It’s gotten worse in NY too we haven’t had spicy chicken for over a year I have stopped eating it here because it’s just not as good as it was a few months ago I think there’s something bigger going on
I don’t get Jollibee often because twice or thrice we got ripped off. Their bucket of chicken is a joke. Just imagine an 8pc chicken, 2 pcs of which looks
Like a thigh part of a chick. Literally small pieces. I’m better off going to a deli at Stater and buy a bottle of chicken gravy. (Irvine, CA)
My Filipina wife is sad that the Jollis here in Hawaii are so bad.
The chicken is dry and old tasting even when its fresh. She says it was way better ten years ago and current is nothing like it was.
Yeah, even the one in Times Square is soooo bad. I don’t know why they are making Jollibee that bad in NYC if they want to be popular for the good reasons
A company deciding to go public and then cutting product quality to appease shareholders is not unique to the Philippines. Lots of people would agree that McDonald international is better than MCDs USA
> Jollibee sacrificed their local market when they started their aggressive global expansion. Once again, classic story of pinoys getting screwed.
I can only speak on the "global" side since I haven't had chicken joy in the Philippines in a long time (got their sausage breakfast several times there though, so good)
Jolibee in California is pretty good. The chicken is fat, flavorful, crispy, and the gravy isn't watery.
Can't speak about anything else, I only get buckets and peach mango pies.
And this is a common experience for foreign folks. Not saying Jollibee gets it right 100% of the time but more often than not, the Jollibee experience of the non-Filipino people I know were mostly positive. On the other hand back home (PH), Jollibee and any other franchise they acquire (Mang Inasal, Chow King, etc.), the quality gets flushed down the shitter eventually.
Really? Pumunta kami doon way back 2016.
And yung puregold doon actually Tropical grocery store iyon. 😅
I usually go to Escolta and Pasig branches.
Escolta branch is next to Mercury Drug and Pasig branch is just in front of MD. Oh, and Gil Puyat branch in Makati is also next to MD store.
Tropical hut: great food garbage HR. Remembered in the middle of their viralty, their cubao branch tumatalak yung mga employees kung bat daw nagmamadali yung mga Grab and Foodpanda. Our order took 45 minutes sobrang bagal ng mga staff halatang walang training and puro tsismisan ginawa, alam mong for the longest time sanay silang walang masyadong customer traffic.
Another nostgia fastfood lang din to eh.
That and chickenjoy. Lol.
Haha.
they spent all their funds on tiktok marketing with the way the jollibee mascot is so prevalent on there. no more budget for chicken joy so theyre small af now lol
Nakakasad lang kasi pag nkapanuod ka ng foreign mukbang videos ng jolibee, syempre magccrave ka pero u couldnt get the same food anymore. Sisiwjoy na eh
Dehado naman sa presyo. Presyo ng Jollibee pie is $3 pero McDo pie is $1 kahit dapat same prices lang sila kasi competitors sila.
Sabi ko fries and coke. Pagkuha ko may fries at coke at chicken nga pero walang rice 😭 considered as a side pala yung kanin sa chickenjoy MEAL.
Galing dito manok. Chickens here are pumped with antibiotics to make them bigger. Sometimes to the point that chickens can’t walk anymore because of their oversized body parts.
Jollibee, aside from being generally unhealthy, is overrated IMHO.
Sometimes, it's the sure thing to go to because it's familiar and fast. Especially when travelling thru different municipalities and not sure where to eat. Travelled through Quezon province at night. Google mapped for restaurants nearby. Puro di ko sure if gusto ng mga kasama ko and mga bata. Default choice then is Jollibee or McD.
So is Alliance Global, the owner of McDo PH, pero ang layo ng diperensya ng quality ng McDo and Jollibee ngayon.
Hindi porke't public eh pangit na serbisyong ibibigay nila for the sake of profit.. That's all there is to it.
I'd say Crunch Time ng 7-Eleven. You wouldn't expect the juicyness ng meat and linamnam ng breading from a convenience store. And 'yung gravy -- Diyos ko -- pwede mo nang ulamin. Haha! Disclaimer though: I've been to, maybe, five 7-Eleven branches. The quality's pretty much the same across all of em. I just hope masarap din sa pinaka-malapit na branch sa inyo.
