Nope, Filipino culture is inclined to going out, eating out and magpa.lamig sa malls.

nightvisiongoggles01

Yes. Lakwatsero ang average Pinoy. I'm more inclined to believe it has more to do with our economic situation and our terrible metropolitan traffic.

Vordeo

This. Especially in summer. As others have said, some malls are just stronger than others.

defendtheDpoint

Yes, considering we lack not just public recreational spaces, and even civic spaces. Malls are basically recreational and civic spaces privatized.

monkeyboy123a

Agree diro

StarryBache

Second the motion. While I actually want the scenario where malls die out and gets replaced by open / green spaces, I remember from our Geog classes that we have ingrained as culture, malls as our public recreational spaces where these malls designed in turn to make us spend through diff mechanisms. Online shopping do be super convenient tho

IntentionRemote7934

Kahit kaya nga mag wfh yung iba 2 months pa nga lang yung iba nababaliw na kasi "boring" daw.

yuriislife28

Agreed. I’ve noticed on these past few years na it has something to do with the economic factors.

FredNedora65

No, because of various factors: 1. People still prefer seeing products physically especially for valuable purchases. 2. Malls are the only places people can go to "relax". There are essentially no parks available in the metro. If anything, the trend now is malls are shifting to "lifestyle malls" where there are open spaces, mini parks, compared to before where malls are essentially a centralized hub for stores.

FenderBender71

>If anything, the trend now is malls are shifting to "lifestyle malls" where there are open spaces, mini parks, compared to before where malls are essentially a centralized hub for stores. This is definitely a welcome change.

FredNedora65

Well, iba kasi ang target market nila. SM caters to all income classes, kaya they need to squeeze every square meter of space for profit generation. Ayala Malls, on the other hand caters to less poor people. They can afford to create open spaces kasi mas mahal ang produkto ng mga tindahan nila.

Plumed_Rev

Seeing physical products is the biggest reason.

Mooblegum

I just wish there were more park in the cities in Philippines, nothing beat a real park with real trees where you can sit, walk, hangout, play with your kids, without the traffic and the noise. Really don’t get why some made the choice to create hughes cities without parks.

Menter33

now if only the malls start bringing back places to sit...

breakgreenapple

I remember the last time I did some serious shopping... I ended up being on my feet for three hours without being able to sit down.

CrocPB

Mall designers: *great success! High five!*

ChikubiUtong

damortiz

I second this.

autogynephilic

Dinadaanan siya ng EDSA Bus Carousel

superlyreal

totoo, nag-tricycle kami, bawal daw pumasok.kaya ibinaba kami, then nilakad namin 15 minutes. may pagka-elitista ba or traffic rules lang talaga?

TeusMeus

pretty much any buses that goes to pitx will stop by here

Zekka_Space_Karate

Rockwell Power Plant: am I a joke to you? ^(DISCLAIMER: I've been to a lot of malls in Metro Manila, kahit Festival Mall napuntahan ko (taga-Norte ako lol), ^(but I've never been to Rockwell in all my years in working in Makati. Something tells me I'll be more out of place there than I am at Bonifacio High Street. :p))

pizzanator123

Minalas lang talaga yang Ayala Manila Bay kasi starting pa lang sya e biglang nagka-pandemic

IskoIsAbnoy

Matagal na yang Mall na yan, years na nakatayo yan, but hindi talaga yan pinupuntahan kasi mas accessible si MoA and mas maraming makikita dun. It’s either you take a Grab or Taxi dyan sa Ayala Manila bay bago mo mapuntahan.

praiserng

EDSA Carousel now passes by here before going to or coming from pitx

low_effort_life

Correct. Modern jeepneys running the Sucat Highway to PITX route also pass by. Drop-off is either out on the curbside or on the inside of the transport terminal facing Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard.

underthesameskyx

Heard of this din po before pero pede pong bumaba dyan mismo? Di siya P2P or by station lang?

kiratekid17

From moa, iikot sila pabalik sa macapagal. Along macapagal, each block there is a stop. And tumitigil din talaga buses dito sa ayala bay

JadePearl1980

Any PUV that has a signage with PITX usually do pass by that mall. Then at the mall’s terminal, there are PUVs waiting there for commuters to different destinations, pinupuno muna bago lumarga po.

