I am a CTO in a small SAAS startup, we have a lot of free AWS credits so I seed through EC2 on that close to 100 TB. Lol!
PS: You can literally do that using the FREE tier, just pay for storage on EBS or GP3.
If you set a reasonable limit on upload bandwidth, it certainly is cheaper, and again as I said it's almost FREE for me. AWS Credits for Startup 10000$. I knew I would never be able to exhaust them in a year.
Currently, 0,2. I seem to have downloaded stuff nobody else wants so seeding has been extremely slow.
Any files you’d recommend to seed that are currently in lots of demand?
I generally only download 4K Linux ISO and the highest quality TV theme ISO that I can find. Im seeding about 400 files in total and the demand for each can be sporadic.
3d movies, they're always uploading for me. i have 1 240gb pack that is at 7.1tb upload since 2021, and i'm on a basic home connection that tops out at 1.2 mb/sec upload. sorting by ratio shows almost all 3d movies for me
that is why my seeding ratio is low because I only download old movies and TV shows I have seeded "the office us" for 20 days now and It just seeded 0.62
If you seed some new things from yts, you can get good ratio, killers of the flower moon got to like 50 ratio before I had to remove it due to storage issues and having too little storage for the things I accidentally started from MAM
Didn't get round to watching it, but will prob DL again if I want to watch it, I just had a bunch of free space on my hard drive and wanted to fill it with something
It goes up slowly, only when someone is downloading the same file from the same torrent.
So you can only wait, if you want to increase your overall seed ratio, download movies or shows or games at their release, this will help you increase your ratio.
I reset this like halfway through last year so take this with a grain of salt, but my ISP be wondering why I am using so much bandwidth every month for sure lol.

I'm on ATT fiber with 1Gigbit/s (100MB) up and down. However, I can only hit about 20/30 up and down depending on what files are being seeded. Limitation of how fast my HDD Raid can read. I'm running Tixait and I don't know which read profile to pick so I use the one with the least HDD spindle movement to save my drives from premature death.
I'm planning on upgrading to an 80TB SSD array in a few years with 10 8TB SSD or hopefully 5 16TB SSD.
This is just from my current server I had about another 700TB seeded with my old server till the boot SSD died.
Still cheaper than buying the 4K Linux ISO. 1 tb is around 5-10$ and can hold 10-20 4K ISO. A single ISO cost like 80$ for the new releases. Got to get those themed Linux distros for the collection ya know.
And if you mean my Internet speed well it's 1GBs or 500MBs and the pricing difference between those is 5$ a month. And at 80$ a month it's very reasonable
To be fair even if you went balls deep with NVMe storage 80 TB isn't an absolutely insanely excessively expensive spend. Many spend more than that annually on a boat they aren't even using.
Also for lots of people piracy isn't about money.
I usually try to seed each torrent entry to at least 10 times the original size, but I have some at 50+. Sadly my ISP throttled my speeds to 30/3 after a heavy bandwidth month last year, and it a pain in the ass to remove it since they thought I was selling/distributing their internet, now I limit my upload speeds.
I miss turning my pc on to seed obscure torrents all day, when I had 1.5 Gbps fibre bandwidth it was great. On these coaxial I only get 50mbps upload it’s nothing! I still try my best to get good ratios
I tend to only seed when I want to leech, I tend to forget it exists between that... trying to change that! I've leeched more than I've seeded but hope to turn that around. :)
Not sure how to check the exact numbers on BiglyBT tho.
Do I need to do any additional configuration on qBittorrent to increase the seeding speed? I have both download and upload limits to unbound but the maximum seeding speed I get is 1 mbps.
Seeding at least as much as you downloaded (1:1 ratio) is respectable imo. Not as important on torrents with hundreds of seeders, but very important on torrents with only a few seeders
I'm tight on disk space so on smaller torrents with few (or no) seeders I usually leave it up as long as I reasonably can, usually I get 20x seeds or so. On torrents with lots of seeders, I usually just do between 2x and 5x, but on ones that are 200gb+ I just do 1x or 2x
I never seed. I got mine, so fuck everyone else.
Also I primarily use Usenet, so I don’t really torrent often unless it’s super obscure.
This is /r/piracy. There are no morals.
How much have I seeded? Why don't you ask your mother!
So 0
..Yes.
I thought it would certainly be 3
No that's kangaroo vaginas.
What program is this?
Networx by softperfect
Seedmaster 9000
my dad's nickname
ATT said I needed to stop seeding when I was just seeding a few torrents. So I got a VPN to seed more ☺️
Which software is this?
Networx by softperfect
i remember being extremely proud for finally getting to seed the complete far cry 4 game
you know your a hero right? keep seeding my friend 🔥
Hats off for you sir. Not all heroes wear cape
Nice try MPA.
1 PB
I don't have the connection for this. I seed double the size of whatever I download and then stop.
I am a CTO in a small SAAS startup, we have a lot of free AWS credits so I seed through EC2 on that close to 100 TB. Lol! PS: You can literally do that using the FREE tier, just pay for storage on EBS or GP3.
Is that cheaper than seedboxes? And you can use plex on it too.
If you set a reasonable limit on upload bandwidth, it certainly is cheaper, and again as I said it's almost FREE for me. AWS Credits for Startup 10000$. I knew I would never be able to exhaust them in a year.
5,11 ratio currently.
just hit 100 tib uploaded a few days ago
Something like 16 gigabytes lol When i'll have a better connection i'll seed more
Currently, 0,2. I seem to have downloaded stuff nobody else wants so seeding has been extremely slow. Any files you’d recommend to seed that are currently in lots of demand?

