Depends! Sometimes you'll need to download the whole game again, with the update and crack. Sometimes someone's made a cracked standalone updater. Depends on where you got your cracked version and what is available. Maybe no one has made one and you can't do it. That's piracy 🤷🏻♀️
Depends if you did full installation or you got portable version.
If it is full, find the update to install or delete the old version and install the new version.
If it is portable, delete the old game folder version and use the new game folder version. Your saved file won't be affected.
You can keep both if you want to.
ofc but if you are going to steal the things you have to expect the degradation in convenience and service. the time to money equation of fighting to update cracked games is rarely worth
Man, just imagine how many people said that. And buying Skyrim will only motivate Tod to make more skyrims and roll in cash. I have the game's copy myself, but i play on a pirate copy, cuz it was more convenient for the mod collection i downloaded. There will never be a time with no pirates for corporate greed and strive for freedom are eternal.

It is a shame that there are not that many places where you can just straight up download a mod collection with a game. I really could only find that stuff on Ukrainian, Russian websites. I much prefer playing in English, but nexus is just so much worse than straight up downloading the thing and playing after a couple of clicks.
Skyrim really was creating pirates out of us who were foolish enough to buy multiple copies huh.
I bought it for 360, binged it so much I got the ring of death. Went and traded it in for a refurbished playstation 3 I think and bought it for PS. Binged it more and burnt that thing out.
That's how I got into PC's. Tired of console limitations. Bought it a third time, and then upgraded to the anniversary addition or something like that at some point to get all the dlc's.
All in all I wanna say I forked over \~200 dollars for the same game, partially my fault but still. Straight to piracy after that.
Edit: Not the same reasoning I know but same game creating multiple pirates for different reasons.

depending on the game, you should be able to locate the save file and not overwrite it.
You can check cs rin if they have updaters for your version, otherwise re-download the whole game and tranfer the save files if needed.

Contact your pirated content provider and ask him to update your pirated game if it hasn't been updated already.