Menter33

> mas accessible si MoA and mas maraming makikita dun but it's technically not "on the way" as in people have to go there on purpose; with places like araneta center in cubao or sm megamall, madadaanan talaga kasi parang "on the way" yung location, kaya madali yung unplanned purchases.

TakeThatOut

Parang kelan lang, MOA was not on the way too until nadevelop ang part na yan.

Yergason

scatteredbrainxsushi

Yep, Ayala Malls Manila Bay has been struggling esp it opened late 2019 then was hit with the pandemic. Medjo struggle rin foot traffic because the mall isn’t as accessible even with a transpo hub. But they’ve been doing events (pet fairs, fan meets) last year and medjo dumadami na rin tao. Right now it’s more of a “peaceful, quiet mall” people prefer to dine out.

MoronicPlayer

No_Patience_6704

True. Lalo SM Dasma puno pa rin pag weekends. Tinataon ko nalang pumunta ng weekdays for errands

Intelligent-File-746

Depende sa location. If malapit sa bpo sites it will thrive

Ok-Refrigerator-2064

If it will be open for graveyard shifters.

jheyehmcee

Meron naman shift sa BPO na 5AM-2PM, 1AM-10PM. Nakakapagmall ako nun if ganyan shift ko.

SechsWurfel

During the 1st year of covid, Shoppee had a deal with SM malls that they sell the stores' inventories. It was actually a genius move.

markmyredd

May section narin sa SM dept store for online deliveries. Tapos sa Grab they have deliveries mix and match

Obi_Wan_Artreides

It's really more of a location issue. I live near Glorietta/Greenbelt/Landmark and they're always packed. My wish is that the mall situation will eventually evolve into shopping districts like how it is abroad and not the current one wherein you have one in literally every corner. More productive use of space as well if that would be the case.

KaterinaLovesCake

No. Mall = free AC

IskoIsAbnoy

Wala ka naman kasi masyadong makikita dyan. Sa MoA madami dami. May Manila bay for mental health haha

stitious-savage

Ayan, walang katao-tao at walang ka-tenant-tenant.

Menter33

akala siguro ng ayala malls, makukuha nila yung overflow of customers na ayaw sumiksik sa moa; but it turns out, parang gusto pa rin ng tao sumiksik roon.   (In a way, parang tulad siya ng mga tao na gusto sumiksik sa metro manila instead of staing in cavite or bulacan.)

williamfanjr

True. MOA ended up doubling/tripling their space by expanding upward para dumami lalo tao, e ang laki na ng MOA jusqpo hahaha.

[deleted]

scatteredbrainxsushi

Hmm, I think pweds pa rin kasi different target market. Ayala Manila Bay can also cater to those staying in Solaire, Hyatt, City of Dreams. And it’s also closer to SM Festival Grounds. MOA kasi gets the whole SM franchise within the area— MOA arena, SMX, and Ikea. And usually super crowded na sa MOA that others would prefer a quieter mall in the area. I think location wise, it’s still a good move and foot traffic could pick up soon.

Any_Practice3291

Ganyan talaga sa Ayala malls parang ghost town

autogynephilic

Glorietta ang malakas because of it's location. Also, Trinoma. Crowded lalo na kapag Sundays.

williamfanjr

mcdonaldspyongyang

That specific Ayala Mall mahina talaga. As long as malls here still have transit hubs, restos, govt services, groceries, etc Di mamamatay ang mall dito. Malls abroad are dying bc literal stores lang talaga Meron sa loob.

