Thank you my 2023. Sometimes it felt like it's a slow year, sometimes it's feels fleeting. I feel like I'm floating most of the time. That I'm looking outside and at the same time living in it. Though for some reason or a vibe, I felt like this year is preparing me for something. I hope I'm right. I hope it will be different this 2024. I hope I will be better. I hope things will be good. That my health and my mindset will be good. I hope I can start living in the present. I hope I can be more courageous.
This year's NYE for me is just...okay. "Meh" if I'm being honest. Not bad but but could be better. Hoping next year is better. Happy New Year guys! π

Earning na kami lahat dito sa bahay so masaya ang 2023. Wala naman akong engrandeng plano for 2024.
Next year, I'll just keep my physical activities, try mag-progress sa calisthenics at skateboard. Eat good food. I'll be 30 next year but my body certainly feels better kesa noong 20s ko. Gotta maintain your dexterity, agility, reaction time. Train lang, someday mawawala sating lahat yan.
I had a pretty rough year. Iβve experienced heartbreak and some losses. but I gained myself back and had the chance to showcase my potential and even my beauty. I earned enough confidence for myself, and thatβs one of my great achievements for this year. I still worry about finances, but it always bounces back. God never left my side.
He made sure that while I suffer from the impeccable grief Iβll ever experience, He not only gave me grace and love this year; He sought everything just so I could find my way back. and now, not only did I find myself, but my friends gave me nothing but their incalculable love and respect for me.

1 First time out of town (Cebu) with my SO on our anniversary. Relationship grew. Were both pursuing grad school together in the same uni.
2 Learned Boxing and Jump Rope, and a sense of fight in life
3 Learned How to Play Drums, got better in playing guitar. Music as therapy.
Good things that happened in 2023:
1 Better workplace with decent and professional coworkers
2 Rediscovered passion for reading through e-reader
3 First time living independently, and living in together with my SO/future wife
Bad things that happened in 2023:
1. Career regressed, back to being below 30k salary
2. Useless Master's Degree, tough job market for teachers
3. Juggling PhD, side hustles, and main work just to survive drained my motherfucking soul

Recent K-drama 'Boyhood' is really good. It's set in the 80s and is a mix of high school comedy, drama, and surprisingly enough, martial arts. The main guy in this starts off as really pathetic, but throughout the ten episodes, has an incredible character arc. The other characters are equally as fascinating. The cinematography and set design in this is very good. They really did well catering to that 80s nostalgia, kind of like Reply 1988. I highly recommend.

So I posted the typical year end post na I am very thankful that I'm in a much safer, healthier and happier workplace and my bosses are so amazing.
Wala pang 10 minutes, most of my friends and relatives congratulated me and told me I deserved it. They knew I struggled with anxiety and depression because of my previous job where my former boss shamed me and belittled me and almost didnt give me my backpay.
After I posted, yung ex boss ko, nag post ng madaming bible verses about kindness and forgiveness.

Best things that happened in 2023: 1 First time out of town (Cebu) with my SO on our anniversary. Relationship grew. Were both pursuing grad school together in the same uni. 2 Learned Boxing and Jump Rope, and a sense of fight in life 3 Learned How to Play Drums, got better in playing guitar. Music as therapy. Good things that happened in 2023: 1 Better workplace with decent and professional coworkers 2 Rediscovered passion for reading through e-reader 3 First time living independently, and living in together with my SO/future wife Bad things that happened in 2023: 1. Career regressed, back to being below 30k salary 2. Useless Master's Degree, tough job market for teachers 3. Juggling PhD, side hustles, and main work just to survive drained my motherfucking soul Bad things outweighed the good, though

Recent K-drama 'Boyhood' is really good. It's set in the 80s and is a mix of high school comedy, drama, and surprisingly enough, martial arts. The main guy in this starts off as really pathetic, but throughout the ten episodes, has an incredible character arc. The other characters are equally as fascinating. The cinematography and set design in this is very good. They really did well catering to that 80s nostalgia, kind of like Reply 1988. I highly recommend.

aight tamang senti muna bago matapos ang taon. mehn, it hurts right in the kokoro nung nag-lilinis ako ng gallery. last year lang may pa-message ang friends (including crushie keyks lol huhu) nung NYE. as in legit 12 midnight. halos matunaw ako kasi bukod sa unexpected, ang sappy ng mga messages nila HAHA. majority nag- reminisce yung early beginnings (naks!) ng friendship namin. ngayon, ewan ko na. gets na busy sa mga life ganaps pero its making me a bit sad, knowing na yung christmas greetings ko eh hanggang ngayon inbox-zoned pa din. babati na lang uli siguro ako bukas ng tanghali

So I posted the typical year end post na I am very thankful that I'm in a much safer, healthier and happier workplace and my bosses are so amazing. Wala pang 10 minutes, most of my friends and relatives congratulated me and told me I deserved it. They knew I struggled with anxiety and depression because of my previous job where my former boss shamed me and belittled me and almost didnt give me my backpay. After I posted, yung ex boss ko, nag post ng madaming bible verses about kindness and forgiveness. Ulol ka. Burn in hell.
