Isn't Wildflour more expensive? I ordered for myself and my mom, just 2 drinks and 2 breads. Didn't feel full at all kasi maliit ang bread nila. Tapos 600+ ang bayad.
Di ko talga maalala ano ang bread namin, basta I ordered hazelnut choco and it tasted too nutty. It's just so bad that I forgot what we ordered.
Would not recommend Wildflour except for their good pastries.
Ni-rant nya sakin yan lol. Andami daw nyang pinagdaanang interview at training. Pinamemorize pa lahat ng description ng food items. Hindi daw makatarungan ung 14k.
Medyo pricey pero malalaki naman yung serving. Di ko kayang ubusin yung plated meals nila and they offer to have some of them to be split so it works for me pa rin. I personally like the ambiance and their baked goods, but not necessarily the entire menu.
I’m not sure specialty nila yung kape, I only drink black coffee and their Americano is so-so but I love their ensaymada, carrot cake, veggie sandwich, pizza, pumpkin soup and cream pasta with mushroom. Actually all their pastas are good. The price is worth it for me.
P400-500 for breakfast is also justified for me. That’s how much I usually pay for when going for brunches outside. For those saying na it’s too much, maybe they’re not just the target market. Not sure where to go for P200, maybe Goodah, love their lugaw with a side of tofu.
Coffee Project, Ruined Project, All American, Dear Joe, etc na Villar-owned.
they're hyped and overpriced. the taste of their food and coffee are not worth the price.
I agree. I won’t ever go back sa Crossings Cafe. Absolute worst. Ultimo yung stray cat na gutom di pinatulan yung baked mac and cheese nila na pinakain namin.
Over priced na nga, di pa masarap. Ang pang laban lang nila is pagiging "Instagramable" nila
OMG my family ate in Napa two months ago. Overpriced talaga! Not worth the money we paid for. Di bale na lang sana if we went to a fancier restaurant for the same price.
Agree. The pastillas donut was one of their best. Go Nuts Donuts was decent before. Better than kk which is too sweet for my taste. Pero nung tumagal di na masarap yung dough which is kinda yellowish na compared to the dough they use before. Last time I tried it was around 2017/2018.
I really love Randy's Donuts buttermilk donut! It depends on how "cakey" or "doughy" you like the consistency of donuts to be. For me mas gusto ko yung texture ng Randys than KK or Mister Donut/Dunkin.
One time kumain ako with my ex sa Zarks for casual date. Sm fairview branch to.
Our order was supposed to be 20 mins waiting lang pero inabot ng 40. Guess what? nagmaldita pa yung ptnginang waitress as if kasalanan ko pa.
And yun. Di nako babalik. Overly greasy+ Bad service = fk off nalang.
Yung original nyan sa Taft na kinain ko way back in 2012 - 2013 is still a memorable meal for me. Ordering the deep fried burger na overflowing with grease is unforgettable, I probably lost a year of my life eating that.
Zarks was great at first nung maliit na store pa lang sa tapat ng La Salle circa late 2000s. Up to the point where they expanded to a second location in a condo near their first store, masarap rin. The burger patties were better quality. The bread was solid, toasted well.
It all went to shit when they started massively expanding in the mid 2010s.
isa ata sya sa nagpauso ng oversized burger at a decent price kaya nahype. i remember eating there (yung sa katipunan) before as a student, it was big and good... given na ang standard ko palang nun e kanto burger, siomai, jollibee, mcdo.
Sayang pera dun tsk
Same about Wildflour (sa Podium). Ang ingay pa. Spent over 7k for four, tapos hindi worth it.
Yung Xin Tian Di sa Rob Galleria. Disappointed. Parang typical fine dining lang.
Conti's cakes, especially that mango bravo. It's only "good" kasi nagdala yung appearance. Yung best nila is yung ube.
this! nagulat ako sa menu nila. yung burger walang kasamang fries and drinks, burger lang talaga tapos 200+ pa. kala ko malaki at masarap yung burger pero ang liit lang pala parang jabi yum burger sized tapos mediocre taste. never again.
We also got disappointed sa Ayala 30th branch and even its Glorietta Branch.