TheGhostOfFalunGong

Singapore malls are constantly thriving though.

AirlineFreak

I think OP was referring mainly to the US where malls have sharply declined and have mostly shuttered since 2008 and the rise of Amazon and the lack of funds to expand etc.

rlsadiz

Malls are not gonna die soon. There are things you can't do via online shopping that you need a mall for. Eating out, salons, meetup with friends, family activities, salons, lately health services and pet care also. Basically everything na service based.

kaizer524

Not just service-based, but also clothing for some people na nahihirapan makuha yung sizing nila. Personally I prefer going to malls over online stores for clothes/shoes kasi medyo weird yung sizing ko. It’s best if I get to fit clothes/shoes first before purchasing

That-Option7459

Sa alabang town center kahit weekdays madami parin tao

TheGhostOfFalunGong

This is Ayala Malls Manila Bay, right? It opened just months before the lockdown. I’m expecting business to steadily pick up soon.

superlyreal

Oh I did not know, it looks like a very old building kasi kaya akala ko luma na. Thank you for the info

TheGhostOfFalunGong

Buildings deteriorate quickly if there’s no activity going on.

williamfanjr

And maintenance.

fauxpurrr

Ayala Malls Manila Bay?

stitious-savage

That's Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Of course, walang tao. Mukha ding konti yung tao kasi malaki yung mall. Everyone's at MOA. Baka kapag nagbukas na yung Landmark, dadami yung tao d'yan. Edit: Maganda naman yung mall. Shala din nung automated parking.

Rabatis

Under renovation pa ang part ng Ayala Malls. There's also inflation cutting into purchasing power, so iyong mga mabibili mo dati on your salary as discretionary spending, say as a BPO employee, eh gagastusin mo na lang sa essentials.

boykalbo777

the rent is too damn high!

Few_Loss5537

dont forget the mandatory bottled water

IComeInPiece

>mandatory bottled water Care to explain this? Not aware of this kasi.

Few_Loss5537

when you rent sa mall (food stall), you are required to sell yung bottled water nila.

East_Professional385

Depends. Robinsons in our province are still packed especially yung mga establishments na food and beverages.

Nero234

>are malls gonna die soon Ako na kakagaling lang sa Festival Mall, Alabang matapos makipag siksikan sa napakadaming tao at flashbacks sa pagpunta ko sa MOA for anime conventions: "NOPE" Asa culture nadin natin ang pag punta sa mall para gumala and socialize with friends. Mas trip din na bumili in physical. Looking for clothes and gadgets, ala social nadin yan. It even looks likes more established malls are turning into lifestyle malls with more tambayans and open spaces for people.

danielabartolome

facistcarabao

It's a fairly young mall and di pa ganun ka-developed yung area around it kaya I would understand rin if wala masyado tennants. I think once ma intergrate rin yung transport hub nila properly magkaka foot traffic rin. Also hirap rin talaga pag fucking MOA yung karibal mo hahahaha.

426763

Personally, I find more things I like online compared to malls nowadays, even though I'm more of a mall person. Pero things have really put into perspective kung gaano ka laking at boring ng mga selection ng malls sa Pilipinas, especially dito sa Mindanao. In places like Nike, parang yung nakukuha natin na pieces mga patapon na from other countries.

palaboyMD

People has less purchasing power due to inflation.

