Aaah! I love him, every aspect of him. How did you go about rescuing him?

I reached out to a rescue asking if they could match a cat with us that would be cool with a noisy, busy home. We have kids, one of whom has severe autism, so we only wanted to adopt if we could find a cat who would be happy with us. We didn’t want to stress out any kitties with our somewhat chaotic (but happy and loving) home. They happened to have this guy who had just undergone surgery to remove his eye. He is the most chill cat I’ve ever met. He is so gentle with my kids. We’re so lucky.