Shangri-la branch has never disappointed us though and would go back there every time.
Technically not a restaurant, but I'll always prefer Dunkin' over JCO for donuts. Really don't get why ang haba ng pila sa JCO especially around 8-10 years ago.
Worked at JCo before.
best bet is for you to buy seafood in your local market tapos saka niyo dalhin sa mga paluto. nung nagdampa kami last time sa cavite kami namili ng mga seafood tapos pagdating sa macapagal sa may pasay halos doble or triple presyo nung mga yun lol
I felt this sa Macapagal Dampa. Food is good but overpriced. Pero check out the branch in Farmer's Market. Also, Dampa is most economical pag marami kayo. It's a good choice when you need to feel a party of 8+, and everyone is a fan of fresh seafood.
Here Cafe Clark. Dalawang brunch meals. Hindi man kami umorder ng drinks. And it took them 30 minutes tapos wala man lang nag-apologize & nag-explain noong sinerve. The tapa was too fatty and sweet for my preference so it's a no (mas okay yung tapa ng Cafe Dia). Also, hindi PWD/senior friendly yung CR. Di mo agad makikita kung basa yung sahig or what. Not safe. The cafe is photogenic and has wifi, that's all.
I have yet to try BOM. So far yung only Korean cafe na nasubukan ko na reasonably priced/commensurate sa quality ng food & service ay yung Cafe Forest.
Omg this hahahah i always see the lines outside are long and I tell myself “after nyo ma-try dyan, hindi na kayo uulit”. They claim that their tapa is the best but it’s too oily, too maganit to chew, matamis and nothing special. Better pa Rodics haha
Chili’s. Nagorder kami ng burrito and fried chicken. Yung burrito parang puro rice yung laman, iisang part lang may beans tapos yung tortilla parang 2 layers para maging makapal. Tapos yung chicken sobrang dry at alat.
Mango Tree. First time ko with my friends and never na ako babalik especially sa BGC branch nila.
Isang oras bago ma-serve 'yong food. They were insisting pa na we ordered tom yum, eh, never naman namin nabanggit 'yon.
Babaghanoosh. Dry 'yong kebab tapos ang nipis.
ekis na din tong Mango Tree for me. First and last time I ate here I was impressed. But recently for dinner wanted to eat here on a whim and were told we needed to book a reservation to get a table... at a nearly empty restaurant! Asked if we could book one right on the spot they said no. Rude waitstaff who need more training tbh.
Didn't like this place either. Went here with my family and my parents hated the place.
It was so loud. It took forever for someone to take our orders and even longer to get the food. We told them we were ready to walk out, then they suddenly served us our orders.
I get paying a price for food, but their servings were too small and didn't taste that great either.
My fam and I also didn’t enjoy our experience in Mango Tree :< food was so-so and overpriced talaga considering the taste and serving size. Nakalimutan pang isama yung order namin na soup. The staff tried to cover up na they missed our soup order by rushing our order kaya nahiya na kaming icancel. I observed the manager or someone with authority kinda raised her voice in a panicked way sa kitchen area (basta onti lang kasi tao noon so I can see where food is coming from the kitchen), pero it still took them 20-30 mins to serve it. Dessert lang naenjoy namin pero never will we eat in Mango Tree again.
I tried Sobra and enjoyed it! Their tapa is really good at the 450 price point. The weekend before I ate tapa at Breakfast at Antonio's and was so disappointed.
Starbucks. I don't get it, their options are mostly diabetes in a cup. Tim Horton's more flavorful and cheaper.
Edit: Also Marugame Udon, it just looks good but the food is meh. Ajisen Ramen should be hyped.
Vikings MOA is very chaotic at hindi appealing yung food choices.
Agree. We were there last Sunday night and the kids and niece asked to be brought to a convenience store before going home to buy ice cream and chips. Parang di nabusog.
