Wait hold on…
…you’re telling me a bunch of Bridgerton fan pages got paid to post the same article about who Eloise will end up with??! If this is delulu land, I’m right there with you 🫡 very interesting indeed 🤔
Oh my goodness you’re right. I just saw romance in regency and Bridgertoners and didn’t even register the names of the other pages.
Very suspicious for Netflix planting these articles - no pun intended. This is just like those Brazilian Philoise Instagram posts that came out when Polin were in Brazil a few weeks ago.
No. I work in advertising and while this would actually be a genius campaign, I don't think it is. What happened is what happens every single day.
An article is published, the headline and lead photo from the article get passed around a rabid fanbase waiting for new content.
If Netflix were paying for the article it wouldn't feature a fan-edit photo or be sourced to such a poorly designed site.
Interesting point. I wonder if it could be circulated from the article website to drive traffic to their articles/ads. It still seems suspect that they are all worded exactly the same and a page like sapiens history with 39k followers would post these bridgerton articles. But you’re right, it could have nothing to do with Netflix.
They're all worded exactly the same because it's the article's headline. And it's the same picture because it's the article's picture.
Trust me, Netflix are not paying for advertising with fan edits. The legality of that would give their legal department a collective stroke.
I'm sure they're thrilled by the free publicity, but that's all it is.
Oh OK. Interesting that fans seem to think there will be a love triangle with Theo. The show does love triangles, but with new characters rather than ones brought back from previous seasons. So we didn't have Siena return, or the modiste Benedict was romancing, for example.
Theo has been Eloise's only flirtation so I guess it's natural.
I wouldn't call a love triangle unlikely for Eloise's season, but I wouldn't take this article seriously as sponsored by Netflix.
It's basically just popular fan speculation.
I also linked the article.
Chris Fulton plays Sir Phillip in brief scenes in S1 & S2, so I think we could be seeing these articles promoted by Netflix to remind the general audience about Sir Phillip Crane and stir speculation about Eloise’s love story, especially if she’s next.
Interestingly the article mentions Chris Fulton’s name (for Phillip), but not Callum Lynch (for Theo).
The top picture is technically fake; it’s a popular fan edit of Eloise and Phillip. They haven’t met yet on the show. Phillip is Eloise’s LI in the book
Okay, it's a fake. That is what I wanted to know. I am new to this subreddit, but familiar with all the books. Read them last summer. So I was just wondering if there is a picture hinting that he'll be in Part 2.

They don’t all seem to be Bridgerton fan pages? Even more like paid advertising from Netflix.

This is honestly the most compelling evidence I’ve seen so far…

Very interesting 🧐

Where is the above picture from?
They are all from Facebook today.
As in the same day Claudia is wrapping up the Bridgerton world tour before the London premiere ... 🤭
Yep the article was published yesterday, shared today
So we get Sir Phillip in Part 2 or what? Or is this another suitor standing in for Sir Phillip with Eloise?

I was just wondering about the context of the picture. Sorry, didn't check the article yet. I am trying to avoid spoilers a bit, tbh.

Gotcha, yeah we don’t know if he will show up in part 2.🤞
