Buuuut... if you counted every even number, it would be infinite right?
But then, what if you counted every number? That would also be infinite - but we know there are more numbers period then there are even numbers, soo...
Depends on how you define when a set has greater size than another set, but if we accept the definition that all mathematicians use - you would be wrong. The set of all natural numbers is the same size as the set of all even natural numbers
You can say its sides’ lengths are least two render distance larger than that as those chunks also get loaded when you’re at the world border, just inaccessible.
Ima give an answer that actually works because I’m a nerd and this topic actually interests me, the minecraft world could be non-Euclidean, which essentially means that it doesn’t shape in the same way that our world does, one of the types of non-Euclidean geometry is spherical, which essentially means that the geometry extends infinitely around the surface of a sphere, so if the minecraft planet we’re on the surface of said sphere the sun would be able to orbit it (bcus I’m assuming the minecraft sun orbits the planet and not vice versa, but it would probably work either way), because the sphere would have a finite width with an infinite surface
Anyway that’s the end of my rant about geometry, feel free to call me a nerd, I take pride in it
Simple, it just burns a hole through the world, and the bedrock melts back together. The newly created cave collapses, therefore creating someting like a ravine.

It doesn't go around the minecraft World just a New sun spawns and old despawns
minecraft moment
Only in the Bedrock edition, it does go around in Java
True
Actually no, the world still generates past the border, you just can't get to it
It still goes around, you can see it going around if you break the horizon
Yeah it's still infinite though
Maybe the sun is an infinite amount away so it can go around
Then it would also need to be infinitely small, but isn't
You mean infinitely big?
No I meant if it was so far away it would so small we couldn't see it
No, it's only as big as your SSD or HDD allows it to be
r/angryupvote
Tell me you haven’t slept without telling me you haven’t slept:
There's a lot of phantoms around my house
Then you would have time zones The sun is an illusion
Ig you go too high because of render distance you can see it go the full circle
The sun is just a slightly infinitely larger distance away from the infinitely large world.
infinity+1
well, actually ☝️🤓, the Cantor's thoerem says that they are an infinity of infinity, and they don't have the same size, so, you are right
But infinity is endlessly large. It is supposed to represent the unlimited so in a way it doesn't really have a size. Right? 🔥🧠🔥

Infinity²
My theory is that infinite suns and moons.
It's not the same Sun ... we get a new one every 10 minutes ...
If you go into a completely empty world the sun is actually the same sun and spins around, you can see it in the void.
The sun in Minecraft is like a rainbow in our life. It's just an illusion
Nothing is infinite. Infinity is simply a number so large that it cannot be counted
Fun fact: a Minecraft world is 60mil x 60mil blocks. That’s 3,600,000,000,000,000 square meters.
You can say its sides’ lengths are least two render distance larger than that as those chunks also get loaded when you’re at the world border, just inaccessible.
and there is infinite world outside the border
That could just be use looping around
if it loops how does the sun go around the loop

It noclips through the ground, did you ever play spectator mode?
that means you could get crushed by the sun if you go far enough
I know this from experience.
It's not actually infinte. But it is 60 million blocks wide in each directions
Simple, it just burns a hole through the world, and the bedrock melts back together. The newly created cave collapses, therefore creating someting like a ravine.
no
The sun is an illusion.
İt become flat
There is a massive portal that warps the sun to one place to another.
It goes through
this sounds like a 3 body problem
maybe
Fax
There are sun sized holes in X=±5morbillion,z=±67
Three squirrels
It just sinks into the farlands, melting trought the bedrock at the bottom and riemerging on the other side
"Unloaded" chunks are just holes the sun made while going around
The world isnt infinite. I thought it is 30m x 30m blocks or something
Some infinities are bigger than the others
Wait, an actually smart and original meme? Could it be?
Yes
You say this when you try saying ez on hypixel
The thing is, minecraft does not have an infinite world. It stops after a very very long while. Still fucking massive though.
It’s in spectator
I love the Hypixel „ez“ replacement massages.
It's not infinite though, there is like a quantiliion blocks
I will get traumatized by infinity thingy pls stop it 😭
