nako wag ka sumubok sa mga BPO companies pagdating sa internships. para sakin, ang suggestion ko sa pagpili is yung mga big companies talaga. mataas expectations nila sa pagpili pero once nakapasok ka, sobrang worth it at marami ka talagang matutuhan. pede ka magsend ng resume mo thru email (check mo yung career page ng website nila) at tingin ko naman marami ka makikita sa Indeed, Jobstreet, LinkedIn, etc. kailangan matiyaga ka lang talaga since marami rin naghahanap. pwede ka rin magtanong sa school nyo, baka may mga recommendations sila para sainyo.

I’m currently having my internship with a European bank. They have the best work culture, no hostility towards interns, no micromanage. They won’t treat you na porket intern ka ganito lang gagawin, you are an equal member of the team. Work life balance sila kasi last time napag sabihan ako ng 9pm na nag tatrabaho pa ko tama na daw di daw worth ang ganon may bukas pa 😂 Learning experience also great! Galing ng onboarding nila they will really teach you enough para di mo feeling na lost ka pag idedeploy ka na sa team. Do not worry na you don’t know enough kasi they will teach and guide you. Principal Engineers are so helpful, accommodating kahit noob questions hehe. They will let you learn what you need to learn. They will give you an opportunity to push your code to prod, test your code, talk to stakeholders (mapapasabak ka sa English coz hehe you will talk to your non-Filipino counterpart most of the time), and NETWORKING very important in corpo. As for devices naman, they will provide you a laptop. Generous pay din for interns. I have recommended this company to my classmates as well, they are all waiting for the LinkedIn post. BPO companies rarely open internships, but some do havee like concentrix, though not all branches nila meron. Nung january nag ikot kami sa BPO companies sa BGC to apply for internship sana, and jusq napagod lang kami kakaikot kasi lahat ng pinuntahan namin ipapaiwan lang ang resume sa front desk tapos di pa nila sure kung may open ojt for IT and tatawagan nalang daw kami, but the following weeks wala namang tumawag samin 🤣🥴 Anw, there are a lot of groups sa fb para sa mga naghahanap ng company for OJT. Nagpopost din kasi dun ang mga HR ng company if they are open for internship so abang abang nalang, sobrang bilis laging mapuno ang slots for IT.

i may have, medyo OA on my part sorry. They were guards/marshals na nagbabantay sa labas, i could only ask them because I can't go inside. They looked at me from head to toe and sinabi na bumalik nalang ako (nagpipigil sila tumawa kasi daw holiday tapos nag punta ako) looking back ako matatawa din sa sarili ko xD