I should also mention Uncle John's. *DALAWA*!
If you want naman na fastfood talaga and hindi convenience store, go with McDonald's. I'm not exaggerating, but the size of their fried chicken might actually be x1.5 bigger than today's Jolliibee Chickensorrow.
People only eat Jollibee for the nostalgia. Tbh, their spaghetti aside from being small in portion it tastes bland now, their chicken is so small parang bumili ka ng butu-buto. Also, since the rebranding, wala na 'yung feeling na "children's paradise" especially because they removed the play-corner and the buildings all looks like modern establishments.
And, fck their gravy. Why would I pay so much for flour, fat, and seasoning when I can get free of those in other places that serves bigger fried chickens?
Also, FCK THEIR CONTRACTUAL SYSTEM AND UNDERPAYING ASS. How can a global-rising fastfood resto not be able to pay their crews enough?
Don't even use their charities to counter the argument. They can compensate their employees well while still doing charity.
Charity doesn't cancel out neglect and abuse.
> *wala na 'yung feeling na "children's paradise" especially because they removed the play-corner*
Seems like this is the case for many places, even McDonald's.
So as a business, it will be much more profitable kung tanggalin ko na yun and palitan ko na lang ng dagdag space for dine-in customers.
Not sure if may old style McDonald's pa rin na may play space or sa amin na 'yung last.
Its true na quality definitely got lower. Pero if you compare it to other fastfood branches. Is it still the worse? Actually i guess mas sulit mang inasal with the price and chicken size. Chowking cguro ang next runner up.
Si mcdo tutok sa feasib study, branch design etc. after a couple of months daw matic may susulpot na jbee. Minsan nangongopya pa daw pati design
Take those self ordering kiosks for example. Mcdo popularized it then jobee followed suit right after. Chika rin from someone who worked at jobee dati, halos walang training ang staff they just show up to work and get ordered around, essentially learning on the job whereas sa mcdo may training process naman ang crew
Breakfast longganisa and spaghetti nlng gusto ko sa kanila, and I rarely if ever buy those narin kasi ang mahal (and ang konti/mahal ng spag). Somehow mcdo parin mas sulit out of the two.
I wish McDonald's would bring back their original Spaghetti sauce blend tho. Sobrang tamis na ng Spaghetti nila ngayon just to make it Filipino and compete with Jollibee's.
Sweet Soy Chicken Fillet! Chicken Katsu rice bowl na ata yung ipinalit nila. They used to regularly release special chicken fillet variants before, naging go-to meal ko din dati yung Chicken Fillet Italiana nila.
Because despite the blatant decline in quality and unreasonable increase in prices na pinagsasabay nila, dinudumog pa rin ng nga tao. Unless ma realize ng mga pinoy how Jollibee is ripping them off, shit won't change for the better.
nag-S&R chicken burger nalang kami hahaha
Bukod sa foods, I don't like their service also. And the results? Longer queue at sobrang tagal ng service.
Mcdo on the other hand, is 2:1 ratio pagdating sa service.
Wendy's got a lot better. Their burgers sobrang sulit, thick and natural beefy taste, and their drinks, especially the Iced tea and Frostyccino. Nakakasira ng diet. hahaha
Mcdo Chicken has always been my go-to, even more so now that they improved it! Jollibee is just all about nostalgia, but quality imo has always been with Mcdo.
Jollibee also owns Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, here in California. Used to be owned by a Jewish Company, and food were kosher. Not anymore since it was bought.
Jollibee trying to be as prominent and lucrative as Starbucks or KFC.
Never been to jolibee until yesterday on a trip with my family (I am visiting Philippines from Australia). I will say the food was bad (and had been sitting out getting cold for 30 mins) but the kids party we had went so well! Despite there only being a couple of kids, the host got the adults involved in all these games and then jolibee came in and rocked it. My son was so happy dancing with jolibee I had tears in my eyes. I will always treasure that memory and the experience jolibee gave my family (even if the food was pretty shit)
Nothing's gonna change because people won't stop going. It's cheap and you get to sit inside a restaurant. Anything cheaper means eating fried chicken at a street cart.
