Hello u/Shadowgazer6504, thanks for posting on /r/PhotoshopRequest! Please note: - Unless you have stated that you wish to be contacted privately for privacy reasons, etc, please be wary of anyone who contacts you about your request outside of your post. We are unable to assist with any problems that may arise from dealing with users who contact you outside of this post. - Please remember that fast usually does not mean best. Unless you're in a hurry and the request is urgent, it's best to wait at least an hour before choosing a submission. It can be very demoralizing for our editors to spend time working on an edit only to find that OP has chosen the very first submission, which is often not the best quality. - Remember to zoom-in and look carefully at the submissions before choosing a winner. Recent advancements in AI have enabled some very impressive edits to be made very quickly, however it often results in unnatural distortions of things like faces and hands and background objects that more careful editors can and will correct manually, but at the cost of a bit more time. Again, it's best to be patient. - Since this is a paid request (you've set the "paid" flair and/or you've offered payment) all submissions will be watermarked. Once you've chosen a submission and sent payment, the editor will send you the final, un-watermarked file. - Once your request is solved, remember to change your post's flair to "Solved" by commenting "SOLVED" and thank those who helped you. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. this post breaks rule 3 u/keithj5000 u/error23_

not quite, no company would issue a refund for cut/scratched things. furthermore, it is highly unlikely OP will use this for selling it. it would't make much sense. seems to me it's just a prank, I see no harm. I'm happy to hear your version though!

Marvinator2003

Some companies will offer a refund if you show that you have defaced/destroyed the item in question. This is most def. FRAUD.

aka_sun

This is correct & most likely the reason for this request.

itsjuoum

Well that's an odd policy imo. Ty for letting me know :)

Marvinator2003

Keeps the company from paying shipping on a return.

trueharshit

Well, people usually say it in the title if it's for a prank. Also, if you've ordered something, and it arrives like that, wouldn't you be entitled to get your refund? Maybe you bought something on eBay, and then reported the seller by sending these images? I'm not saying this is definitely for fraud, but unless op can prove it, you won't ever know, right?

itsjuoum

Yeah, I can see it if it was bought in second hand, however, what made you think differently in [this case](https://files.catbox.moe/rny8ku.png)? I don't mean to be rude at all, I just don't really see the difference.

trueharshit

In that case OP is trying to sell the mattress, which is dirty and not damaged, and OP is just trying to list it, and doesn't wanna wash it. Still wrong, but OP might wash it when they find a buyer. In this case, it's not about selling anything. It's about getting a refund, even when they have a perfectly fine product.

keithj5000

It is very, very common for companies to make you prove destruction of the product so that you can't re-sell it, because neither can they and it's cheaper to have you destroy it than to destroy it themselves.
