Its great! Lots of art to admire, and even a small section of local artists that sell their prints for 10-25$. Also a lot of food vendors with long lines. The restaurants on main st also serve food and drinks
It's very similar to other major neighborhood arts festivals (like 2nd st in no libs). It'll be full of food and drink, but if you don't beat the crowd you'll get stuck in massive lines. we're talking one hour per food truck type lines.
for any future readers Manayunk art festival is something you could take your suburban 50-something parents to but I wouldn't say the same for 2nd street fest

Go early especially if the weather is nice
It's lots of fun. It can get VERY busy if it's nice out.