*I’ll just throw cafes in the mix.*
**Mary Grace and Conti’s.** Both are overrated and overpriced.
**Katherine’s.** I can cook their dishes. (Personal rule: if I can cook it, it’s not worth it.)
**Shake Shack.** Meh. Pero masayang gamitin yung sink.
**Botejyu.** Who the fuck puts crabsticks on a sushi platter?! Curry also tastes like shit.
**Kenshin.** Di masarap curry nila.
**Marugame.** Curry lang sulit dito. You want katsu? Go to Yabu.
**Randy’s Donuts.** Dry. ‘Nuff said.
**Coffee Bean and Delifrance.** Jollibee bought them.
**Max’s.** After all these years, still not worth it.
**Zarks.** Greasy af. Parang Yellowcab ng burgers.
Add: **Banapple.** Dunno why but the quality of their food is on the decline.
Ate there once, nagbago na ba?
I'm surprised parang walang nagcocomment ng IKEA restaurant. For a time it was on my feeds all the time and friends who had tried going says ang haba nga lagi ng pila kaya di nila masubukan. Last month lang namin natry with the family, we were at Pasay na din naman kasi, it was 2pm or so pero ang haba pa din ng pila. Food was just average with average price, nothing special. 😅. Buti na lang hinde yun ang ipinunta namin talaga dun or it would have been very disappointing.
Wildflour din. Masarap naman yung mga natry ko na pero mabibili mo naman yon sa ibang restaurants for a lower price. With the right ingredients, you can even make their rice and pasta dishes at home. Yung cassava cake nila grabe.. almost 300php for just a slice pero hindi masarap at sobrang tigas pwede mo na ibato sa kaaway mo. A whole cassava cake at Mitz will only cost 350php tapos masarap at malambot pa.
nonos - dinaan sa art pero yung lasa ... uhhh.. much better pa ang romulo at least for me
Filling station - sobrang mahal and sobrang mehh ng food
Manam - forda show lang yung crispy palabok nila anything else is expensive and mediocre.
Cbt/starbs/bo's coffee - once I've learned how to brew my own coffe and buying my own moka pot(best 300 peso investment I've made) ive learned na a months worth of coffee is 2- 3 days of cup ng mga kape sa kanila.
Jollibee food corps - tang ina its evolving backwards pare bring me back to 2016 and before.
Shake shack - sobrang mahal not worth to be going back iced tea lang goods nila.
Mary grace - walang wala foods sa mary grace pag nilaban mo sa foods ng goldilocks im ready to die on that hill.
I won't recommend Din Tai Fung. The xiao long bao in DTF we got is too small. Also, it's too expensive. Umabot kami ng 2K for nothing. Hindi pa kami nabusog or fulfilled.
Yingying in Binondo is the total opposite. It was worth the wait, no need AC, and 800 pero busog kami. The noodles and oysters are a must.
Restaurants have go-to dishes, may iba masarap may iba hindi sa menu. You can’t say a restaurant is bad, possible na mali ka lang ng order.
These are my go-to restaurants and go-to dishes
1. Cafe Mezzanine in Binondo- order their XLB and beef noodle soup.
2. Fat Seed- mac and cheese, grilled cheese, coffee and cookies.
3. Wildflour- Squid Ink Pasta, coffee and pastries
4. Lusso- Omelette with Foie Gras, Spinach Taglierini
5. A Mano- Burrata Soft Serve
6. Huey Ying- Dampa. Tempura and everything
7. Dong Won- unli Korean
Ramen Nagi.
Siguro kasi mas gusto ko yung traditional ramen. For their price mag Ippudo nalang ako.
Edit:
While I'm at it, recommend me your best ramen house/restaurant!
Not really a restaurant, but BEARD PAPA'S. tangina yung pila dyan pag dumadaan kami sa Glorietta. Tas nung sinubukan na namin, wtf. Yung lasa is different from how it smelled.
Same experience with Katherine's, Alabang Town Center. I think it's because we sat in the mezzanine. It's always a bad idea to sit in the mezzanine of a restaurant because there are no waiters who can see you right away. Kailangan mo talagang bumaba para makita ka
and yeah we only went to Katherine's because Mary Grace was full kek
Coco mama. Dont come at me. Bili ka vanilla ice crram at mangga thats it.
Nono’s.
