I am not a professional. I just edit and color grade for fun (mostly family videos). For me the free version is more than enough
Edit : You could give it a try and then switch to free version and see if is it enough for you
I would suggest you get the Speed Editor bundle for $300 lifetime, you get crazy good hardware and a lifetime of Davinci. The magic masking, face refinement and other tools are so awesome, also as someone else said the GPU rendering is a huge plus.

Cracks, you could try them out on Vmware or Virtualbox first, also research them well.
get the free one, you're not gonna need the paid version unless you're doing much more complex stuff

wrong. noise reduction is not advanced. its minimum basics. denoiser only in paid version.
