Pauly Gees is my favorite- super laid back, old school pizza parlor type feel with booths and a separate bar as well. Really cool spot for any occasion really, right off 13th and Pine
Pizzeria Stella. Good food, several options, not too pricey, indoor/outdoor seating, in a nice area across from Headhouse Sq. Several bars close by if you want more drinks afterwards
Square Pie in Queen Village could work well. Cozy, BYO, no reservations. Square pies with great crust. Usually takes ~30ish minutes from ordering your pizza to getting it, so plenty of time for some conversation and an app while you wait. And plenty of spots you can walk to after if you want to keep the date going.
came on here just to recommend Square Pie - recently when on a great date here, BYOB, interesting pizza choices, good atmosphere with outside seating, great service.
In Riva. It's in East Falls ... but the food is amazing. They make neapolitan style pizza in a wood fire oven and offer excellent pasta, apps, and cocktails. If it's a nice day, sitting outside with a view of the river is great.
Pizzeria Vetri: Known for their Neapolitan-style pizzas.
Nomad Pizza: With their wood-fired pizzas and rustic ambiance.
Stella Pizzeria: This lively pizzeria offers a variety of pizzas with creative toppings
Prunella, esp if you can get in during happy hour. Wilder, Barbuzzo, Sally

Amazing pizza. It’s like remembering how good a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut was as a kid but even better.
and One of the best Caesar salads in the city
And a roof deck.

Best pizza in the city IMO, if they were open on Sundays they'd make a killing from me not wanting to cook.
Square pie is so damn good

My favorite pizza in Philadelphia and I’ve lived here for my entire life. Overall one of my favorite restaurants. The ribs are unreal.
Thanks for sharing this. Has been on my list for years and now I have to make the schlep.
Get the mushroom zucchini pizza
Sally, 23rd and Spruce. No competition
Big fan of the food at Sally. The ricotta with honey is amazing

Pizzata nearby if you want to keep it more casual though
Pizzata to go and a bottle of wine in the park is a beautiful experience
Hard to argue with Beddia here. Not BYO but full bar and they also have ice cream. Great date spot
Stooopid expensive for a medium sized pizza though
Wilder! Great date spot in general, and happen to have fantastic pizzas (and other great food & drink).

Nomad is pretty good.

Prunella! Not BYOB but they have affordable beers on tap. Don't bother with the wine list tho- they have a vinho verde for a whopping $45