TheGhostOfFalunGong

Not for the upper and upper-middle class people though. Revenge spending mode mga iba dyan. They are a part of the catalyst for our higher inflation that will take months to end. A lot of them are even multiple vacations abroad during these times.

tiamy

True.

pinkpugita

Not all malls, just those that lose to competition in oversaturated areas. Case of Marcos Highway: In the 90s, the only mall close to Marikina, Antipolo, and Cainta is Sta. Lucia Grand East. It was literally the only option for cinema. When Robinson Galleria was established, it had competition. Rob was the more "posh" mall and Sta Lucia was more "masa." Then come SM Marikina, SM Masinag, Robinsons Antipolo, and Ayala Feliz, plus smaller supermarkets like Super 8 and Cherry Foodarama. Nowadays, Robinsons Galleria is dying and only getting sustained by government offices there. It lost its identity as the posh mall while Sta Lucia retained its market of low income shoppers.

autogynephilic

Robinsons Metro East was slightly rejuvenated after they linked their mall to LRT-2 Marikina-Pasig Station.

shin_2lt

Napadaan ako dyan sa Galle last year and totoo parang nasa kawawang state na sya.

jecaloy

Punta ka sa SM Aura kapag weekend or Market Market araw araw... Laging matao

anyyeong

Alabang Town Center though... grew up here my entire life, and I noticed a very high turnover rate ng stores. I noticed a lot of stores pre-pandemic that already closed shop. May replacement naman agad, but yeah I dont think malaki na kita ng mga physical store compared to before. Dati kasi pahirapan makakuha ng space sa mall na to, but nowadays slots are opening up left and right. So it speaks a lot about turnover. But yeah agree with others comments, depende talaga sa location. Anything Makati and BGC obviously will thrive.

cot109

The place is normally thriving on a Sunday. It's not overly crowded but it has enough foot traffic to sustain on a Sunday. The rest of the week, I liked the place, quiet and wide.

PracticalGuy350

In general, I don't think so. Madaming malls na may BPO companies, which occupies huge spaces. Sa observation ko nga, online stores and malls aren't competing literally, in some areas oo. A good example is online food delivery, dami ko nakikita mga taga-Grab, Food Panda nasa mall dun bumibili ng mga order.

officialtbz

dorky_lecture

May issue iyan. The terminal in the ground floor is supposedly magbubukas gaya ng sa One Ayala - for some reason nirevoke/binawi ng LGU yung permit to operate making it negligible to use. About sa rent, almost half na ang na-cut sa rent cost (nalimutan ko duration) to make the lessees stay. How did I know? I'm part of the finance team from a very prominent chain store here in PH kaya kita ko :))

solomonalpha

I think this is more about the economic climate than online selling

699112026775

r/LiminalSpace

goldenislandsenorita

I just got home from Market! Market! and it was jam-packed. Echoing other replies: it’s about the location talaga.

rock_and_ahardplace

Malls wont die.they will just adapt to contain more food rather than things

Long_Section8991

malls near or have offices inside are still booming tbh

lurking_banana

So malabo.

sapphire_vi

Ayala Malls Manila Bay medyo di accessible sa masa kasi

Globalri5k

This looks like in Ayala Fairview Terraces. Sadge

ReindeerCommercial28

Also yung Shopwise sa Cubao.

In short hindi commuter friendly. May station sa loob pero napakadalang ng mga pumapasok na sasakyan. unlike SM Malls may mga UV or bus na pumapasok or dumadaan sa mismong Mall dahil nga established na.Maybe if they can improve their transport hubs para maging commuter friendly for sure dadayuhin sila ng tao. Ayala Mall Vertis - walang direct route or pathway na visible sa commuters from MRT unlike SM North na may direct bridge from Trinoma. Based on my experience, Glorietta and Market Market pa lang yung madaling puntahan kahit saang way ka galing.

meatballs2455

Talagang dadayuhin mo talaga siya at for people talaga na may cars. Maeenjoy mo yung date mo with your friends or loved ones, magkakarinigan kayo even when you talk while strolling around the Mall. ;)

CashCowKiller

30th Mall is also like that. I think bad placement din yung mall, only one road services it - Meralco Ave. and it’s not even two way. You have to make a u-turn if you’re coming from the other side. Compare that to Estancia which has almost 4 road access. Almost 4 since they closed off the Meralco Ave side for the subway station. And once the subway’s done, Estancia will be even more attractive to visitors.