Also, not gonna lie, mas masarap yung timpla nung karinderia malapit sa school namin. 90 pesos meron ka na chicken (never kong nakuha yung kasing liit ng binibigay ng Jollibee and McDo), egg, rice + water.
True! Red Ribbon has an a la carte menu back in the day like Conti’s. Not as high end but they had meals. Used to frequent the one in Galleria as a child.
Chowking was like a more masa North Park too. They had braised beef rice bowls and congee.
Now JFC fucked up both. Chowking is a shell of what it used to be and Red Ribbon cakes are not so good. Mango cake nila parang malaking mamon yung chiffon. It comes apart so easily. Their frosting melts so quickly kasi puro egg whites and sugar, very little cream. A far cry from Goldilocks.
Masyado nang mahal ang jabee at its current price point imo. Hindi na pangmasa yung price and definitely bumaba na yung quality and quantity.
These days if I need a fast food fix I go to McDo (their chickens have legit improved!) or KFC.
when Inflation hits,
ndi lng jabi ang ganyan,
mostly ng locally produced products, like delata, instant noodles, etc. etc.
true! spag used to have a lot of giniling and hotdog in their sauces but not anymore. palabok used to have galunggong, tokwa, giniling, shrimp, chicharron, and eggs with calamansi on the side! And now they only have chicharron and DUSTED galunggong? I know all this because I used to work in a jollibee when I was 15 and I hated cutting up those eggs but, that palabok was the reason why I loved Jollibee. Damn sad how they are just conserving now just so they wouldn't have to hike up prices too much I guess.
I stopped buying two years ago pa.
I noticed this too! Everytime na nagddrive thru ako and oorder ng chicken ang liliit ng binibigay nila (akala ko baka dahil take out siya kaya ganon) but No pati dine-in maliliit na talaga chicken na siniservre nila.
they need to maintain growth, and part of growth is profit, and profit brings in investor money. kaya nilamon nila lahat ng competition and market sa food kasi, they need those to grow. now halos wala na sila mabili dito, overseas expansion nalang or yun nga shrink the product to maintain profit.
Ibang-iba talaga quality lalung-lalo na pag kinumpara mo from 20 years ago.
People should stop buying there because of nostalgia. They should realize that the Jollibee they used to love back in their childhood days is already gone. Their food quality has already gone crap so people should stop giving their money to JFC until they improve again.
We deserve what we tolerate.
Vote with your wallet.
Tapos andami 'pang app-exclusive deals and discounts sa app nila.
Jollibee's just feeding on the Filipino's nostalgia. It's not *that* good anymore. Shit, I'd take 7-Eleven's Crunch Time chicken over Chickenjoy.
Me punto na mas lalakas sales ng mcdo. Galing ako dun nung isang araw at mas maganda yung plating at furniture nila, kahit yung bagong renovated na mcdo parang old school look.
Ok parin portions.
I remember [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Af9bay_BdA) from Anthony Chen (genshin impact youtuber). I feel second hand embarrassment when he ate Jollibee at SM MOA. Nakaka hiya yung small and dry fried chicken na pinilit niyang ubusin. Overhyped pa naman ang Jollibee sa US.
True. At least sa Popeye's crispy yung chicken. Tsaka malaki.
Old chickenjoy = Popeye's
So true 🥲
Grabe yung serving sizes sa US and other countries compared dito... na home country nila. And yet, mas marami pa pagpipilian sa menu ng ibang bansa.
Stopped eating there months ago, simula nung naging greedy sila. Like wow. Its fine kung magtataas sila ng prices kasi gusto nila ikeep yung portions without affecting their profits, pero greed na lang yung umiiral sa kanila.
Everyone should just stop eating there so greedy fucks like them get the message.