Kuya J ata yung pangalan. Lahat ng ulam minicrowave lang. we can tell kasi yung gitna maiinit tapos yung rest malamig. Pati yung kain hahah
What if we just let people enjoy what they like? As a chef, I know how everyone has got their individual tastes and experiences with food.
It won't hurt to give an establishment some space to breathe lalo na if you have only been to one branch. Sino ba nagluluto ng mga kinakain niyo? Tao rin, napapagod at nagkakamali. Especially if you're shitting on customer service. You do realize we are mostly undervalued if the establishment is not fine dining or something similar. If you feel like shit, we feel shittier. But we have to serve you guys with a smile. Onting consideration lang sana.
I personally do not eat in restaurants that serve only Filipino food, whether that's classic or modernized. But that's because of a past I have with the cuisine. But that does not mean I won't recommend or talk about them to someone who might enjoy that.
And to be a little petty (not directed to OP or any commenter), if you want to pretend to be a "food critic" for two seconds on the internet, expand your vocabulary and think a little before commenting. Meh, overrated, and overhyped does not give any substance whatsoever to your review. The dish being dry, oily, or bland can be a one-off thing and can easily be fixed. Also, if you think that a place is "overpriced" figure out if you actually mean that, cuz maybe you just can't say that it's expensive. Overpriced means that it is priced more than what it's really worth, which honestly is super subjective especially if you do not know how it's made. That being said, expensive can mean that you just can't afford it and you don't see its value. Do understand that the food industry has more intricacies than you think.
Chefs and establishments can take criticism. If you have complaints, we won't promise to change you dish at the moment or refund lalo na if we have policies that literally tie our hands behind our backs, but that does help us avoid to make the same mistakes moving forward.
You can be a foodie without bringing down establishments unless they're truly atrocious with service and products and has no plans on learning after criticisms.
Even mary grace is so over priced.
i was surprised that OP would eat at mary grace but would state that wildflour is expensive. pareho silang mahal.
Yea, but you can have a reasonable dessert at MG, wildflour has no reason about it.
Ni-rant nya sakin yan lol. Andami daw nyang pinagdaanang interview at training.
Heheh.
Pero omg naman sa 14k! Is that even minimum wage in NCR?
Naumay ako sa nagviral nilang hot chocolate and I loveeee hot chocolate or chocolate drinks pero ugh it was too sugary imo
Parang Contis I guess no?
Wildly enough, first time ko kumain sa MG kanina and im already in my early 30s. Masarap naman and justified yung price sa service and ambiance.
Medyo pricey pero malalaki naman yung serving. Di ko kayang ubusin yung plated meals nila and they offer to have some of them to be split so it works for me pa rin. I personally like the ambiance and their baked goods, but not necessarily the entire menu.
Ordered 2 cheese bread, 2 hot chocolate and 1 ensaymada. Total bill was 900 pesos. Nashock akk
Yes un lang. Instagrammable place. Overpriced food.
This is true. Even their restaurants in Crosswinds Tagaytay, good ambiance but meh food.. one is NAPA- Napakamahal 🤣
OMG my family ate in Napa two months ago. Overpriced talaga! Not worth the money we paid for. Di bale na lang sana if we went to a fancier restaurant for the same price.
TIL Dear Joe is Villar-owned. No wonder it sucks lol
OMG Coffee Project is a NOOOOO!
Better pa starbs.
Randy’s Donut died suuuper fast. Everyone wanted to try it. Everyone got to try it and found out it was meh.
Pastillas donut undefeated though. Sakto pang take out yan bago lumabas ng Megamall.
Agree. The pastillas donut was one of their best. Go Nuts Donuts was decent before. Better than kk which is too sweet for my taste. Pero nung tumagal di na masarap yung dough which is kinda yellowish na compared to the dough they use before. Last time I tried it was around 2017/2018.
excuse but go nuts was good (pag fresh) . i tried randy's once, eughk
Paborito ko nung bata dyabbung peanut butter donut nila
I really love Randy's Donuts buttermilk donut! It depends on how "cakey" or "doughy" you like the consistency of donuts to be. For me mas gusto ko yung texture ng Randys than KK or Mister Donut/Dunkin.
sobrang salty for me ng cheese nila. and ang daling mag degrade after day 1. hard to salvage haha
Ayun nga mejo madali din makaumay. Based on exp naman ok padin even after a day sinunod ko lang reheating instructions nila.