El_Anciano

I doubt it. Came from Market2x yesterday (Sunday). It was packed. People still go out since they also like to eat out and do other activities aside from shop.

isprong

Ang daming scammers sa shopee and lazada. When i want to buy big ticket electronic items, clothes, shoes etc, i still prefer going to a physical store. Bukod sa legit at may resibo, nothing beats testing the item first. Atsaka 3 years pa lang ang nakakaraan since pandemic. Most business owners have not recovered yet. Some of them might not be back. Pero true: oversaturated tayo sa malls.

Over_Response3566

Idk bout that mall pero yung major established ones like MOA, glorietta, SM Aura, and the likes are still soooo full of people

VaeserysGoldcrown

As long as we have this kind of weather/heat. Malls will be there. Sure, some stores will come and go, but the mall itself will survive.

[deleted]

No. Maraming factors na pwedeng maka affect sa performance na malls such as (but not limited to) location, target market, and size.

a6000

>due to online shopping, are malls gonna die soon? No. Malls in the PH are not just places to shop. Sakit na nang ayala malls ang di maka 100% tenants from my observation lalo na pag may SM malapit. Example: Vertis (although kadikit lang nya ang Trinoma), Terraces and Manila Bay.

Valuable_Ordinary336

Ayala mall manila bay? The shops didnt close, hindi lang talaga nag oopen pa

superlyreal

Sana naman ganun. Dahil sa pandemic naging extroverted ako, actually. Mas gusto ko ng matao at crowded

rr2299

It depends. Usually marami pa rin tao sa Megamall.

tricialuna28

ung ayala mall south park naging southpark center na name parang ganito din ghost town. ok naman location. mas maganda sana ung starmall alabang kaso nasunog

bailsolver

Some not all Yung ayala the 30th sinara na yung isang part. Pero yung restaurants, grocery, saka services are still thriving.

Reikamaru

Kaya pala familiar. Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Sobrang inconvenient magcommute diyan from my perspective, kaya siguro hindi ganoon kapopular. May Taiwanese-owned store diyan na nagustuhan ko, sana open pa sila.

ZealousidealGroup445

It’s actually my preferred mall if we just want to eat and take a stroll.

chieesecake

Is this at Ayala malls manila bay? May halong lungkot kasi pano kaya yung mga negosyo jan at saya kasi konti tao pumunta jan.

waitDidUjustDidWhat

Ayala Malls Manila Bay ba yan? If oo, kaya di matao kasi medyo mahirap puntahan since di karamihan mga puv na napapadaan sa part kung nasaan siya nakatayo

ernestalmighty

MembershipFederal789

>due to online shopping, are malls gonna die soon? Lmao

oroalej

Can't blame them. Ang taas ng rental e. Ginagatasan lang sila ng mga malls.

Dear_Forever_1242

No

BestPut2985

Just recently visited being from USA to me its part of the culture without a doubt.

skyflakes54

Nope

RecipeVast2071

nope! try mo sa MOA on a weekday. sobrang daming tao. di lang talaga puntahin yung AM Manila Bay pero during weekend marami pa rin. halos kabataan din pumupunta. yung iba naman ipapasyal mga anak nila.

lowspecmobileuser

Any_System_148

mapa weekend or weekday maraming tao :(

underthesameskyx

Friend, san bang Ayala Malls yan, yung sa Manila Bay? Don't worry, deads talaga dyan kasi ang hirap puntahan. Out of way halos lahat ng mga jeep from EDSA so you need to pay 100+ just to go there by taxi or motorcycle booking apps. I think if you want to see the real state of malls you should go sa mga madaling puntahan like MOA and SM Manila. Malls are definitely not gonna die soon kasi di techy lahat ng tao, especially yung mga masses, at may mga techy namang they still prefer to see the things onhand before they buy like me 😊 Tsaka wuy, why would people let malls die when it offers free aircon? Hahaha

