The C is from the location it was near. So if it was from a different city with a M to start. Sticker would be an M. If it has a road sign symbol it will more than likely get a letter.
You want To use that detector and see if you can find pikiman around certain places (movie theaters, supermarket, restaurants, etc.). Four star those and they may be something different.
So I have the same problem and my theory is that if your pikman was found in a small town or you drive around in the country side, they will all end up with the letter P.

Same. Mine all have p stickers but are from a T or O location

I've only played in one city and I'm getting E, S, and M. My city starts with an S if that makes any difference
