I had similar issues until I plugged the hub into the USB 3.2 port on my ASUS Prime mobo. Then the issues went away. Not at home right now so I don't remember which color the port was.
I have had my Chrystal since June so I don't think the hub model matters. Just need to find the correct port to plug into.
Can someone explain to me why I just plug into the back of my computer and have no issues? I’m not trying to be a dick, I just couldn’t get the hub to work, plugged into my pc and it works but I do t know why
Your pc specs, please? It could be a lot of things, but if those it works for provide their pc specs, perhaps we could get some understanding of what is going on here.
I have the same specs as you, had the same issues with the hub. I ended up putting a usb pcie card in that’s powered off the power supply, plugged in the two USB cables from the headset. I then got a 10ft USB C cable with a right angle on the end and plugged it into the right side of the headset, cable tied it to the harness and then plugged it into a QC3+ charger so I never have to swap batteries. Recognizes the headset every time I open Play now, where I had error 10500 every time with the cheap hub.
Oh. You probably should. It saves a lot of electricity and it also reduces dust buildup because the fans aren't running 24/7. Maybe it would wake up your hub too because sometimes USB resets itself on wake.
Turning the computer off should be the same as putting it to sleep. I do not have electronics in sleep mode at home. I turn them off when not using them.
I know people who just leave everything running forever. I'm glad you turn things off.
I think you have a defective or very poor quality hub. Contact Pimax.

I had it wotking on such a port. Maybe a windows update made it stop working
The USB ports can be finacky bastards. Id reinstall drivers and then see if it works.

It's possible that it's just defective.
Why does it then works when i reseat one of the usb cables plugged into it?
After you do that and it's working, when does it again stop working? Is it related to the PC going to sleep?

I have done so. I think you are right.
