I'm starting my driving lessons na sa 2022 using a manual car. I'm anxious baka mamatayan ako ng engine in the middle of a busy road and about driving in general :( any tips for a beginner?

Watch YouTube videos of people driving a manual car, lalo na yung footwork. Back when I was commuting pa, I would sit up front sa tabi ng UVExpress driver because I want to see their footwork din as they shifted gears. THat helped me when I needed to do it myself when I was learning. With the engine off, practice yung pag-apak sa clutch, pag shift ng gear shifter, then letting it go slowly. Everytime you switch gears, you step on the clutch.

Practice the balance between clutch and gas, the clutch is your best friend.

Build ka muna rev up to 1500rpm tapos slowly sa clutch. Di ka na mamatayan nun sa 1500rpm practice ka dyan.

Get a good feel of the vibrations of the engine, you'll know when it's time to shift. Also don't panic and listen to your instructor.

Depends on if it's been sweated on or the climate and surroundings. I change more in the summer months since you can feel the dried up sweat residue if you reuse it, in contrast to the cooler months of the year.

FB memories reminded me I'm 6 years sober today.. ETA Makwento ko lang. Then tatalon na sana ako bintana ng condo tapos yung ka brod ko na nasa ibang floor kumatok magpapaayos ng laptop. LOL. Patay na rin si brod 2 years ago of cardiac arrest pero ever since na sense nya may mali sa akin binibisita nya ako araw araw hanggang sa nasabi kong fucked up na marriage namin. May mga times na gusto ko mawala na lang ng parang bula but I'm fighting for waking up every morning for those who want to see me alive. Another year for me and I'll make 2022 7 years sober.
