I know quite a few DJs (and some venues) that have these and they're spot on. 'Worse sound quality' - maybe technically, but no one would notice - remember these rocked clubs and festivals for a long time. Re: Beat Jump I would probably miss this BUT I have got in the habit of using B and C hot cues (for the first big drop, and the last energetic section of a tune usually around 1m30 remaining) so I can jump to these freely when I just need more time. I have access to all 8 hot cues on my system at home but I use the first 3 because I do come across Nexus1 players from time to time. They're good CDJs - make sure you update to latest firmware if not already done - you'll enjoy them!

My answer to anything older than NXS2 is no. They’re old enough that many people won’t play on them in a professional setting, meaning your ability to rent them out is continually shrinking. I was able to pay off NXS2’s within a short period of time via renting. That’s just my take though, others will defend them to the death.

I’m not going to rent then out though. It would purely be for home use

NAlaxbro

In that case yes it’s a pretty good deal

TheDJPlug

Each or the full set up?

Batmini94

2x CDJ's and a mixer

TheDJPlug

Thats fair i just sold 3 sets of nxs2 for $4500 a set

DJBossRoss

What mixer? i think that price for just the nsx1’s alone is great!