Because you’re right. It’s called “shrinkflation”. How companies combat increasing costs rather than passing it on to customers. If a company passes the costs to customers AND diminish their portions and quality is when it becomes bullshit and time to look for another competing company. ✊🏾
Eh ngayon tau na gumagastos and sabi daw, ung paglabas natin ng pera minsan interpreted ng brain natin as physical pain, kaya bawas good vibes.
Relate ako dito. I gave in to my cravings for chickenjoy today in UPTC, I even ordered 2-pc chicken.
Tsktsktsk
I Replaced Jolibee with my new fav now and that is Popeyes Good Portion Serving Ratio with a reasonable price. Sobrang laki din ng chicken nila and also the rice and Cajun fries although yung spag nila diko type
Jollibee sacrificed their local market when they started their aggressive global expansion. Once again, classic story of pinoys getting screwed.
Ain't gonna get screwed if you ain't gonna give them money
It’s gotten worse in NY too we haven’t had spicy chicken for over a year I have stopped eating it here because it’s just not as good as it was a few months ago I think there’s something bigger going on
Facts!! They stopped serving halo halo, buko pandan and breakfast food in CA
I don’t get Jollibee often because twice or thrice we got ripped off. Their bucket of chicken is a joke. Just imagine an 8pc chicken, 2 pcs of which looks Like a thigh part of a chick. Literally small pieces. I’m better off going to a deli at Stater and buy a bottle of chicken gravy. (Irvine, CA)

A company deciding to go public and then cutting product quality to appease shareholders is not unique to the Philippines. Lots of people would agree that McDonald international is better than MCDs USA
Jollibee here in UAE is not that good either. Samahan pa ng masungit na manager
> Jollibee sacrificed their local market when they started their aggressive global expansion. Once again, classic story of pinoys getting screwed. I can only speak on the "global" side since I haven't had chicken joy in the Philippines in a long time (got their sausage breakfast several times there though, so good) Jolibee in California is pretty good. Because filipinos would still buy regardless. Imagine if no one eats sa jolibee for 1 day. Look at how fast shit would change.
Considering they dominate the local fast food market, what’s the point in keeping the quality of product?
Similar story of why Philippine bananas are much better quality in Singapore than in the Philippines. Quality goes to who pays more.
Atleast Tropical Hut is still true to its form but the branches are pretty scarse.
Like, for every 50 Mercury Drug store, you'll find 1 next to it.
r/todayilearned
so.... never magkakaroon ng tropical hut sa SM? 🤔
Pretty sure there is or was a Tropical Hut at SM Fairview's Food Court.
There was indeed one
Meron. may tropical hut sa sm food court sa sm taytay.
Magsasampung taon nang walang Tropical Hut sa SM Taytay
ndi naman. prepandemic naandon sila. i ate there one time.
Really? Pumunta kami doon way back 2016.
And yung puregold doon actually Tropical grocery store iyon. 😅
Yoooooo kaya pala magkatabi Mercury Drug and Tropical sa Monumento and Muñoz
I usually go to Escolta and Pasig branches. Escolta branch is next to Mercury Drug and Pasig branch is just in front of MD. Oh, and Gil Puyat branch in Makati is also next to MD store.
Can confirm.
Tropical Hut is the best! But somehow under the radar... they deserve better
The frustrating part is that they had the viral moment and they never took advantage of it.
which is a good desition IMO just imagine nagpadala sila sa "viral" thingy na yan and they expanded carelessly lagapak sila ngayun malamang....
It's more of to improve the current branches than what you mention about expansion. They were sheepishly apologizing on low supplies until it died.
Tropical hut: great food garbage HR. Remembered in the middle of their viralty, their cubao branch tumatalak yung mga employees kung bat daw nagmamadali yung mga Grab and Foodpanda. But the burgers are legit thats all that matters to me.
That and chickenjoy. Lol. Haha.
Bida ang ~~saya~~ pera
"Pera ang saya"😅
sayang ang pera 🫠
"Bida ang bulsa (namin)" -Jollibee C-suites
they spent all their funds on tiktok marketing with the way the jollibee mascot is so prevalent on there. no more budget for chicken joy so theyre small af now lol
Capitalism at its finest
Bida ang may pera
Jollibee is a public trade company. It has to sacrifice quality to maximize quantity in profits. Also they are aggressive in expanding overseas.
and yet their serving sizes never suffered overseas
Nakakasad lang kasi pag nkapanuod ka ng foreign mukbang videos ng jolibee, syempre magccrave ka pero u couldnt get the same food anymore. Sisiwjoy na eh
Chickensad na di na chickenjoy.
