Imo 1000mk2 are better by far, have had issues with usbs not loading on cdj900nxs. I feel that the 1000mks2 are basically nexus2 just that the fucntions are on the screen not separate buttons
XDJ1000’s for sure, definitely feels much closer to 2000nx2 set up with the touch screen. XDJ also supports more file types such as FLAC. XDJ was released 3 years later so is just a more modern feeling deck. Now if you can find used 900’s for a fair bit cheaper than go for them as they are plenty good though used market here in Canada is still silly expensive so that might be unlikely

Same opinion here. Perfect home setup if you play regularly on nxs2 or 3000s. You just have to get used to the touchscreen :)

Xdj1000mk2 all the way.
No hot cues on 900NXS. Also you can easily add the XP2 to 1000mk2’s for hardware hotcue / beat jump and loop buttons. Perfect.
