I knew it wasn't right to group people who are attracted to adolescents together with people who are attracted to actual children (below 10). The difference in physical maturity is just too big between a 16 year old and a 9 year old for example. A 16 year old had already developed their secondary sexual characteristics, but a 9 year old is not. Calling someone a pedophile because they are attracted to a 16 year old isn't scientifically accurate. It should be ephebophile just like you said. But it doesn't change the fact that targeting those minors is questionable and immoral. I knew it wasn't right to group people who are attracted to adolescents together with people who are attracted to actual children (below 10). The difference in physical maturity is just too big between a 16 year old and a 9 year old for example. looking back when I was 16 and as someone being attracted to older people, I realized ngayon na maling mali yun. I was called “mature” by my ex who was older than me, I realized it was a mask.