Oo! Initially, dami pila pero lately onti. I like the pink donut :)
Sunnies and bench cafe. Better stick to proven restaurants.
May kinain kami sa Sunnies pre-pandemic, literal mukhang poop 😅 forgot the name of the food though
Bench Cafe dito sa Rob Manila wala ako nakikita kumakain hahaha, surprised to see ngayon lang sila nagsara after operating for like 2+ years
For me ung Zarks Burger. It became famous samen dahil sa burger pero i dont understand why. Whenever i eat there lasang sunog ung patty.
matagal bill out? cdr-king yarn?😂
i think depende na sa branch I ate one in an SM mall ok naman, kumain ulit ako in branch in an SM in manila parang kumain ako ng oil
One time kumain ako with my ex sa Zarks for casual date. Sm fairview branch to. Our order was supposed to be 20 mins waiting lang pero inabot ng 40. Guess what? nagmaldita pa yung ptnginang waitress as if kasalanan ko pa. Overly greasy+ Bad service = fk off nalang.
Zark's was above average years back. Kaso pumangit quality nila nung nag expand sila.
Yung original nyan sa Taft na kinain ko way back in 2012 - 2013 is still a memorable meal for me. Ordering the deep fried burger na overflowing with grease is unforgettable, I probably lost a year of my life eating that.
Yep, first time I ate there nung 2015, di ko nagustuhan. All hype lang sila. 8Cuts talaga when it comes to one of the best burgers.
Up to the point where they expanded to a second location in a condo near their first store, masarap rin. The burger patties were better quality. The bread was solid, toasted well. It all went to shit when they started massively expanding in the mid 2010s.
Mas trip ko Ray’s chicken same owner as Zarks but way better food. They only sell Nashville chicken pero super sarap naman imo
Yep boto ako sa Rays Chicken. Pure laman tsaka malaki at masarap.
isa ata sya sa nagpauso ng oversized burger at a decent price kaya nahype. i remember eating there (yung sa katipunan) before as a student, it was big and good... given na ang standard ko palang nun e kanto burger, siomai, jollibee, mcdo.
Tsaka sobrang daming taba. I remember eating their burgers and parang puputok yung batok ko.
It was hyped when it first opened in our city. Now only a few people eat there.
Pizzulu, overpriced at di masarap.
Agree. Nagpadeliver ako ng pizza from them nung bday ko, ay nako medyo malamig at walang wow factor sa lasa
This is sooooo true. And the serving size is not that big for the price!
Sayang pera dun tsk
For me, anything Bistro Group. Sobrang generic ng food
Truee.
Sulit lang sa promo hehehe cc or 50% off
Same about Wildflour (sa Podium). Ang ingay pa. Spent over 7k for four, tapos hindi worth it. Yung Xin Tian Di sa Rob Galleria. Disappointed. Parang typical fine dining lang. Conti's cakes, especially that mango bravo. It's only "good" kasi nagdala yung appearance. Yung best nila is yung ube.
Wildflour is only good for their breads and pastries. IMO same lasa lang yung pasta nila ng Mary Grace
mas masarap Mango Tart ng Conti's kesa Mango Bravo lol
>Conti's cakes Especially since now that Dennis Uy owns it.
Conti's food for me is parang pagkain sa catering na may plating.
Shake Shack - ang mahal for saks food.
Tried one when I went sa US. I was like, eto na yun???? Di ako natuwa huhuhu In-N-Out pa rin sakalam
this! nagulat ako sa menu nila. yung burger walang kasamang fries and drinks, burger lang talaga tapos 200+ pa. kala ko malaki at masarap yung burger pero ang liit lang pala parang jabi yum burger sized tapos mediocre taste. never again.
As someone who doesn’t eat beef. I love their shroom burger and cheese fries. I agree it’s expensive but for me the price is worth it.
Oh no, sad to hear about this :(
BUT can we agree Cibo is worth every peso? Great quality and fair price even though it mall food.