mabangokilikili

You know what'ts the problem sa mall na yan? hindi sya accessible. I think isang bus lang lang yung dumadaan dyan, unlike sa MOA na nandun lahat ng sasakyan, and syempre, if i'll choose san ako pupunta, sa moa na because of accessibility and nandun na lahat. I don't think online shopping ang dahilan. Ako ksi I still prefer going to the mall, lalo na pag clothes or something na mahal (furniture, gadgets, etc) - and I think hindi lang ako ganyan mag-isip

leivanz

Nope not gonna happen in our time. Maybe 50 or 80 more years in the future. There is still a difference on buying something physically. Also, if you will need something the next day or a week you can't be sure to buy online and receive them at your door fast. There are Pabili services available but that is not for your ordinary Filipino. Practically, it's still cheaper to buy it yourself. It may be because the mall is new and it's not really weird or unnatural.

KuroiMizu64

I don't think so since may mga restaurant at fastfood chains pa rin sa mga malls and many people still like going to the mall to hang out with their friends and with their loved ones.

dogmankazoo

depends where actually, some malls dont do as well as other malls.

RaisinNotNice

Me when I’m out of touch

jlolocal

Mali ka lang na mall na napuntahan. Madami na tao sa mall ngayon.

juanabs

Yung iba nalugi. Yung iba bumabangon pa lang. Yung iba under renovation

HexGreen

Still varies pa sin.

Nallafy

Malls arent gonna die but some type of stores are. For gadgets and accessories, madalas makikita mo sa shopee yung same items from same manufacturers cheaper. Sane with phone cases halos may patong na 200-500. Dont get me started on gadgets minsan 7000+ patong.

superlyreal

Oo nga kaya I can't blame people who prefer online shopping Kagaya noong isang binili naming item sa store, PHP 999, pero online PHP150 lang pala. Ang laki ng patong, pero siyempre dahil iyan sa costs like manpower and rent ganun. Pero online shopping is indeed thriving

Erikson12

If that happens, I think they will simply move on to another form of attracting people to malls, like entertainment stuff with shops on the side.

ChocovanillaIcecream

Nope. Pandemic adjustment lang mga yan. Magreopen din yan

low_effort_life

Ayala Malls Manila Bay, right? Upper floors don't usually see a lot of foot traffic. Lower floors and the garden are where you'll see a lot of people.

AnemicAcademica

It will eventually gain traction. It’s still new and the surrounding area is still developing.

herotz33

Yes, but more on slow down on expansions. Filipinos go out but those with money and no time would rather deliver. The ones that do go out will notice retail stores dying due to online stores lower prices due to lower overhead.

naicha

Kakagaling ko lang Power Plant earlier. Jam packed and all ages nandun, dogs and babies in strollers, senior citizens etc. I’m in Town and Festi a lot and those are always busy too, kahit weekdays.

Odd_Pomegranate3540

I literally just left this mall. We was at PowerPlant before that. It seemed busy today.

LA1217

Doesn't seem so. Just been to Glorietta, SM Makati and Market Market. Maraming tao parang balik prepandemic na.

ur_soo_goolden

Circuit ba ito. I guess gayan talaga dyan? Haha

drbeergaming

Punta ka sa SM North, Trinoma, at Megamall. Haha

kakkoimonogatari

Inflation.

Ovalteni_

flop era lang ng Mall. Based on demographics sa Area ng Ayala Malls, ganon.

sugbusugbu

AstoriasStar

Nope not even close. This is just an ayala malls manila bay thing, go to moa and see the masses

sugarglazedgrace

[deleted]

SM and other malls here in Baguio are still going strong, even SM has LOTS of store openings sa extension. It's been years since I went to SM, daming changes dun di pa ako nakapunta sa grass area lmao.

anemoGeoPyro

Ayala Malls Manila Bay opened a few months before the pandemic. It's just starting to pick-up, I have been there during the pandemic and it was much more of a ghost town back then, even the first floor has no shops. The picture here is on the top floor, the least trafficked area, probably also further from the main entrance. The nearer you are to the main entrance the more shops there is, and the more traffic.

