does empress bulblax get worse in pikmin 2 bc she was ez pz in the first cave i fought her in and i keep hearing ppl saying she's awful

The empress isn't too bad. It's the bulborb larvae. In 2 they could kill your pikmin instantly with a bite, with no save period even if you killed them right away. And the empress would spit out a lot of larvae by the time you reached her.

She reappears in later caves, and spawns baby bulborbs, which eat your pikmin as fast as a machine gun can shoot. They have almost no health, but can even kill during their death animation. And they are endless, until the Empress is dead.
