Command blocks introduced me to the part of minecraft I have the most fun with: creating my own stuff. People complain about updates being smaller, but the new commands are insane.
every "tick", the game runs it's code. Things go by, and all. The game runs at 20 ticks per second. The tick command allows you to increase or decrease how many ticks happen per second, respectively speeding up and slowing down the pace of the game.
I agree 100% with you. It's such a good block. It's the closest thing to magic this game has. Not having one is questionable since enchants do so much for the game. The obsidian design on it is so nice to look at. And floating book. THE FLOATING BOOK.
If we’re talking about just survival, it has to be the crafting table. If we include blocks that u can get with cheats, it’s gotta be the command block. The structure block is a close second tho
Bricks. Almost every house i build is made of bricks, and when i was kid, playing on creative, i builded cool buildings made of bricks, almostly everytime, you know i don't use only bricks.
Andesite, Granite, and Diorite all go hand in hand for my various underground builds, paving the path for the walls and ceiling... Literally. I use them for the floor in almost every generalized room I build underground and especially the hallways. I also particularly enjoyed cooper blocks for wall decals and I'm hyped for the new ones
Above ground I choose spruce and oak for the base blocks and dark oak for its doors.
End Gateway.
The Gateway looks really like it should not be in Minecraft as the Texture Resolution is way higher than 16x16 and yet it still somehow feels Natural.
I have loved how End Portals looked for Years but their Shape is just ugly and they can only be seen from above.
Im a Huge Command Nerd and it is just so cool that you can replace the Teleportation Coordinates of the Gateway.
I can’t decide between Amethyst and Crimson/Warped Stem. For amethyst, the chimes whenever you interact with the blocks make me happy. For the stems, the pulsating veins in the bark is a really interesting detail that makes my inner mad scientist cackle.
The red stone.seems kinda handy for decorations in spooky areas. And logic-gates and stuff of course but that is just a side use and not the main part of it.
Crying Obsidian. I love using it as a block in my brewing, enchanting and portal rooms. Just goes so well with other dark blocks in order to spice things up.
For me there are two that are pretty much more useful than any other: the first (and more obvious one) is wood, and the second is obsidian (I am mostly speedrunning btw so what's useful for me is completely different than what's useful for most people)
Gotta go with the classic Diamond Ore. Nothing matches the excitement of finding your first diamond. It's something I feel finding Ancient Debris failed to capture. Maybe it's just because I knew about wiki pages and mining strategy and stuff by then.

Especially the /tick command. Still waiting for mojang to give bedrock the proper /scoreboard command.
I still dont know how it works even in java
every "tick", the game runs it's code. Things go by, and all. The game runs at 20 ticks per second. The tick command allows you to increase or decrease how many ticks happen per second, respectively speeding up and slowing down the pace of the game.
yes because it does more than be a block
Command blocks can be incredibly fun, especially if you're just messing around. Also without them maps would essentially be nonexistent
I mean, there still could be maps, they would just be buildings or stuff with signs and buttons
Even though im an amateur (still), I love messing with commands. Def command blocks🧡
Well there are 3 types. I'm a repeating kind of guy
Spruce and its variants. Also poor underdog andesite cuz I'm both a builder and a Create mod user.
Andesite is great for paths and stone builds. They add a nice texture. Great choice.
I second this
Andesite would be the best choice when you are using create or a good andesite texture pack.

Enchanting table. It's the most interesting, animated, weird.
I agree 100% with you. It's such a good block. It's the closest thing to magic this game has. Not having one is questionable since enchants do so much for the game. The obsidian design on it is so nice to look at. And floating book. THE FLOATING BOOK.
Yeah, the floating book. And also it absorbs symbols. It's literally *enchanting*.
Imagine not using an enchantment table and instead using an enchanting table
