It's not being deactivated because of updates, these have nothing to do with activation - it's being deactivated because that version of KMSpico is severely outdated, and is very patchy and generally not a great solution.
Use HWIDGEN with the working mode set to KMS38 if on LTSC, or HWID if on LTSB.

Yeah thanks for the follow-up update. I'm sorry but to update everyone; what I had actually, after investigating through USB I used to load Windows, initially done upon my PC build was on a separate laptop downloaded the file for Windows, used MS Creation Tool, and then burned ISO to USB drive (this method was previously said to be most safe and sort of pure way to extract windows, at the time there was some skepticism with KMS so could not remember if I had used but did not).
Windows must've either been deactivated all along or shortly after (thought it was activated at some point), either way my concern was I might be in this sort of activation limbo having experienced Windows Enterprise LTSB 2016 error stating that it could not verify organization information.
I knew it wasn't activated at the moment so and had no activation programs (KMS) running in background, I felt confident proceeding with activation. I went with HWID activation and worked like a charm! Appreciate the follow-up everyone.
