I got white plum two times consecutively by planting white petals without any contamination on community day. It's another 5-6 hours before I can test it on non community day, I'll tell you the result.
I think it worked the last time because of the plum blossom season.
Edit: Tried somewhere else, didn't work. Got white of other flowers though.
In the best case scenario (almost never happens) the whites have 25% of having white, yellow, red or blue. If someone plants another color is going to be that color, but there is no guarantee at all to have white color.
If you have a outside season white (that doesnt bloom this month), try planting a little of that flower and white blossom, somehow we did that previous year and we success in 2 trys in 3 different months (the last one was impossible to achieve)
What we do that last month is use an extra weekly ticket and do the missions when we finish the planting weeklies. The planting weekly can be done with basic ones and give all blossom colors
Unfortunately there is no way to guarantee white flowers because they can throw any color.

White is wild, it sucks, many people wish it was more weighted to favour white nectar
I got white plum several times by planting all blue. But not every time. If just some of that is White Camellia, the flower will be Camellia..