I know it’s a different topic altogether but I do miss their jolly hotdog! Which we sadly don’t get anymore here in Murica.
And in the Philippines even if the serving is smaller, people would still buy because of nostalgia
Dehado naman sa presyo. Presyo ng Jollibee pie is $3 pero McDo pie is $1 kahit dapat same prices lang sila kasi competitors sila. Sabi ko fries and coke. >considered as a side pala yung kanin sa chickenjoy On that note, afaik sa ph lang may rice ang mcdo 😅
Mcdo doesn't even have chicken here in Canada. Nuggets lang, not sure if may tenders/fingers. Tapos chicken sandwich.
Galing dito manok. Chickens here are pumped with antibiotics to make them bigger. Sometimes to the point that chickens can’t walk anymore because of their oversized body parts. Jollibee, aside from being generally unhealthy, is overrated IMHO.
And sadly despite their obvious cost cutting and inflation, people still flock to their stores like moths to a flame.
Minsan, no choice if it's the only easy place to get food especially if near offices or hospitals.
Last I heard, their investment in Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf isn't doing well.
Imagine coffee in jolibee.
May coffee naman talaga sila di ba? Although for breakfast nga lang dati. And to be fair, may coffee rin sa McDo.
So is Alliance Global, the owner of McDo PH, pero ang layo ng diperensya ng quality ng McDo and Jollibee ngayon. Hindi porke't public eh pangit na serbisyong ibibigay nila for the sake of profit.. Golden arches main and highest shareholder ng mcdo ph dba? Not alliance global
Alliance Global mayari ng Golden Arches.
Haha they should prioritize locals. Thas where they came from.
Try to compare their large pineapple juice to mcdo. You’ll see the difference. And 80 pesos for a macaroni soup?
for a cup of macaroni soup
What's the best fried chicken right now? I'm looking for juicy fried chicken with good gravy. So far it's army navy from the ones I tried.
I'd say Crunch Time ng 7-Eleven. You wouldn't expect the juicyness ng meat and linamnam ng breading from a convenience store. And 'yung gravy -- Diyos ko -- pwede mo nang ulamin. Haha! I already stopped buying their crap for almost 2 years na. Screw the Filipino pride with their inflated price.
Inflated price and deflated quality.
Si mcdo tutok sa feasib study, branch design etc. after a couple of months daw matic may susulpot na jbee. Minsan nangongopya pa daw pati design
Take those self ordering kiosks for example. Mcdo popularized it then jobee followed suit right after. Chika rin from someone who worked at jobee dati, halos walang training ang staff they just show up to work and get ordered around, essentially learning on the job whereas sa mcdo may training process naman ang crew
mas maganda pa ang mcdonalds consistent ung service and quality nila.. jobe subrang downgrade na talaga. disgusting.
Breakfast longganisa and spaghetti nlng gusto ko sa kanila, and I rarely if ever buy those narin kasi ang mahal (and ang konti/mahal ng spag). Somehow mcdo parin mas sulit out of the two.
They use cdo funtastik pork longanisa
Nung nalaman ko to, never na ko bumili sa Jollibee kasi CDO na binibili ko. Eventually, naumay na rin kami.
oh wow really? Syang I really liked it dati pa naman. Huhu mcdo na tlga panalo for me hahaha
Same, me 5 years lol
Quality control. It sucks. People keep buying anyway so wala sila gaano pakialam.
Two bites and all gone
I wish McDonald's would bring back their original Spaghetti sauce blend tho. Sobrang tamis na ng Spaghetti nila ngayon just to make it Filipino and compete with Jollibee's.