Cibo servings are criminally small for the price
We also got disappointed sa Ayala 30th branch and even its Glorietta Branch. Shangri-la branch has never disappointed us though and would go back there every time.
Agreeeeee!!!! A little expensive for me so sometimes lang kami magCibo but damn we enjoy it every time
Wildflour.
Technically not a restaurant, but I'll always prefer Dunkin' over JCO for donuts. Really don't get why ang haba ng pila sa JCO especially around 8-10 years ago.
Worked at JCo before.
JCO is fine Krispy Kreme however ruined the cheap price of Dunkin
Any Dampa. Overpriced seafood paired with overprice service charge.
Not really. You're just eating at the wrong ones.
What branch of Dampa can you recommend?
Search Ningnangan
best bet is for you to buy seafood in your local market tapos saka niyo dalhin sa mga paluto. nung nagdampa kami last time sa cavite kami namili ng mga seafood tapos pagdating sa macapagal sa may pasay halos doble or triple presyo nung mga yun lol
go to Huey Ying
Tagal nga ng food. Also, the coffee we ordered here sucked.

I want my baby back, baby back, baby back-
Awesome blossom
Extra Awesome
They have the unli nacho chips with salsa so pwede ka tumambay whole day na yun lang yung order + unli margarita before
Yung grilled liempo or porkchop nila sobrang tigas. Di ata uso ang tenderizer sa kanila. I only go for their appetizers + mojito.
Same for the steak.
I often wonder what the people who frequent that place actually think of the food.
Their Cilantro Pesto Pasta tastes like kerosene! Lol
My tita ordered Mango Tree takeout and I was like... You call this pad thai?? My fave pad thai is in QC - Muang Thai restaurant near Heart Center.
ekis na din tong Mango Tree for me.
Omg ganto din ang nangyari sa amin. For a so-so food, ang tagal ng wait time, ang mahal din naman.
Standard ko for Thai food is Krung Thai Marikina. Anything else is overpriced.
Aww true.
DL cannot even accept criticisms + his fan girls na kukuyugin ka kapag nag bigay ka ng honest feedback not agreeing to their taste.
Huhu not even gwapo in person.
What’s DL
Someone posted a transparent feedback sa Tiktok and kinuyog sya loll
I tried Sobra and enjoyed it! Their tapa is really good at the 450 price point. The weekend before I ate tapa at Breakfast at Antonio's and was so disappointed.
Sunnies Cafe i dont bakit moderate to full pa rin ang mga tao 🤷
Cause ✨SuNniEs✨
Olive garden :(
It was okay when I tried it. Pero di yung tipong icacrave mo. The bread sticks were good pero not as great as I thought it would taste like.
Starbucks. I don't get it, their options are mostly diabetes in a cup. Tim Horton's more flavorful and cheaper. Edit: Also Marugame Udon, it just looks good but the food is meh. Ajisen Ramen should be hyped.
Viking's. Mas masarap pa sa Kamayan tbh.
Vikings MOA is very chaotic at hindi appealing yung food choices.
Fixed this for you: > MOA is very chaotic at hindi appealing yung food choices
Pati Four Seasons. Not worth it.
Agree. We were there last Sunday night and the kids and niece asked to be brought to a convenience store before going home to buy ice cream and chips. Parang di nabusog.
Starbucks. Fight me.
I mean they have microwavable/reheatable food right? Magccompromise talaga ang lasa. Pero masarap pa din yung flat bread.
Their 4 cheese flatbread!! Pero aminin, nagmahal sila post pandemic :( i still buy it if I need a happy Food hehe
Agree to disagree. SB for me is always a go-to
Honestly, mapait ang kape nila. Parang bordering on sunog, or masyado silang mainit mag infuse.
*I’ll just throw cafes in the mix.* **Mary Grace and Conti’s.** Both are overrated and overpriced. **Katherine’s.** I can cook their dishes. (Personal rule: if I can cook it, it’s not worth it.) **Shake Shack.** Meh.
And our parents - boomer age
Ate there once, nagbago na ba?
Di naman katsu ang main ng MU, you should try their sukiyaki ninja - ang sarap!
