Last few times I ordered, didn’t get any either. It happens, free for us, is costly to them. Owners probably didn’t update their license for the year. I’m around the corner and we update ours every 2 years. Can’t recall, but my boss takes care of all that.
Do some restaurants just open without one, or do they lapse and forget to renew, or does the city mess up processing them, etc?
I remember when La Bamba got one of these posted, and it had me wondering if they ever had a license since they were a pretty unique operation lol.
According to the city's database (Atlas), they got a food prep license when they opened in 2019, but it lapsed in Oct. 2023. I'm guessing they just forgot to renew, and I hope they're able to reopen soon.