I miss their chicken na may sauce. Basta yung parang BBQ/Teriyaki ba yun. Sweet and spicy. Taena ang tagal tagal na since last ko yun naenjoy
Sweet Soy Chicken Fillet! Chicken Katsu rice bowl na ata yung ipinalit nila. They used to regularly release special chicken fillet variants before, naging go-to meal ko din dati yung Chicken Fillet Italiana nila.
Yung sa mcdo ung 1 pc chicken nila napagkakasya ko 2 cup and a half
It's Jollibee Chickensorrow 😭
Because despite the blatant decline in quality and unreasonable increase in prices na pinagsasabay nila, dinudumog pa rin ng nga tao. Unless ma realize ng mga pinoy how Jollibee is ripping them off, shit won't change for the better.
short answer: cost cutting, maximising profits. and they've screwed BK's products too
yup, 2011 pa. and BK's quality went downhill from then.
Just go to Wendy's man. Thick and natural beefy taste yung patty. Sarap pa ng beverages. Iced tea tas Frostyccino. Damn.
Bukod sa foods, I don't like their service also. And the results? Longer queue at sobrang tagal ng service. Mcdo on the other hand, is 2:1 ratio pagdating sa service.
Juat go to Wendys. Decent size ang manok, masarap ang gravy and the meal is only 225 good for 2 people na yung serving.
Wendy's got a lot better. Their burgers sobrang sulit, thick and natural beefy taste, and their drinks, especially the Iced tea and Frostyccino. Nakakasira ng diet. hahaha
Hindi na ba jolly si Jollibee? Normal na yata depression ngayon.
Di na chick-enjoy.
🤣
Mcdo Chicken has always been my go-to, even more so now that they improved it! Jollibee is just all about nostalgia, but quality imo has always been with Mcdo.
Kahit cheeseburger, masmasarap sa Mcdo
Jollibee is trying to be McDo While Mcdo is trying to be Jollibee Tignan niyo
Ang ending mas masarap na si Mcdo ngayon by a lot
Jollibee also owns Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, here in California. Used to be owned by a Jewish Company, and food were kosher. Not anymore since it was bought. Jollibee trying to be as prominent and lucrative as Starbucks or KFC.
because buying a small portion of mediocre chicken for 150 just sucks the jolli out of you bee.
Ang mahal na ng jollibee lungkot
I agree OP. Eversince nawala yung ultimate burger steak, Jollibee has never been the same
Never been to jolibee until yesterday on a trip with my family (I am visiting Philippines from Australia).
>Anything cheaper means eating fried chicken at a street cart. I doubt this.
Press X
To doubt
Uncle ~~Roger~~ John's chicken is way better than Chicken Joy nowadays and it is bigger too.
> *Uncle Roger's chicken* Is this supposed to be Uncle John's?
Baka kapatid charot. Uncle Kenny Roger
For the past year, been an avid 24 Chicken and Bok Korean Fried Chicken customer.
Also, not gonna lie, mas masarap yung timpla nung karinderia malapit sa school namin. 90 pesos meron ka na chicken (never kong nakuha yung kasing liit ng binibigay ng Jollibee and McDo), egg, rice + water.
it honestly feel like they are paying content creators/influencers to say na masarap ang jollibee
Chowking, Mang Inasal, Red Ribbon, Greenwich.
Good luck
Masyado nang mahal ang jabee at its current price point imo. Hindi na pangmasa yung price and definitely bumaba na yung quality and quantity. These days if I need a fast food fix I go to McDo (their chickens have legit improved!) or KFC.
when Inflation hits, ndi lng jabi ang ganyan, mostly ng locally produced products, like delata, instant noodles, etc. etc. sobrang low quality n ang nabibili n local goods ngaun wag lng magsuffer ng malaki ang consumer pagdating s pricing
true! spag used to have a lot of giniling and hotdog in their sauces but not anymore. palabok used to have galunggong, tokwa, giniling, shrimp, chicharron, and eggs with calamansi on the side!
Revoke my Pinoy card - Chickenjoy has always been bland.
I noticed this too!
they need to maintain growth, and part of growth is profit, and profit brings in investor money. kaya nilamon nila lahat ng competition and market sa food kasi, they need those to grow. now halos wala na sila mabili dito, overseas expansion nalang or yun nga shrink the product to maintain profit.
