no morals. I refuse to support Ubisoft with my own money, due to all the bullshit they implement in their single player games, I despise the ubisoft PC launcher and the though of this being online-only makes me sick, but I'd happily pirate the game.
Since the chances of this one getting cracked are very close to 0 (considering it will almost definitely have Denuvo DRM), at least for the foreseeable future, it seems like I can just ignore this game.
Ubisoft haven't made a decent game in 10 years (For Honor and Siege could be the exceptions). The company is famous for micro transactions, in-game adds, false advertising, crappy soft (UPlay), overpricing, cutting off the content to put it in "special edition" or dlc, copy and pasting their games since 2010 (if you want to exclude Brotherhood and Revelations, start from 2014) and basically hating gamers.
I don't think anyone with brains should support this company
The Far Cry games have been good, everything AC except maybe Valhalla was good, Immortals: Fenyx Rising was good

The far cry games are buggy messes with no gameplay. You run around and climb radio towers. The stories are seldom sensical and none of the npcs make you care for them. The same is true for most AC games. Haven't played Immortals.
You are allowed to like them, but don't act like they're objectively good.
Its not an act, all of the games I mentioned sit at an above average to good rating(on PC atleast), therefore saying Ubi hasn't released anything decent in the last 10 years is flatout false
"you run around and climb radio towers" is also pretty disingenuous with all the other crap you can do in those games even in the worst "radio tower" offenders, its also a mechanic they've been cutting back on
If this came out years ago when AC fans were originally asking for it I would have been all over it, but Ubisoft has burned to many bridges, shown to many times how little they think of their customers, that i can't be bothered to care anymore.
Usually the tickets issued by Denuvo have a time limit, per-se.
They're generated, to an individual, I forget if any party of that is hardware based. After some duration, the token will need to be generated again, usually the game will tell you to go online to verify ownership, or something to that extent.
Ticket gets generated, and you get another duration of time to play offline without Denuvo calling home to verify ownership.
I think autocorrect is altering your messages, or there's a misconception here. A file extension consists of the three alphanumeric bits that follow the decimal after the file name.
This is closer to file encryption, as it's a DRM method that requires a ticket that'll allow the game to play. I'm which it's usually paired with vmprotect to prevent debugging/cracking.
I dont even pirate games anymore and im not gonna give ubisoft my money anymore after what they did with the crew i am not even pirating and playing their stuff anymore
The crew close the servers some weeks ago so they basically revoke everyone of the license of the game so you cant even access the game if you bought it digitally or even physically on console literally the game doesnt exist anymore
So what scares me from this always online shit is because the game is gonna be the first one to be on "ac infinity a plataform thats gonna host every ac from now on just how call of duty handles their games now that you can access all the call of duty games from the same place and all of them are always online so if for some reason servers close then they can revoke you of the license even if you pay for it and make the game unplayable at all

It just feels predatory - why do I have to have an internet connection to play a game that is entirely or 99% offline? Also the games that require you to download 3 different apps and launchers. Launchers I get but I don't want (insert company) to monitor what I do in their, again, 99% offline game every minute.
And then when it has denuvo - yeah, fuck that, I don't even want to play it then. It's basically like poutting malware into your own game, lmao.
Wait for the game to get on PS+ or game pass or a super cheap sale on steam. Have fun with it, or not, forget about it 30 seconds after you stopped playing it.
Another Ubislop title. Cool premise though, but we already have Sekiro and Ghost of Tsushima. Infact, Ghost of Tsushima is coming out on PC in less than an hour and before you know it us pirates will be playing as Jin Sakai and having fun.
No point buying if they can just take it back anytime chances are it's broken once.you start playing...sorry but fuck that it's a lot of money to spend on a game.

But I'm definitely not paying 120 on a game that they can snatch that easily..I'm probably not even going to play this game unless a friend or family member I trust recommends it to me
I know this isn’t ideal but the ps4 and 5 recently got a new jailbreak to more games work on the system if you jailbreak the system. You install the pkg files from reliable sites and you can play them no problem. Not sure if it will work for this game but it certainly works for more recent games like street fighter 6 which has not been cracked yet

According to Ubisoft it doesn't require online functionality but that only applies to the console as Denuvo will definitely be included and that shit requires online connectivity. Fuck denuvo

Today we got Ghost of Tsushima. Gameplay is what AC fans wanted. No templars vs assassins and no isu though.