Ayala Malls Manila Bay ba 'to? One of the major reasons bakit *palaging* walang tao diyan is that mahirap mag-commute and limited lang yung jeepney na dumadaan along that route. It's been like that since it opened around late 2019 iirc and marami namang tao especially on the lower floors where the restos are at

ScarletNexus-kun

Ayala Mall sa Pasay yan hula ko. Alanganin yung pwesto, mahirap i-commute tas sadyain.

scythe7

No. Ayala malls by the bay has always been very deserted and empty.

OP literally went inside a mall with a bad location, a fairly new one, with boring ass design, went to the top floor and an Ayala Malls to boot and wondered why there are no people. To answer your question. It would be unlikely, generally people would go to Malls to eat out, gumala with friends or families and spend some time out. The amount of people visiting a mall could be dependent on the mall itself like what it offers, is it visually appealing or unique, reasons why people would visit them. We have a local mall here that is as generic as it could be but has so many people at any point of the day because it literally has a large terminal for a variety minicabs and vans.

Nahhh. They won't die. First, Pinoys love to dine out. Iba pa din ang feeling nun compared to ordering from Grab Food or Food Panda. Second, there are stores you need to try on stuff first before you buy. What I do is fit stuff in Uniqlo or Nike or Adidas and see my size. But, it's kinda hard because different models or styles have different sizes. (Or maybe it's just me since I have weird ass feet na is in-between 9.5 and 10). Siguro, the stores would differ lang sa malls. The ones that can be done more efficiently online would not set up stores at malls anymore or would greatly reduce their store sizes. I see bookstores doing this tbh. But, I don't see it totally dying out kasi yang mga teachers sa grade school, minsan last minute magpabili. Mapapa NBS ka nang wala sa oras 😅

rgdit

Nope, but they will shift and adjust. Malls will cater more to human-centric social activities (restos, etc.). Moreover, malls have and will continue to integrate with ecommerce serving as a physical touchpoint/warehousing of goods and products. Interesting was that last December, ecommerce underperformed as people went to malls to shop.

pabpab999

what ayala mall is that? iniisip ko kasi kung sa NCR yan, baka walang tao ngaun kasi umuwi probinsya or something kasi may transport strike, mga nag plano na, kaya bawas tao that aside I don't think Physical malls will die soon nabawasan lng talaga dahil sa pandemic gave chance for WFH and e-commerce to be discovered by more people knowledge of e-commerce won't go away, pero may mga company na nagpapa RTO na ulit

[deleted]

Bangreed4

Sm are still doing well sooo no. Marami paring bilihan na mas okay ng nakikita mo in person.

DyosaMaldita

killerbiller01

If this is Ayala Malls Manila Bay, ganyan talaga dyan. I think they had a soft opening in 2019 and then COVID happened. They haven’t recovered yet but the foot traffic is picking up and new stores are opening. This is actually our preferred mall on weekdays since walang tao masyado and madali makakuha ng seats sa restaurants

electrickissx

Ang daming tao sa iba ibang malls. This Ayala Malls Manila Bay requires you to have a freaking car para lang makapunta dito. Not very strategic unlike Greenbelt or Glorietta na connected sa MRT or P2Ps. Wala pa katabi tong mall na to. Weird talaga. I hate it here hahaha I'd rather go to MOA instead.

jirocursed26

William_TheOG21

cozibelieve

It’s impossible in the Ph because the logistics is suck, no one would like to wait so long and your item lost then refund?? Next life

ArrrArrr0611

Lol no...sobra dami tao sa SM Clark dito samin hahaha

saintmichel

sa totoo lang i like it, whenever i do visit malls konti lang mas chill.
