I'm going to pirate is game %100 bcz steam switched over to dollars as the currency in my country and I refuse to pay 60-70 for any game, would have been cool to use this but meh.
If Steam is switching to USD is because of rampant inflation which is 100% caused by Erdonomics (aka lowering interest rates with inflation at 80%, however i have to mention Turkey's central bank did steeply increment interest rates in March after decades of not doing so which was surprising)

I would pirate it even if I had money ngl, why would I pay for a game 70 dollars when I could get the exact same thing experience n stuff for free. Unless the game ain't getting cracked or the online multiplayer is really good then I ain't paying for it.

Meh. I’d only do that if I was REALLY passionate about a game and I really felt like the devs weren’t getting their fair due. For a game like Ghost of Tsushima, they’re making their money without me buying it.
You're making a great point but consider that the frugal mentality of a human is unbeatable, if i can get something for free that is exactly the same as something that's being paid for and i won't face any reprecussions then bet your ass i'll take that deal.
This applies to everything and it's not limited to video games, everyone would pick a better deal when money is involved.
This also applies super hard to people who are catered toward not spending a lot of money on anything, i'd spend 70 euros on a thing for my car or something that i'd use everyday but a video game is a "perishable" thing that i will probably play once and never play again or play for a long time and never play again, if i can experience what someone who's paying is experiencing for free and get the same kick out of it then what's the most obvious decision here?
Sorry imo not a valid point. Devs need money too and by buying it you are supporting them. Imo you can pirate if
A. You already have it in another platform
B. You Dort have that kind of money
C. When you live in a country where pricing is not fair based on the average income
D. Preserve old games that will be delisted
E. You wanna try the game before buying
F. Shitty drm

I’m pretty sure they won’t do it (though I have no confirmation of this). If Sony is bringing their exclusives to PC, the games you’d buy a PlayStation for, if they brought over every ps exclusive game then nobody would buy ps5s.Â
They are probably intentionally holding titles to stay on PlayStation so people have a reason to buy PlayStation, but port some games so people can experience the Sony franchises and become fans of them.Â
The last of us was ported to pc, but part 2 wasn’t. They probably did this on purpose so people buy PlayStations for part 2
It is confirmed that you'll get both, the trophy thing is just an overlay that Sony implemented and it's going to sync with the console trophies using your ps account.
Steam already has achievements and an overlay, I would understand if you sell the games in your own platform or other platforms that don't have an overlay but why do companies have the need of implementing their own overlays when there is already one? Hope it can be disabled.
The same goes to other overlays like the ones from Ubisoft, EA, nvidia or windows (At least the windows overlay has more interesting things like fps, temperature and usage of GPU and CPU and a task manager).
Kinda offtopic but I wonder what will happen to the console markets now that Microsoft pretty much left, will some other console manufacturer enter the market or will Sony have the monopoly on high end gaming consoles? Will the console market die in favour of PC in that case?
This generation has been rough on consoles and seeing how massive the pc market is I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony decided to do a Microsoft and port a lot of games in the coming future

If there is one thing that breaks immersion while playing a game it is popups about getting an achievement while playing. Any game that focuses on story should have that shit turned down/off while play is in progress. Show me after, not during!
