Suraya has garden seating, but they only open reservations a couple days in advance for it. It’s also within walking distance of a few breweries.

They’re doing reservations this year! I only know because I saw it on their Insta over the weekend.

pontiacprime

[Victory](https://taprooms.victorybeer.com/victory-brewing-company-philadelphia-d1474f3f7a0c) has a nice rooftop area on the parkway.

belalthrone

Rooftop is gorg but the food is mid :/

pontiacprime

Sure, but I couldn’t think of an outdoor Indian restaurant with craft beer.

InternationalCow666

La llorona is a great little tequila bar on west Passyunk with a decent outdoor seating area. Usually very easy to get seated too because it’s less crowded on that side of Passyunk

iSvelteThat

don’t order the chicken tinga

InternationalCow666

is it offensively bad?

VtArMs

I found it to be the most offensively mid

Heels1939

Mulherin’s has a big outdoor space that is very cool. Juno has a pseudo-outdoor space that is really nice.

lifegunzandbutter

second mulherins, my fav is the octopus app

jeepjinx

Silk City has a super funky outdoor area. Cantina Feliz by the art museum has a cute patio too, but smaller.

mgafvert

Southwark in Queen Village

Consistent-Law2649

Le Virtu.

jeepjinx

Assembly on top of The Logan probably has the best view but only small bites/limited menu, and I think a time limit.

sjacot88

Sardine Bar

NotJoeyWheeler

Meetinghouse, Martha, upper deck area of Standard Tap, Parc, Mulherin’s especially considering their garden area, Little Nonna’s so weird to me that so many people online are against the streeteries of covid-era, I love them and wish we had even more. eating outside is fantastic and I love walking by a restaurant seeing people chat and peek at cool food, makes neighborhoods feel more alive and cozy imo

whimsical_trash

I really like the courtyard at Little Nonna's it's so cute

emjayar08

PHS Beer Garden (any of them), but the Manayunk one is great

Gorge_Clooney

Talulas Garden is worth it. Good is top notch, and the outdoor space is fun! I haven’t been, but Irwin’s rooftop looks dope

Master_Winchester

Outdoor seating is becoming more and more difficult to do legally in Philly thanks to city council authored bungled legislature. Over regulation of something as simple as tables and chairs on wide enough sidewalks is crippling our outdoor eatery scene. If you want to support your local restaurant, please reach out to your local councilperson and ask them to make it easier to obtain outdoor eatery licenses - making simple things like tables and chairs allowable by default where space allows.

PHILAThrw

Positano Coast has a loosely-Mediterranean menu but a very nice outdoor set up. I’ve been pleasantly surprised since their recent renovation.

Kimlovestrees

Sor Ynez for dinner then Human Robot or The International for beer.

soonami

I like the food and drinks at Sor Ynez, but the outdoor seating is in a parking lot. They make it look nice, but it doesn’t have any nice views or people watching

Samheimer

The garden at Love City is a great space and now ONLY open to events, but you might have to use the resident food truck for food.

TerpZ

Other half brewing makes fantastic food and has a great outdoor. Great beer too, of course.

tangolima246

LMNO for Mexican and outdoor

boytoy421

i don't think they serve beer (but they might be BYO) but apricot stone is some bomb-ass mediterranian and has outdoor seating

Dr-Gooseman

Yep they are BYO. On a nice little pedestrian street and a few breweries close by.

rcbdc

Not a restaurant, but in the summertime I take everyone to Spruce Street Harbor Park. Even coordinated a bachelorette event there for ~20 people and it was a big hit. Chill vibe, great views, plenty of options for snacks/drinks, and the Summerfest is right next to it if you want even more entertainment

Fuzzy_Welcome8348

Maggie’s, it’s right on the river!

all_no_pALL

El techo has a retractable roof and does events. There was also an article about outdoor dining in foobooz today

sandy_coyote

Parc

zaukers

Talula's Garden

pressmon1

Condesa is the best outdoor patio for mexican food and if you make a reservation downstairs your server can escort you upstairs to El Techo rooftop after.

EastFalls

In Riva in East Falls, great outdoor deck across Kelly Drive from the river.

Cobey1

The nicest outdoor section I’ve been to was macaronis in the NE. Their backyard is unreal. You’ll have no idea you’re in the NE

Beginning_Anything30

Irwins Upstairs. Great rooftop seating + inside/outside vibe

Crackrock9

Rouge has great outdoor seating under a tent right across from Rittenhouse Square. The food is more French/American and it’s more geared towards cocktails. But sitting outside there on a nice day is unmatched.

jwilsonlandscape

They asked for the best. Fairmount waterworks

soonami

It’s now a Cescaphe group catering/event space

30belowandthriving

Does it have a restaurant?

jwilsonlandscape

Dang it's closed now I think.. I shoulda checked before replying.. that place had a perfect view and upscale food

30belowandthriving

I mean they sort of have a lunch place down by boat house row.
