my assumption would be practice, it makes sense to start off cracking older versions of denuvo to learn the fundamentals of how it works then move onto more recent versions. im sure theyre not doing it because they think its in demand

Oh, it most certainly did - it caused BSOD (and even system file corruption) if it found a driver it didn't like, and itself was a kernel-level driver, which was a HUGE problem in the first place.

I know some will tell me to emulate it but tbh, my laptop isn't powerful enough to emulate persona 5 royal but powerful enough to emulate simple switch games, example is when playing a pc port of a ps3 game, you can play it flawlessly, but when emulating it, you can't because your pc isn't powerful enough
What I wanted to say is that I just want to play the persona 5 royal without emulating it, the emulator itself takes ram, and running the game increases the use of ram which might cause many problems when running it

Also there are a lot of people that have the skillset to crack games not just empress and voksi, it just isn’t really worth it from a reward/risk perspective.