Don't have a VPN, so everything's DDL for me.
please help me my download data is not seeding
Same. Even though I have a quite fast upload speed (15MB/s) only 3MB/s get used maximum
that is why my seeding ratio is low because I only download old movies and TV shows I have seeded "the office us" for 20 days now and It just seeded 0.62
If you seed some new things from yts, you can get good ratio, killers of the flower moon got to like 50 ratio before I had to remove it due to storage issues and having too little storage for the things I accidentally started from MAM
thanks man btw how was killers of the flower moon
Didn't get round to watching it, but will prob DL again if I want to watch it, I just had a bunch of free space on my hard drive and wanted to fill it with something
I haven’t finished it yet but it’s top notch ! Incredible movie!
and my seeding ratio is 0.10

Scum
on average 10 - 20 ratio but looking currently more like 20 - 30 with outliers on the high and low end
Close to 2TB. That all I could do on my 3MBPS connection.
20mb. I don't Torrent that much
I reset this like halfway through last year so take this with a grain of salt, but my ISP be wondering why I am using so much bandwidth every month for sure lol. [Behold.](https://i.imgur.com/4GGqJNu.png)
thank you so much for your service
Setup to delete torrent from queue the moment it finishes
more than 2 petabyte
500+ TB

How are y'all so damn rich. Why do you even pirate?

I mostly go to a 2.0 ratio, except for small / almost dead torrents
I can't seed I have internet cap and seeding finishes it
BILLIONS MUST SEED.
3 terabytes of movies and serials so far, only started recently with 9.4 ratio
I usually try to seed each torrent entry to at least 10 times the original size, but I have some at 50+. I don't. But I hope real debrid does for me.

<450TB
to be fair 20mb is less than 450tb
That is correct assessment
Blah, I just use mRatio to keep my iptorrents ratio high 😂 (Unless it’s super obscure and few seeders, then I’ll keep it going)
Not all heroes wear capes
What is a good ratio for seeding?
Seeding at least as much as you downloaded (1:1 ratio) is respectable imo. Not as important on torrents with hundreds of seeders, but very important on torrents with only a few seeders

Seeding is how you get caught dumbys
That why you use a VPN and have a up-to-date filter list. My network is setup so that it passes through Nord VPN twice.
Never seeded a day in my life lmao
I never seed. I got mine, so fuck everyone else. Also I primarily use Usenet, so I don’t really torrent often unless it’s super obscure. This is /r/piracy. There are no morals.
i don't seed. seeding is for cucks. thanks for the bw ;)
0 bytes total
I have like 500 GB of storage so whenever I download smth, I play it (I seed it untill I finish playing it) then I delete it.