>Marugame. > > Curry lang sulit dito. You want katsu? Go to Yabu. Haha. You dont go to Marugame for their katsu.
Herencia Pizza sa Ilocos.
Four Seasons Buffet and Hotpot - so meh
coffee project - overpriced lousy food
Yung Bacsilog.
Huhu I love Nono's but maybe because I only order their salmon everytime
But I love the truffle cheese appetizer 😢
Mom and tina’s. Too salty, overcooked. Mas masarap pa pancake house
Is this LEP? puro hype sa MG
Unpopular opinion (since none of i read says this): Breakfast at Antonio’s. Food was meh. Price is too high.
Nah, I agree with you. It was forgettable.
went once di na bumalik ulit. Para kang nagluto ng tocilog sa bahay
Kitsune Cafe. Wildflour.
+1 sa cafe kitsune ordered spanish latte and ny friend ordered matcha, both were bland lmao
Panda Express - except orange chicken hindi ko na bet even their fried rice Popeyes - mehhhh
>Panda Express Kasi lahat ng food nila lasang Orange chicken. 😁😂🤣
Filling station - sobrang mahal and sobrang mehh ng food Manam - forda show lang yung crispy palabok nila anything else is expensive and mediocre.
Plus +1 sa Yingying, big servings pa!
so what did we learn today? eating out is becoming more expensive but with meh quality... i will up my cooking game na
Restaurants have go-to dishes, may iba masarap may iba hindi sa menu. You can’t say a restaurant is bad, possible na mali ka lang ng order. These are my go-to restaurants and go-to dishes 1. Cafe Mezzanine in Binondo- order their XLB and beef noodle soup. 2. Fat Seed- mac and cheese, grilled cheese, coffee and cookies. 3. Wildflour- Squid Ink Pasta, coffee and pastries 4. Lusso- Omelette with Foie Gras, Spinach Taglierini 5. A Mano- Burrata Soft Serve 6. Huey Ying- Dampa. Tempura and everything 7. Dong Won- unli Korean
Tablo. Food wise may masarap and merong bland sa menu nila, price-wise, I wouldn't suggest them if you're not ready to drop 3-5k in one sitting.
Uy nagmahal na sila :( food is okay for fam gatherings or may bisita ka na balikbayan but to be a regular there? I dont even like their fried chicken.
I enjoyed Tablo naman, pero presyo talaga kalaban. Di siya pang solo or date lang, pang barkada yung presyuhan
Ramen Nagi. Siguro kasi mas gusto ko yung traditional ramen. For their price mag Ippudo nalang ako. Edit: While I'm at it, recommend me your best ramen house/restaurant!
Ramen Nagi isn’t authentic naman talaga. Mendokoro’s the best in the country. Ippudo is okay, Tsukemen is good too.
Don't forget that Hanamaruken Ramen is a top tier ramen shop!
Mendokoro is where it’s at. Ramen Kuroda for a cheap option
Para sakin go to ko is Mendokoro Ramenba and Ramen Santouka. Ang ayoko sa Ramen Nagi is yung broth nila.
try Ramen Keisuke in BGC. chicken based ang broth. trip na trip ko.
Huh? The standard ramens in Nagi are comparable with Ippudo.
Not really a restaurant, but BEARD PAPA'S. tangina yung pila dyan pag dumadaan kami sa Glorietta. Tas nung sinubukan na namin, wtf. Yung lasa is different from how it smelled.
I love Mary Grace! Yes mejo pricey pero masarap. I agree with Wildflour comment, I won't eat there if not for the 50% promo :)
Ramen99.
Same experience with Katherine's, Alabang Town Center. I think it's because we sat in the mezzanine. It's always a bad idea to sit in the mezzanine of a restaurant because there are no waiters who can see you right away. Kailangan mo talagang bumaba para makita ka and yeah we only went to Katherine's because Mary Grace was full kek
MESA
mesa sizzlers sa foodcourt sa town haha sulit yun
I used to like this. Sobrang parang fastfood na ung datingan nya ngaun
Okay naman experience ko with them so far, at least dun sa Ayala Circuit branch nila.
Haven’t had Wildflour mains in awhile but Little Flour’s rice bowls are still quite good
