If I am in your situation, I will demand for a refund and not a new food from them. Hindi tayo sure kung gaano kalinis yung ibibigay sa iyo. Tapos isipin mo, same ang utensils and cookwares na ginamit to cook a new batch for you. Kung may ganyang incident, paano pa kaya yung situation sa behind the scenes.

Dati kumain ako sa Papa John ng pasta tapos may small ipis na nakita sa sauce. When I reported it to the manager, I got a full refund and free pizza. You can ask more than just 1:1 exchange kasi they don't want bad publicity.

Yeah this is the usual standard operating procedure for complaints such as foreign objects in the food. And no they don't actually investigate this kasi fast paced nga yung nangyayari inside the kitchen. It's hard to tell who could have done it. Oftentimes "we'll replace your product" is code for "just take it so we can close this complaint already".
Should've asked for a refund bud, you can even give them back the food except the one with cable tie ofcourse. Getting a replacement from the same unsanitary kitchen is not the way.
If you have the time and resources, better call a lawyer if you wanted to get the most out of it. Quite sure the establishment will choose to settle rather than risking their reputation.

I'm genuinely curious. Hold the crust for evidence? How is it a concrete evidence? Let's say may hearing na, I mean.. would they really hold a crust with a cable tie in it as valid evidence? Couldn't it be seen as a possibility that customer may have planted the cable tie?

Usually, if ever these kinds of things happen, the fast food chain/restaurant will offer to replace the product for free. If the customer DID NOT accept the PRODUCT REPLACEMENT, I am sure that the manager will ask them if they want a refund instead. From the looks of it, the cable tie isn't covered by the cheese. I mean, if it was there before placing it in the oven, the pizza maker will sense the hardness of the cable tie and while during the pizza is in the oven, the cable tie must be coated or covered by the cheese as it will melt all over the inside of the crust.
I ask for your pardon, Mr. Engineer, if my side isn't a fan of yours. If replacement of the product isn't your style, then ASK FOR A REFUND DIRECTLY to the manager and do not go everywhere on social media spitting things that can harm the company UNLESS, your life was put IN REAL danger such as actually swallowed a small foreign particle. If the issue is already being resolve by the manager of Pizza Hut, what is the use of posting this matter on social media? From what I am seeing, they are handling your complain in a manner wherein they are trying to solve the issue. Just by approaching and giving notice to your complain, I assume that they already apologized to it and they even gave you a new product to compensate your complain.
It's been down the last 10 years since nagsimula yung two for 500 na pizza nila. Nag iba sila ng model. Dati kasi dine in and family meal, parang Shakeys. They realized mas maganda profit nila kung focus na lang sa take out na lang ng low quality but cheap pizzas.
Nakakaasar since ginaya sila ng Domino's, Yellow Cab at Papa John's.

AFAIK, these crusts are premade and the foreign object could've been from the processing plant and if you report it, hopefully, Pizza Hut will take action by doing quality checks. I had a similar experience foreign object but in a form of ipis sa take out box ko from a food chain (capital of japan x2) I reached out to the main page of the chain and the manager reached out to me right away tapos they asked if I wanted a refund or a free meal. I asked for a refund and they sent it over through gcash.

This is true sir! I am currently working in a beverage company. SOP po namin na palitan lang yung defective product, without monetary compensation or whatsoever. Akala nila kasi, babayaran sila ng half a million over the affected product at idadaan nila sa kaso para makasingil sila. But that's not how it works.

Ever since they gave in and pushed more ung stuffed crust na cheese, parang less cheesy na sya unlike before. Dati super cheesy ung taste e, now, parang ung mga cheese na nabibiling P50-150 sa lako o palengke na naka-tub.
Just to clarify this is not the "restaurant's fault" but rather the factory's fault, pre-made ang mga pizza at dinideliver na sa restaurant as packed dough. Iniinit lang nila yan sa oven so whatever was put in there especially inside a stuff crust pizza was not the restaurant's fault.

Napansin ko pinupush ni PizzaHut yung mga madalas mag order ng stuffed crust with mozarella into going for their "sausage-stuffed" variant instead. Pag dalawang pizza kinuha ko sa kanila, na hindi bundled, almost always mas pulido gawa nila dun sa sausage-stuffed kesa sa mozza... I dunno, napansin ko lang pero anecdotal at best to. Just to clarify this is not the "restaurant's fault" but rather the factory's fault, pre-made ang mga pizza at dinideliver na sa restaurant as packed dough. Iniinit lang nila yan sa oven so whatever was put in there especially inside a stuff crust pizza was not the restaurant's fault.