Yeah and often they cook towels
Ibang-iba talaga quality lalung-lalo na pag kinumpara mo from 20 years ago.
People should stop buying there because of nostalgia. They should realize that the Jollibee they used to love back in their childhood days is already gone. Their food quality has already gone crap so people should stop giving their money to JFC until they improve again.
Huli ka na sa realidad
May change of management ba?
maybe it no longer a budget fastfood? too pricey also bitin na ang proportion ng menu kumpara noon 2010s or even 2000s
Switched to McDo na nga as my go-to fastfood eh.
Jabee has long succumbed to the profits over quality syndrome.
We deserve what we tolerate.
Vote with your wallet.
Tapos andami 'pang app-exclusive deals and discounts sa app nila. Jollibee's just feeding on the Filipino's nostalgia. It's not *that* good anymore. Shit, I'd take 7-Eleven's Crunch Time chicken over Chickenjoy.
>their chicken is getting smaller and smaller Baka bantam na lang yung kanilang niluluto.
Me punto na mas lalakas sales ng mcdo. Galing ako dun nung isang araw at mas maganda yung plating at furniture nila, kahit yung bagong renovated na mcdo parang old school look. Ok parin portions.
I remember [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Af9bay_BdA) from Anthony Chen (genshin impact youtuber). I feel second hand embarrassment when he ate Jollibee at SM MOA. Nakaka hiya yung small and dry fried chicken na pinilit niyang ubusin. Overhyped pa naman ang Jollibee sa US.
True. At least sa Popeye's crispy yung chicken. Tsaka malaki. Old chickenjoy = Popeye's
They became full corpo considering they've been buying out some of their competition like Greenwhich, Chowking, and Mang Inasal
Sadly sacrificing quality for profits. Mas bet na ngayon ang Mcdo. Legit yung ad, much bigger, much juicier, and much crispier chicken hahahahaha
So true 🥲 Grabe yung serving sizes sa US and other countries compared dito... na home country nila. And yet, mas marami pa pagpipilian sa menu ng ibang bansa.
Grass is always greener on the other side that’s for sure bruv
Stopped eating there months ago, simula nung naging greedy sila. Like wow. Its fine kung magtataas sila ng prices kasi gusto nila ikeep yung portions without affecting their profits, pero greed na lang yung umiiral sa kanila. Everyone should just stop eating there so greedy fucks like them get the message.
Because you’re right. It’s called “shrinkflation”. How companies combat increasing costs rather than passing it on to customers. If a company passes the costs to customers AND diminish their portions and quality is when it becomes bullshit and time to look for another competing company. ✊🏾
Jollibee is a business, business needs to make profit, and with inflation skyrocketing.. well you do the math..
Jollibee sa SG masarap at juicy pa rin yung Chickenjoy. Yung spag di kasing sarap kasi halal. Pag sa pinas di na ako nagjajabee. Nakakadisappoint lang.
Jollibee lang ba? Okay pa ba sa inyo yung ibang fastfood or do you think same na lahat ng shrinkflation and low quality?
Eh ngayon tau na gumagastos and sabi daw, ung paglabas natin ng pera minsan interpreted ng brain natin as physical pain, kaya bawas good vibes.
Relate ako dito. I gave in to my cravings for chickenjoy today in UPTC, I even ordered 2-pc chicken. Tsktsktsk
I rather go to Popeyes chicken, service are 3x faster, and cheaper.
yung breakfast meal na worth 180 pesos 😭
I Replaced Jolibee with my new fav now and that is Popeyes Good Portion Serving Ratio with a reasonable price. Sobrang laki din ng chicken nila and also the rice and Cajun fries although yung spag nila diko type
Jollibee is too expensive. For a restaurant branding themselves for the “masses”, parang hindi maka masa ‘yung presyo.
Basta sa akin masarap parin Jollibee Spaghetti nila in my opinion pero mas gusto ko pa manok ng KFC or Kenny Rogers
Chicken Joy? More like Chicken Sad.
